Alex's POV
I have to call Keith.
(Phone rings)
Keith:"Hello?"
Brian:"Hi Keith, its Brian. I have to talk to you."
Keith:"We need to go get Alex."
Brian:"We need to go get Alex.-Wait what did you just say Keith?"
Keith:"The same thing as you!"
Brian:"Good! We're on the same page!"
Keith:"So the orphanage took him."
Brian:"Afraid so. What if Jeff took him back!"
Keith:"Oh, Brian please. I-I just can't think about that right now. I can't."
Brian:"Are you ok, Keith?"
Keith:"I'm scared, Brian. I'm scared. For Alex. I'm scared for Alex. Our poor little boy!"
Brian:"Hey man, it's ok. Well go get our son together. Things will work out. Weather or not they'll be ok-I don't know."
Keith:"You go Brian, I can't. I'm coming back home with Ron, Mick, Bill, and Charlie. We'll be their in 10 hours."
Brian:"Your still on, tour..... I can't-Keith, I can't do this alone man. I need your-"
Keith:"Be very gentle to him Brian. Speak softly. The Stones and I can't be there at the moment."
Brian:"Ok. I'm soft-spoken naturally, so....."
Keith:"Tell him I said hi, ok?"
Brian:"Yes. So when you coming back?"
Keith:"Um, well, let's see. I-we should be back like I said, in 10 hours, if not less."
Brian:"Gotcha. Bye Keith."
Keith:"See ya later Brian. Tell me all about what Alex tells you!"
Brian:"Yes. Bye Keith."
Keith:"Bye Jones."
Brian:"Richards!"
Keith:"Jones!"
Brian:"Richards!"
Keith:"Jones!"
Brian:"Richards!"
Keith:"Ok, w-we need to stop."
(Laughing)
Brian:"Bye."
Keith:"Bye."
(end of call)
I hang up, get in the car, and go get Alex.
I arrive at the orphanage a couple minutes later, get out, and head inside.
It's quiet inside.
I walk u pro the front desk, and approach the man (guard) who sits there.
Frank:"Who are you here for, Alexander?"
"Alex. It's just Alex. Yes."
Brian answers.
"It says Alexander here! On the paper!"
"I don't care, that's not his name. His name is Alex!"
Brian says protectively.
Frank rolls his eyes.
"Last name?"
Frank says.
Brian's POV
"Jones. My last name is Jones."
I say.
"Ok, sign this!"
Frank booms.
I sign.
"I'll go get him."
Frank says as he goes upstairs, and I here yelling, probably from Frank mostly.
"Get out! NOW! Get you ass down stairs! MOVE bastard!"
Frank yells.
Alex walked down the steps slowly, and carefully.
Frank nudges him.
Alex's POV
"Ok, leave my son alone!"
Brian says.
Brian picks me up, and I wince.
Brian looks into my eyes-in which are filled with fear, and rushes outside, and into the car.
"Oh, baby. I'm so, so, so sorry."
Brian says as he kissed my head.
Brian puts me I my car seat, buckles me in, shuts the door, and he gets I get in the car. We head home.
A couple minutes later, we arrive at Brian's house. Brian gets me out, and we head inside.
"Alex, come here baby."
Brian says wanting to pick me up.
He caries me to the kitchen, and sets me down on a chair.
Brian makes us some dinner, and we sit down to eat.
We don't really say much to each other.
I know he probably wants me to come out and tell him everything that happened, but it's not that easy for me.🏴
