The bell rang and I finally could go to lunch. I walked in, got my food and looked for an empty table. I saw one by the window and headed towards it. I sat down putting my head on the table and sighed. I kind of wished I was at school with the guys. I missed them.
Especially Seth. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see Alice waving at me."Hi, there." She said sitting next to me. My god they were every where! "Hi...what are you doing?" i sighed cautiously." Well i thought I needed to talk to you about something."" About what?" " Well i think you already know, but Bella doesn't like you so she's going to snatch your necklace and through it somewhere." I growled a little in my chest.
I wanted her to even step a foot in front of me with an attitude." well , let little miss perfect come if she wants I don't see what her problem is." Alice giggled and looked at the door." Well I could sit with you if you want. I know we don't really see eye to eye but I really think you're an okay wolf."
" Thanks ,and thanks for the heads up i won't hurt her... physically." I glared. She left and walked to another empty table with a guy that looked like he was on edge or something. Personally I didn't have a problem with being friends with Alice. She seemed okay enough, but that smell was going to be the death of me.
I saw Bella storm in as she came towards me with Edward right behind her. I sat back looking at her with a evil smile." So what brings you here human?" I said as I pushed back from my tray holding onto my necklace." Well I just thought I should let you know, I don't think you under stand. Edward is my boyfriend okay."
She said a little too close to my face. I stood up towering over her just by an inch. She backed up into Edward's arms who knew i wasn't going to do anything to hurt her." Look I don't want your blood sucker, personally I don't like you. And if you snatch this necklace off my neck it will be the last thing you ever touch." I whispered to her." Why is so special to you."
" Well let me think because Jacob gave it to me. I really don't see what her saw in such a shallow person like you." Her eyes widen and I could see Edward inching in front of her a little." What do you mean saw?" She asked with a jealous look in her eyes.
" Well Jacob has moved on, and I really hope that you and Edward have happy life."" He imprinted on you!" " No, but I told him that when he did and he ever had a chance with you it would break you pathetic little heart. You really should leave me alone NOW!" I shouted so I could finally have some peace. She turned and walked away.
" Edward lets just go." she said looking at the floor." You can go ahead, I'll be right there." He sat in front of me and I starred at him while she starred at me and stomped off." What do you want?" " I can't understand, why are you helping her?"
" I don't hold grudges and I'm not helping her, I'm helping that girl that Jacob will one day imprint on so she won't get her heart broken." "Well, you seem like a caring person, but I still don't understand you don't smell like a wolf." " I think that's none of your business." and I thought of other things to keep him out of my mind.
" Well I can see that you don't want to tell me so I leave you alone." " Hey Edward I-" I turned to see a tall muscular boy with topaz eyes. He was the boy in my recurring dream! I stood up and tried to walk away." Wait martricia, this is Emmett my brother." "Yeah nice to meet you I have to get out of here."
I ran to the trashed can and slipped. I was waiting to meet the floor but the Emmett grabbed me by the waist and held me up." Are you okay?" He asked. I looked at him and saw he wasn't breathing. He was trying not to inhale my scent." Emmett thanks, but I have to go." He turned me loose I walked out of the cafeteria.
I scrambled into the hall catching my Breath. I pulled out my cell phone and dialed Sam's number. It rang a couple of times then he answered." Hello?" the all too familiar alpha voice rang." Sam, I gotta get out of here, the vamps a freaking me out and i swear on m&ms I will punch Bella dead in her face. By the way can I have permission to slap her?" "Okay, well you'll have to wait until Jacob gets out of school and No." "Just on-" "No." "Fine but it’s mostly her that’s the problem."
"Just stick it out." I sighed and said my goodbye to Sam." Stay good." he said and I laughed into the phone. I ended the call and leaned against the locker. I breathed slowly to calm myself down. I closed my eyes until i felt a cold hand on me. I tensed up and flashed my eyes open.
EMMENT P.O.V.
I grabbed her by her arm and her body went stiff. She opened her eyes and stared at me with a confessed look. " What are you doing vamp?" she asked me with her cute voice. I couldn't help but inhale her scent. It was so intoxicating that i had to stop myself. I finally knew what Edward felt like when he first meet Bella. This strange young girl was my singer.
" I just wanted to make sure you were okay." I told her as her body began to relax a little. " I'm fine, it's that hag that I can't stand." She huffed out and i realized that she and Bella didn't see eye to eye. " What's wrong with her." " I keep telling her that her little blood sucker isn't my type. I mean honestly his a little scrawny to me, i rather have muscular kind of guy." she stated.
I tried to hold back the laugh but it was too funny to keep it in. I burst into a laugh and she eyed me with a smile." Well, I guess you have my vote." she said as her eyes seemed to trace me. I traced hers as well and boy was she filled out. She was a little shorter than me but was taller than Bella as we all saw in the cafeteria." Hellooooo." she said waving her hands in front of my face
. I snapped out of the trance her body had me in and looked into her eyes." Well I'd love to stay a chant, but i really have to get to class." she said as she grabbed her books off of the floor and started walking away. I stood against the locker trying to pull my self together. I headed to my class as the bell rung.
Martricia P.O.V.
I ran towards the class as I realized Edward was there. I went to the desk and talked to the female teacher. I felt a smell hit me like lightening as I twirled around to see the big guy name Emmett was also in here. Art really didn't seem like his kind of thing. The teacher pointed to a chair next to the big guy and I sighed. This would be interesting. I sat down and listened to the teacher.
" Today we'll just do a little free lance, draw what you please and I’ll critique it." I finally had a class where i was most happy to be in. I pulled out a pencil and started drawing. I was always into drawing because it really helped me with my temper. I started drawing First beach and started little shadows they were along the beach. I couldn't help but notice Emmett wasting no time drawing something I just had to stare at. I shifted my eyes over to his paper and saw a gorgeous rose with layers opened outwards. He was starting to add thorns when he caught me starring.
"So, you like roses?" he asked with a really toothy grin. I smirked at him before I answered. " I think they're beautiful but I'm not really a flower girl if you know what i mean." He looked at me a smiled." Yeah your really don't look like one." I saw his eyes trace down my body. I turned completely around so I was facing him." This is seriously considered as stalking." I smirked as i folded my arms in front of my chest. Twisting around my necklace that caught his eye.
It was weird to me. His scent wasn't as disturbing as the others. I kind of inhaled a bit and he caught me red handed." Uh, don't worry you smell nice your damn self." he said. I turned completely back around in my seat. I turned to see Edward staring at me with a smile." Knock it off. ' I whispered to him. He kind of laughed and went back to work.
The rest of the day I came to know that Emmett was not only in my Art class but was also in my French, math, and geography class. Bella was in my French class, but I easily ignored her." Sooo, do you need a ride home?" Emmett asked me with hopeful eyes.
" Whoa, hold on there Big boy, you really must be forgetting I'm Quileute and I have a boyfriend and his friends don't take a liking to your brother." I said with a smile. " Well, I guess I'll see you later big guy." I said with a giggle. I turned to see him smiling another big grin. I walked out to see Jacob and Edward arguing. " I was there for her when you left." I heard Jacob shout out, that was my cue. I walked over and stepped in between them turning to Jacob who was heated
." Jakey stop." He looked down at me and his face lighten up a bit."Fine, but next time she won't be here." " There won't be a next time." I heard Edward hiss behind me. I turned to the middle and pressed my hands against both their chest." Boys, if you can't play nice then don't play at all." They both looked down at me and I made a slight growl." Jacob go now, and Edward calm down!" Bella's eyes blazed at me and I knew exactly what she was going to do. I twisted to face Edward and stared at her. I turned and pushed Jacob away.
BELLA P.O.V
I still stood there shocked. When did she get so friendly with Edward .." Edward what was that?"I asked him as we made our way to the car." Nothing" I guess he had no answer. I saw the Emmett walking up to us. I was guessing he was riding with us." Edward why?" he whined. What was wrong with him. He couldn't respond. He had no answer for any of the things that happened today. Edward drove faster than normal and I saw why. His eyes where black. I sat in silence all the way home.
MARTRICIA P.O.V.
We stopped in front of the house." Martricia, I should thank ,you always know when to calm me down kid." I turned a little red and ruffled his hair."Its fine, I just want to punch her sooo bad its killing me." He laughed. I started getting out the car and could smell that no one was home." Hey Jake you coning in?" I asked." No, I think I’ll go running to clear my head."
" Sure, see you later kid." I walked to the door as he pulled off. I walked in and started on my homework. It didn't take me long so I walked into the kitchen. There was a note on the table.
" Sweet heart, I went to the store and Sam is at the elder’s house, I will be back in a few hours, love Emily
I sat the note on the table and went to sit back on the couch. My cell phone started to rang and I looked to see a unfamiliar number. "Uh, Hello." " Well, hello Beautiful." the voice on the other end said." Huh, well thanks but i don't think I know you, and how did you get this number." " " It's me Emmett." My heart stopped a little. " Aw, big guy, I should already know how you got my number but my question is why did you call?"
" Well i think I should take you out... only as friends since you’re at home by yourself." "Okay as creepy as that sounds Seth just walked through the door and I think he already knows who I'm talking to so I'll tell you what, if you hang up I'll think about it." He made a loud sigh, but then agreed." Fine, bye beautiful." and the phone went dead.
I watched as Seth made his way over to me but then stopped two feet away." okay so this is how you' a smell." "Fine ,I'll just go and take a shower." I was on my way to the bathroom upstairs when Seth grabbed my hand and twirled me around." I have a better Idea." he said while winking at me
. He was wearing a white t-shirt with tan pants. He came closer to me and took of his shirt. I never really paid that much attention to Seth's body but boy was I missing out. He dropped it to the floor and came closer to me. He kissed my lips and I made a slight grunt sound. He started slowly towards my neck and placed little kisses ." Seth if I wasn't sure ,I'd say you were marking me." I said with a huge smile.
He made a playful growl sound and came up to my ear." Your mines." he said as he continued to kiss me around my face and then came even closer rubbing against me. His scent was rubbing onto me and I simply enjoyed the attention. He left up as I let out a pleasurable sigh." Now , you won't have to worry about that shower." he said with a smile. He bent over and grabbed his shirt putting it back on as we headed back downstairs.
