"I'm home!" I shout entering the house.
I take my blazer off, and leave it at the door, along with my heels.
"In the kitchen!" I hear mom's voice.
I smile walking to the kitchen.
"You could greet me you know dad?" I kiss his cheek, and sit down on the stool.
"Well I didn't want to. I think we should get rid of Smokey. He keeps waking me up in the morning by licking my face" dad groans
Just then Smokey runs inside, from the garden.
He barks at me, wagging his tail.
"Who's my good boy?" I bend down, looking at him.
He barks at me.
"Yes you are" I laugh, hugging him.
"You're just lucky he doesn't lick your face." Dad says and I smile.
"Dad, he's going to come with me anyway" I look up at dad.
He frowns.
"Why do you have to leave?" I smile, getting up as Smokey runs back outside.
"She got a new job Seth and she's going away for a little fun with her friends. You should be happy that she isn't handling guns" I cringe
"I hate those" I mumble as the doorbell rings.
"That's Serena" I smile, and walk out of the kitchen. I open the door for her and smile.
"Hey girlfriend" she hugs me.
I laugh at her letting her in.
"Hi uncle Seth. Hi Auntie Gia" she shouts from the hall way.
"It's Angelina too you" dad shouts back.
She laughs, and then turns to me.
"Are you ready?" I nod at her.
"I have to check your suitcase, and make sure you haven't put that in" she points to my clothes.
"Hey! What's wrong with my clothes?" I look at the black pencil skirt, and white lace top.
"You look like a grandma Caitlin" I stick my tongue at her.
"Just because I'm older than you." She smiles holding my hand, and walking upstairs.
We walk into my room, and she turns to me.
"Ethan's coming" I gasp
"What? Are you serious?" She nods
"A few of his friends are coming as well" I frown at her.
"Serena! I'm going to tell uncle Dimitri" she gasps shaking her head
"No! Please. I'm not paying for him or anything. Please Caitlin! I thought I could trust you"she pouts at me.
Mom always says she's exactly like her mom. She said auntie Kara always pouted at moments when she couldn't get her way. Serena is the same.
"Fine. I have to tell my mom though. I thought it was only you and me?" I raise my eyebrow
"Yeah, but you know how I like Ethan, and he asked if I had any plans for Summer holidays. So I said yes, and I told him I'm going to Hawaii. He said if he can come, and I can't say no to that boy. He's so adorable" she sighs dreamily
I groan.
"Fine." She smiles at me.
"Oh. And you can't bring Smokey? Because Ethan's allergic to dogs" I gasp
"How can anyone be allergic to dogs?" She shrugs
"We can come back for him then, later, when we come back." I frown
"I'm- a 23 years old women, is going to spend her time with high schoolers?" She smiles
"You're the best!" She hugs me tightly.
"Yeah I know. I'm always the best" she giggles
"Now let's rearrange your suitcase " she claps her hands, waking to my black suitcase in the corner.
"We're only going for 2 weeks" I say and she nods, placing it on my bed.
"2 weeks, of meeting hot boys for you" I roll my eyes walking out of the room, leaving her to sort my suitcase out.
The front door opens and Ryan walks inside with Lucas.
"Ryan!" I smile running downstairs. I hug him tightly.
"It's been so long since I've seen you" I let him go and look at him.
"I live 10 minutes away from you" I roll my eyes
"Hey Lucas" he smiles
"We're hear to talk to Angelina" he says and I nod pointing to the kitchen. They walk around me and walk to the kitchen.
Ryan is my favourite uncle. I have 20 uncles. I have no idea how but I do.
My dad said that they all lived together, but now, everyone's moved around. They all have their own houses now, with their own families.
I remember when we had to attend uncle Dimitri's dad's funeral, when I was small. Everyone was there.
His dad must have been well known.
Dad said something about him being a mafia. I don't believe that.
"Caitlin!" Serena calls from upstairs.
I shake my head, and run upstairs.
"I need to stay over tonight. I can't fix this nighmare in 20 minutes" she looks at my suitcase and then back at me.
"You're welcome too" I say and she smiles
"You're the best" she smiles, picking pencil skirts out of my suitcase, and throwing them on the floor.
I know I am.

"Shush" I whisper hearing something hit my window.
"Turn the lights on" Serena whispers
I shake my head.
"No. We just watched The Grudge. We're going to die. She's after us now" I whisper
"Are you serious?" Serena crawls to her bag. She pulls out a gun, and I close my eyes, moving to the corner, and not looking at it.
"It's just Adrian" she sighs.
I open my eyes,to see her, putting her gun, on the desk, and opening the window.
I get up slowly, and walk towards the window.
"What do you want?" Serena asks.
Adrian smiles at her.
"Hey." He smiles
"You scared us to say hey?" Serena gasps
"Shush. If my dad finds out that we stayed awake to midnight, he'll kill us" I mumble at her.
"Is there something wrong Adrian?" I ask
"No. I just saw Serena in the room, I mean, I saw you, so I wanted to say hi." He says and I nod
"Right. Well you say bye now. We're leaving tomorrow" I say
"Are you leaving as well?" He looks at Serena and she nods.
"I'm going to sleep" Serena walks away.
"Caitlin!" He whispers to me.
I look at him confused.
"Can I please come? I can be ready for morning, any time." I smile
"Okay. You can come, it'll make dad a little more happy" he nods waving at me, and closing his window.
Dad trusts Adrian with me. He asked Adrian if he can come with me before, just to look after me, but Adrian said he can't. Now dad will be happy.
Tomorrow we're going to Hawaii.
I'm going to miss Smokey.
