Ro's POV
I came home from work every afternoon for months, wondering where Dan was.
Once I picked up the boys I came home and started making dinner, not expecting Dan until then.
Today was different.
I cut an hour early and picked the boys up.
We quickly got ice cream and headed home.
As I drove into the driveway, I noticed that Dan's car was there.
That's unusual, usually he had football or some other commitment.
Maybe he cut like I did.
"Cmon Lukas lets go watch a movie.
I unbuckle him from the car and grab Toby from his car seat.
He was already asleep.
I unlocked the front door and made way for Lukas to go in.
He was dying to do this with me all week.
I ran into Dan almost straight away.
"Hey, how come your home so early?"
He asks almost straight away.
"I could ask the same question"
I folded my arms against my chest.
I knew something wasn't right.
Something didn't seam right.
"Would you answer my question?!"
He was starting to get cranky.
"Well if you really wanted to know, I did it so I could spend time with our sons!"
I was getting agitated.
I walk into the kitchen dropping my bags on the counter.
"Now will you answer my question!?"
I asked as I started to unpack the bags ahead of me.
"I wasn't doing anything"
It was a lie.
I walked up to him and looked him straight in the eyes with my hands folded around my waist.
"Tell me where you were then?"
He looked away immediately.
I sighed and continued to place the contents in the bags on the counter.
Suddenly Toby starts to cry.
"Can you get him?"
I ask, my tone wasn't probably the nicest.
But I had a hard day at work.
"No he is your baby, you get him!"
He spits.
"What did you just say?"
I glared at him.
"He -is -your -baby, do you want me to make that any clearer"
He spits.
"Well he is your son to"
I placed my hands on the bench.
"No he isn't, my son is Lukas"
He yells at me.
"Well you treat him like he is yours!"
I yell back.
I couldn't believe that we were fighting.
After everything we've been through, it was like he just gave up on us.
"Only because Lukas loves him!"
I couldn't believe this.
"So you don't love him!"
I was shocked and angry.
How could he?
"No I f****** don't! I only love my son!"
Now that one did hurt.
"Than if you only love your son, why are you still with me?!"
I wanted answers.
"Because Alex and I made a f****** bet!"
He betrayed me!
"Get out of my house Dan, I never want to see you again"
I really hated what had just happened, but if he didn't love my family than he needs to go.
"Gladly your highness "
He bows at me and walks away.
"Lukas, we are going bring some toys and I'll get some clothes!"
I hear him yell from the lounge room.
"Shut that f****** baby up!"
He yells.
I could tell he was directing it at me.
I waited till I could hear the slam of the front door to race towards Toby.
He was laying in his crib, crying.
I carried him over and we both sat in the rocking chair.
Crying our eyes out, we were never loved by him, that had hurt me.
"Bell, I need you"
I said into the voicemail.
After months of being together, he finally showed me his bad side.
He showed me the side Alex trained him to be.
He taught him how to be a monster.
I placed my phone next to me on the table and began to rock back in forth.
Hopping that Toby would go to sleep.
Hoping that the pain would go away.

Yes short chapter now, only because next chapter I'm excited for.
Anyways, this was a few months after Mike and Bell got back together, so hope you all understand.
Don't you like the cool effects of lightning and thunder.
I could stare at them forever if I had a choice.
