"Alex, where are you bringing me?" I asked as he led me down a side street. "It's a surprise and we need to go this way or else I'll get mobbed by fans." Alex said and I nodded but I still wanted to know where we were going. Finally we reached a brightly lit street and we walked down the sidewalk, our hands swinging between us as we walked. "Where are we going?" I whined feeling incredibly impatient as Alex kept leading the way down the street. "Oh you're still really bad when it comes to be patient." he said shaking his head before stopping. "Yes Alex, not much has changed but please! Either keep walking or just tell me!" I shouted pulling at his hand.

"Alright, we're going." Alex chuckled and I was caught between scowling and smiling. Good thing was I didn't have to wait as long to get to wherever we were going but bad was I still didn't know. We started walking again and soon Alex started to slow. "Are we almost there?" I asked and Alex nodded. "Be patient my love." he said and I frowned at him, I just couldn't wait much longer. After what seemed like ages later Alex turned into a park and I raised an eyebrow at him. "Just wait." he said and I shrugged, Alex always managed to have something good up his sleeve.

Eventually we reached a large tree and Alex let go of my hand before running over to it. He started to climb it and once he was on the first branch closest to the ground he stopped and looked back at me. "Come on!" he shouted and I shook my head before running towards the tree. I climbed up after him and stopped when I reached where Alex was sitting. "So, what kind of date is this?" I asked sitting down in front of him. "A creative one, dinner and a movie is so high school." he said in a girlish voice and I giggled before leaning back against his chest. "I like this; it's more fun than sitting in a stuffy restaurant." I said and he nodded before leaning his chin onto my shoulder.

"Look up." he whispered into my ear and I looked into the sky. The leaves kind of obscured the sky but you could still see it very well. "There's supposed to be a meteor shower tonight." he said and I smiled. "This is gonna be awesome." I said snuggling back into him and letting him wrap his arms around my waist. Alex chuckled and I looked down for a moment. That's when I realized how high up we were and I quickly tensed. "What, what's the matter?" Alex asked quickly feeling the way I tensed. "What happens if we fall?" I inquired nervously squeezing his arm. "Then we die." Alex said and I scowled. "Ha ha, very funny you asshole." I said sarcastically and wiggling away from him and starting to slowly try to get down from the tree. "Leah, come on. You won't die or fall, I promise." he said giving me his famous grin.

I stopped what I was doing and looked up at him, eyebrow raised. "Cross my heart." Alex told me while making an X over his chest. "Fine but if I fall out and die I'll haunt you forever." I told him while climbing back onto the thick branch. "I would welcome your haunting, it would make me miss you a bit less." he said sweetly nuzzling into my neck. "Okay then I wouldn't haunt you." I said stubbornly still mad at him. "Aw, stop being mad at me, please?" he begged and I couldn't help but melt at the absolutely adorable face he gave me. "Stop being so damn cute." I said crossing my arms over my chest and Alex laughed.

We talked quietly for a little while longer and then Alex was quiet. "Look, it's starting." he said pointing up. I saw what looked like a shooting star fall from the sky and I looked back at Alex with a grin on my face. "Make a wish." I instructed before shutting my eyes and thinking hard. I wished for happiness, for Alex and my relationship to work and for an idea of what I should do when the school year came back around. My eyes were still squeezed shut when Alex tapped on my arm. "What did you wish for?" he asked and I shook my head. "Oh come on Leah!" he wheedled but I giggled and shook my head again.

"Sorry Alex, it won't come true if I tell you." I told him and he scowled at me. I flashed him a smile and he looked like he was fighting with himself to keep the scowl. "Oh you know you wanna smile." I said and his face slowly cracked into a wide smile. I laughed before leaning back against him and watching the meteor shower. Almost an hour later they stopped and Alex yawned widely. "Wanna get some food and then go back to the bus?" he asked and I nodded before starting to slowly climb down the tree. When my feet hit the ground I looked up at Alex and then grinned to myself. "Catch me!" I shouted before taking off across the park. "I'm gonna get you!" Alex yelled from somewhere behind me. I laughed hard as I ran; this was a lot of fun.

*Alex's POV*

Leah started sprinting through the park and I shook my head to myself before chasing after her. I could hear her laughing like a maniac and I could just see her red hair and white shirt sticking out in the dark. I sped up and I was about to wrap my arms around her and roll to the ground with her but she quickly turned before I could get to her. "You're gonna have to try harder than that Alex!" she laughed before taking off in the other direction. I stuck my tongue out in concentration and ran after her. Finally she was within my reach and I pulled her to my chest, rolling to the ground.

"Got you." I said panting tiredly. "You did, you win." Leah said her voice all breathy as she turned so she was sitting on top of my hips. "What do I win?" I asked while running my hands up her bare legs until I reached the bottom of her shorts. "Hm, what did you have in mind?" she asked while leaning down to brush her lips to mine. "I can think of a couple things." I whispered against her lips before deepening the kiss. I licked her bottom lip and she opened her mouth letting my tongue snake in. Leah kissed me hungrily and I could feel her hands start roaming under my shirt. I was suddenly glad I decided to shower after I had gotten off of the stage or else I would stink to high heavens.

"Alex, we're in a park." she pointed out as I slipped my hands under her shirt. "Very good observation, I'm proud of you." I said and she pulled back to smack my chest. "Cheeky asshole." Leah whispered and I smiled before rolling over so I was hovering over her. "But you like it baby girl." I said and she rolled her eyes. "Just shut up and kiss me already." she said pulling me closer by the front of my shirt. I laughed before kissing her gently. I started to kiss along her jawline and down her neck then back up smiling to myself as I did so. Leah pulled me closer by belt loops on my jeans and I put my hand underneath her head so I could bring her face closer to mine. "As fun as this is, I don't have a condom." I said when I felt my dick twitch in my pants.

Leah groaned and lay back against the ground. I rested my head on her stomach and then I thought of something. "We can always do other stuff if you want." I said seductively before biting her hip. She moaned and looked down her body at me, an eyebrow raised. "Or we can always go back to the bus…" she said trailing off and I knew that wasn't what she really wanted to do. Our chances of having privacy on the bus were slim to none. "It'll be fun." I said in the most convincing voice I could muster while I toyed with the button on her jean shorts. "Alex, you don't need to ask me twice." she said before pushing my hand away.

To my surprise and delight she reached for the button on my jeans. I stifled a moan as she reached into my pants and looked up at me seductively. "Why are you so hot?" I mumbled and she just giggled. 20 minutes of pure bliss later I was standing up and fixing myself as Leah watched me from the grass. "We have an hour til we have to be back to the bus and it only takes 10 minutes to walk back." I said suggestively before gently pushing her onto her back. I smiled devilishly at her before getting on hands and knees over her. I instantly started to bite her collarbone, she moaned before pulling at my chin until our lips met. I bit down on her bottom lip and sucked on it for a moment before kissing my way down her body.

When I finally reached her pants I looked up at her and our eyes met as I hooked my teeth around the button. They were unbuttoned within seconds and she shook her head. "That still amazes me, how do you do that?" she asked as I pushed down her shorts. "Talent, pure talent." I informed her and she scoffed. "Whatever you say man whore." Leah mumbled and I rolled my eyes before getting back to what I was doing. A little while later we were both standing up and brushing the dirt off our clothes. "That was fun." she said, a grin plastered onto her face as she fixed her clothing. "Oh yeah it was." I said grabbing her hand and starting to walk out of the park. I yawned widely as we walked, it had been a long day and I was extremely exhausted.

*Leah's POV*

I looked over at Alex as he yawned. "Tired?" I asked softly and he nodded. "I'll make you something to eat when we get back and then we can go to bed." I told him while reaching up ruffle his already messy hair. "You're honestly the best girlfriend ever." he said stopping me and wrapping his arms around my waist. His hands rested on the small of my back and I smiled up at him. "You're an okay boyfriend I guess." I teased and he dropped his jaw in a mock look of shock. He placed a hand on his chest, "Well I never!" he said and I couldn't help but burst into laughter at the display.

"You're a strange one Mr. Gaskarth." I said as we started walking again. "But isn't that why we were friends in the first place?" he asked and I nearly choked on my own spit. "Friends? If you don't recall I hated you, for a while." I laughed as we turned onto the street the bus was parked on. "No! You always liked me! Admit it!" he demanded and I laughed hard. "Sorry to hurt your ego Alex but I really and truly didn't like you." I told him while shaking my head and turning onto the bus. "I don't believe you, you're lying." Alex said stubbornly and I laughed. "You can ask any of the guys, you were not my favorite person. I think I liked Ice Queen more than you for a bit." I said knowing it would get him all riled up.

"That's it! I know you're lying cause you punched her in the face." Alex said as we reached the top of the stairs on the bus and all of the guys gave us looks. "Who did you punch?" Rian inquired worriedly. "No one tonight, don't worry about it." I said as I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. "Leah is trying to say she liked Megan better than me in high school." Alex explained before taking the bottle of out my hands and taking a sip. "She did for a while freshman year before you guys were banging." Jack said and then he started laughing when he saw the look on Alex's face. "Is that why you didn't like her? Cause you liked me and she was hitting this." he teased while gesturing to his body.

"Oh she didn't want that then, hell she hated you." Rian said and I burst out laughing when Alex looked shocked. "I told you baby but it doesn't matter now cause I love you, even if you are a big headed fool." I said taking the bottle from his hand. "About time someone brought Alex down, his ego was starting to get a bit blinding." Jack joked and I laughed as Alex pouted. "We're just teasing, what do you want to eat?" I asked while rummaging around in the cabinets for something quick and easy. "I dunno." Alex said going to sulk in the corner. "Oh you're such a drama queen sometimes, want a peanut butter and jelly?" I asked while grabbing everything I would need. I looked over my shoulder and he nodded. I wanted to laugh at him but I didn't feel like annoying him more. My boyfriend could be such a girl sometimes, especially when he was tired.

After making three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I handed two to Alex and sat down beside him. "So, how was the little date?" Rian asked and I smiled to myself as I swallowed the sandwich. "Oh it was great." I said looking over at Alex who winked at me. "What did you guys do?" Jack asked and I took a bite of my sandwich so I wouldn't have to explain. "Nothing, just went for a walk, hung out at the park." Alex said in a nonchalant manner. Jack eyed him suspiciously but didn't say anything else. Once I finished my sandwich I yawned tiredly. "I'm so tired, I'm gonna go to bed. I'll see you guys in the morning. Good night." I said hugging Rian who was next to me and getting up.

"What about me?" Jack asked and I laughed before kissing his cheek. "Night Jacky." I said and I placed my hand on Zack's shoulder before walking into the back. Once I kicked off my sneakers and replaced my clothes with one of Alex's shirts and a pair of old sweatpants I climbed into the bunk. I was trying to get myself comfortable but the bunk felt so empty without Alex in it. I didn't have to worry about that for long though because only a couple minutes later Alex who was clad in nothing but boxers climbed into the bunk. I guess the grin on my face was bigger than usual because Alex laughed.

"Miss me baby?" he questioned while pulling me so my head was resting on his chest. "Maybe a little bit." I yawned before rubbing at my eye tiredly. "Go to sleep." Alex instructed but I shook my head. "Not yet, I wanna talk to you for a bit longer." I mumbled and Alex chuckled. "I'll talk, you just shut your eyes." he said while tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. I nodded sleepily and listened to Alex as he told me what he had done today while I had gone to hang out with Travis. Pretty soon the words just started to melt together and I could feel myself drifting off.

The next morning I woke up early as usual but I felt all gross. My head ached, my stomach churned, my head felt like it was on fire but the rest of my body felt cold. I whined in pain as I went to roll over and pain shot through my head. Alex being the deep sleeper he was slept through it and I was glad. I didn't want to make him worry about me and I knew he instantly would if he heard me. After a while of just lying there I decided that it would be just better fall back asleep.

*Alex's POV*

When I woke up I was surprised to find Leah still wrapped around me. Usually she was up and running around by now, I hoped she was feeling okay. I reached up to push her fringe back off of her and her head was hot to the touch. I bit down on my lip worriedly; I hope she wasn't getting sick. I decided to be an awesome boyfriend and as gently as I could I untangled her from me. Once I was free from the mess of limbs I climbed out of the bunk and walked to the front. Zack, one of the very few earlier risers out of everyone who lived in the bus was sitting out front looking really bored. "What's up dude?" I asked while scratching my head. "Waiting for the bus to stop so I can skate for a bit, what's up with you? You're up kind of early." he remarked and I shrugged.

"Gonna make Leah breakfast." I said pulling out eggs and sausages. "That's nice of you." Zack said and I nodded. "She's been making me dinner and taking care of me lately now I wanna take care of her." I said surprising myself. I had never been in a relationship where someone took care of me and I took care of them back. It was always like one night stands or relationships where I didn't really care about the girl, all I really cared about was having someone to fuck. I couldn't believe how much I had changed just with Leah's presence in my life. I actually didn't feel the want to cheat or to be an asshole to her. I wanted her, needed her to stick around because without her I would be absolutely lost.

I started cooking without really paying attention to anything but the food. Pretty soon I was piling the food onto the plate and I poured Leah a glass of orange juice before walking into the bunk area. Breakfast in a bunk wasn't as nice as breakfast in a bed but hey, it was better than nothing. I placed the plate and cup on the floor by my feet before pulling back the curtain and smiling at Leah's sleeping face. I gently shook her arm until she started to groan and move around. Finally she put her head up and looked at me through half shut eyes. "What Lex?" she mumbled sleepily. "I hate to wake you up but I made you breakfast." I said bending down and lifting up the plate to show her. She smiled weakly at me and rolled over.

"Thanks Alex." she said as I placed the plate in her lap and bent down to get the juice. The way she was looking at it looked like she was going to be sick but she just gave me a smile before cutting up a sausage and taking a bite. "Are you okay?" I asked her and she shook her head yes before taking a large bite of the eggs. I could tell the smile was forced and by the sweat on her forehead I knew she wasn't feeling well but I decided that if she insisted she was fine than it wasn't that big of a deal. "Do you need anything else?" I asked her while handing her the glass of juice. "No, I'm fine. This is really good, thanks." Leah said smiling and taking a small bite of sausage. "Alright, I'll be in the back, holler if you need me?" I asked and she nodded.

*Leah's POV*

As soon as Alex was out of sight I spit the sausage onto the plate and laid my head back against the back of the bunk. I was feeling nauseous and like I was going to throw up. There were sharp pains in my stomach and my head was on fire. I was sat there for a second though because I decided I needed to look like I ate. I didn't want Alex to know I was sick, I knew he would get all worried and try to make me stay in the bunk. While I loved how he wanted to take care of me, I didn't want to be stuck in the bus. Luckily no one was in the kitchen and I was able to throw out my food without anyone questioning me as to why. When I finally washed and put my plate away I went to go back and lay in the bunk but I couldn't make it because the sharp pains in my stomach brought me to my feet.

I was on the ground holding my stomach when I heard someone walk into the front. I tried to get to my feet quickly so they wouldn't ask me what was wrong but the pain just flared up even more and I groaned. "Leah, what is the matter?" Jack inquired worriedly while getting down on his knees in front of me. "I'm fine." I managed to choke out despite the pains getting worse. "Fine my ass, what's wrong?" he asked again as I struggled to catch my breath. "Stay." Jack instructed once I didn't answer him and he got up and ran into the back. A couple minutes later there was Alex, Rian, Jack, Matt and Zack around me. "Leah, tell me what hurts." Rian instructed but the pain had grown so much that I couldn't even get a word out.

"We got to take her to the hospital, it could be her appendicitis." Matt pointed out and I shook my head stubbornly. "M'fine, no hospital." I groaned out with a little bit of effort. "You're not fine and you're going, Matt go tell the bus driver to take us straight there." Alex said but I shook my head and fought back the tears that threatened to fall. "Stop fighting it cause you're going whether you like it or not, just relax." Rian said as he pulled me closer. By now the pain had grown to be so painful all I could do was wrap my arms around myself and cry. "Leah, why didn't you tell me something was wrong earlier?" Alex asked while rubbing my back soothingly.

"M'fine." I insisted again through the tears and pain. I heard Zack scoff, "Yeah, cause being on the ground crying in pain is definitely healthy." he said sarcastically and I just glared at him. "It's cramps, I don't need a doctor." I said stubbornly even though I knew I had gotten my period two weeks ago. "You're such a liar." Alex said his voice low as I leaned my head down again. Much to my dislike only 10 minutes later we had pulled up the hospital and Alex was lifting me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him carry me off of the bus. "I'm fine." I insisted again even though I knew it would be fruitless.

"Hush, you're not." Alex said as he carried me inside. I really didn't want to be here but there wasn't much I could do. I was only inside for a second before things started happening real fast. The fear that it might be appendicitis made the doctors work fast and soon I couldn't even figure out where Alex was. All I knew while the tears poured down my face and the doctor said it indeed appendicitis was that I wanted Alex. I hated hospitals and the fact that everything seemed to be spinning was making me feel even worse. The last thing I remembered before the doctors knocked me out was thinking about Alex and how much I wanted him…
