"Okay! Okay! Rico, stop. I'm sorry." I laughed, squirming under him.
Rico is my best friend.
He was holding me down, tickling me because I hit him.
"Give me a kiss, first." He says.
"Eww, no."
He shrugged. "Well, my answer is no." I felt like I was going to pee on myself.
"Okay..." He stopped and looked at me, questioningly. I leaned up, kissing him on the cheek.
"You didn't say where." I smirked. Looking at the time, "Time to go."

"Nigga, you didn't know that was her in the club?" I asked.
"It was packed as hell. How was I gone spot one person out of the bunch." Vonte' dumb ass, says.
"Mane..."
"So, wassup with you and her?"
"Man..Ion even know. I haven't talk to her in two weeks. She haven't been answering my calls or text. I'm not about to chase no female" I tell him.
"All I can is, you need to talk to her. Shit happened."
"How if she won't answer my calls?"
"Sprung ass." He mumbled. "Damn, give me time. She at her friend Bria house..." He told me where she stay.
"Iight. I'm finna shoot out." I tell him giving 'em dap.
"Hold up, I gotta tell you some." He said, shaking his head.
"What?"
"Quan is back."
It can't be the same Quan from the old days.
"Our Quan?" He nodded. Shit.
"Iight. Thanks for letting me know, fam." I tell him.
"No problem."
D E M A R I E
I groaned. "Zaria, I will try. You know that woman erks my nerves."
I was referring to my so-called mother.
"De, come on. This is our little sister. She is going to want to see you." She plead.
"Ugh! Fine, but if that lady says anything wrong about me or my child, I'm going off." I tell her.
"Okay, okay. Come over at 3."
"Mhm. Bye." I say, hanging up as I hear knocking at the front door.
I stood up to go answer the door, but Bria beat me to it.
As I sat back down, she yells, "Demarie, it's for you!"
Who could it be? Walking to the door, I see...
