Chapter 3
I stromed out of the house and walked back to my house. Behind me Nathan was trying to catch up to me. But I just ignored him and kept walking. He grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "What is the matter with you? Your idea for the cafe is gonna happen why do you have to be so pissed off?" "I never get credit for anything I do, James just randomly drops in and no one told me, and worst of all my brother left!" My eyes start to tear up but I don't cry infornt of people. He took a step closer to me I look up into his very blue eyes and he looks back at me. Before I knew it he pulled me right into his arm, can't believe I am saying this but I just want to stay like this all night. Sadly he let go of me. "Meet me back here in an hour." I didn't say anything back and just walked away.
I was now in my room debating if I should go or not. I don't even know Nathan should I even go but then there is that courious side of me. Eh what could happen I will go. I walked across the street, halfway there I see Nathan and his crew destroying James car. At that moment I turned around and walked away but I hear footsteps. "What do you want Nathan?" "Its not what its look likes." I stopped and turned around. "Really? Not what it look likes, because to me looks like you and your friends are recking James car."
My when my mom and James walked out of the Johnson house and saw the car, Nathan friends were long gone and now I am in trouble my mom will kill me. "LYDIA WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!!!! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" I said nothing and let my mom yell at me. James looked pretty clam still. "Lydia I know its been hard for you but you are not getting away easy this time. You will be helping Nathan fix the cafe starting Monday and after that you will be working at the cafe for 2 months to pay off for what you did." Still I stay quiet and said nothing in return. But my mom had something else in mine. "YOU UNGREATFUL LITTLE BRAT GET THAT LOOK OFF YOUR FACE!" I turn to look at her. "You mean my face." Now I went too far, just for that my mom punch the side of my face. Not gonna lie but that hurt like hell and look at my mom she wasn't done with me yet. James held my mom back and look at me. "Lydia you are staying with the Johnson for the weekend. Run now and pack you stuff and I will talk to you soon. Run!"
I said nothing back to him and ran back into my house. I went straight into my room grabbed my backpack stuff as much clothes as I can into it. I also grabbed my phone and headphones. When I was about to run out of my room I ran straight into a hard figure. By the time my eyes focus Nathan was just standing there look down at me. "Come on. get up already you did enough today." "I did enough? Really? Your Butthole friends Ruined James car and I got blame, my mom hates me Now." Not that I care that she hates me I don't really care but that gave me a second reason to yell at him. "Come on lets go." I took a step back. "No! I have another place to stay at I am not staying at you house." With that comment Nathan threw me over his shoulder and was on his way to his house. He was a lot stronger than me so hitting his was off the list , that leaves me one choice but to bite his shoulder. I bit down hard, he yelled in pain but that only made him hold me down harder.
On the way to his house I didn't see my mom or James car in sight anymore. She most likely going to stay at his house for awhile. I don't know my she think James will come back. I may not know him very well but I know that he doesn't want much to do with this family and all he care about is money. If he were to ever come back it was because he wanted money and that's why he want part in the café.
Nathan came up to his room dropped me on his bed. "Lydia, don't be mad about this. You are just taking one for the team, think about it like that." He winked at me then left the room.
