Chapter 15

3 months later
~Alex POV~
After all the stuff that happened, Derek coming home, My psycho brother kidnaping me.
It was a lot to take in.
It hit me hard, after it happened.
Nightmares and hallucinations. It wasn't good.
So me and Derek decided that we should move, go somewhere different.
The squad really supports us on that.
But we decided to get married before we left.
And we did.
I'm now a married woman!
"I'm so happy for you guys" Olivia said and gave me tight hug.
"Thank you. For everything" I said while squeezing her a little tighter.
"Of course" she said quietly, but smiling.
"See ya partner... it was fun while it lasted" Amanda joked, while she hugged me.
"Shut up..." I laughed.
"I'll miss you partner" I said.
"You too" she said.
"Nick" I said and he smiled.
I hugged him.
"Have fun... wherever you're going" he said.
"Thank you... we'll try" I laughed.
"Don't forget about me" Fin said.
"How could I?" I joked and gave him a big hug.
"Be safe" he said.
I nodded my head.
"Captain... thank you" I said and Cragen smiled.
"You are great detective, detective Reynolds and you'll do great in the Intelligence unit" he said and gave me a hug.
"You'll love Chicago" he added as I let go.
"Yeah... I hope so" I laughed.
"Alright well.... goodbye everyone." I said smiling trying not to cry.
"Bye Reynolds. Visit soon!" Cragen said.
"I will... I promise" I laughed.
We all said goodbye and me and Derek walked out of there.
We were on our way to Chicago.
"You miss them already, don't you?" He said.
"Yeah... just a little" I joked.
"I know, honey... I know" he said side hugged me and kissing my forehead as we were walking.
"I'm sure You'll love your job in Chicago... what is it you're doing again?" he asked.
"Intelligence Unit" I said smiling.
"Intelligence unit for an intelligent person" he laughed kissing my nose.
"I love you" I said.
"I love me too" he joked.
"Shut up" I laughed while lightly slapping his arm.
This was good.
A good ending.
But I'll never forget them.
Hopefully I like my new job.
