Dan walked with me into the familiar place of the interview room.
"Are you okay?"
He whispers into my ear.
"Peachy"
I say in a sarcastic manor.
When we get to the table, we both take a seat and wait for the famous Tim to come.
The 5 prisoners come into the room.
The 3rd one along was the person I was here to see.
Anger was building up in me.
I was ready to lash out at him.
"What a pleasure to see my little girl again"
Still has that stupid voice and ego.
"Tim, this is my boyfriend Dan"
I say quickly, not giving him any other detail.
The guards sit him down and chains him back up.
He doesn't even take a look at Dan.
Still the same rude person I see.
"I've been waiting for you to visit"
He finally says.
"Didn't think you deserved one after our last visit"
I said in a tired manor.
Dan squeezed my hand harder.
It was hard remembering what happened last time.
"You okay?"
Dan whispers into my ear.
"Yeah" I mouthed back at him.
"So what do you want me to tell you this time, should I ask Alex?"
I was ready to lash out at him but I composed myself before speaking to him.
"You'll be seeing him very soon Timmy dearest"
I turned to my b****y self.
Dan just sat there with a smug look on his face.
"Why isn't it daddy dearest anymore? Why is Alex joining me in hell?"
And I thought I had all the questions.
"Well because of this"
I stood up so he could see my stomach.
He gasped at what he saw.
"Nice one Alex!"
He silently cheered.
I sat back down thumping my hand on the table in front of us.
I have had enough!
"Tell me why you think that this is okay!? You aren't even my father, you are never going to be my father !"
I yelled at him.
He wasn't going to be human, so I was going to force myself to make him human.
Dan gripped my arm.
If he wasn't there I would have walked out.
"This is okay because you have always been a s*** and this boy here is just another one you'll be with, well until after you have that thing"
He was such a d******d.
"Now listen to me! She is not that, she is more than that. If you saw everything that she has been through, you would understand why she is keeping this baby! Where have you been when she was in hospital, in pain? Or when she was on the side of the road crying because of you, half dead because of the things Alex did to her? Where were you?"
Dan was starting to get mad.
"Simple I was here, the outside world doesn't affect me anymore, I'm going to die here anyways"
He said as sincerely as he could.
"I hope your body rots away in here"
I said with venom lingering on my tongue.
"You chose a feisty one there mate"
Tim had said to Dan.
"My problem not yours"
He said with a shrug.
"I'm changing my last name Tim"
I said at last.
"Why?"
He clenched his fists.
"Because you are not my father"
I didn't think that would come out as bland as it did.
"Do you really know who your father is?"
He was trying to twist my mind.
"Yes I do, and he's a better father than you, I also found my mother and sister"
I said with a straight face.
"What ,after they burnt every photo of you and forgot you from their lives?"
I moved closer to Dan, I could tell anger was building up in him to.
"That was your fault, even m-Karla knew that"
I gulped when I thought of her.
He started to laugh.
"Oh right Karla, she's six feet under now, no need to ask her now, I wonder what her answer would be but"
He sniggered.
He was such a child.
"Goodbye Tim, this is our last visit, you were such a horrible father to me. I'm glad that Karla left this world, she is now somewhere in peace and security"
I said as I got up and started to walk away.
"That's the other side of hell"
He yelled back.
"A place you'll never go"
Dan said as he walked away from the monster.
My eyes felt like they were going to cry.
We got outside when the waterworks started.
"Hey, hey, Sh it's alright"
Dan comforted me.
I wiped my tears away.
"Dan I love you"
I whispered.
"I love you to my darling Ro"
He placed his chin on my head and hugged me.
"I'm scared you know"
I tried to sound audible.
"I know, I'm here for our family, you know that, I'll never have a family like his"
I looked up and smiled at him.
The compassion he has for us, it makes me so happy.
"We better start shopping then"
I said as I turned to walk to the car.
"Let's get shopping"
I know how much he hates shopping, I am just happy that he agreed to come.
It means so much to me.
As much as keeping the monster in hell.

I said as we exited the gates of the jail.
