Misunderstanding
Innocence scrawled out on my blindfold,
"Unfair" whispered from within.
Two subjective perceptions of the objective;
Two dreams disguised as reality.
Eyes glazed over with self-assurance
you're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong.
and now I'm sorry.
Excuses emerge from hidden willful blindness,
Searching for the core - where misunderstanding sits;
Two mouths moving, saying nothing.
Four eyes staring at the same painting, seeing different images.
Two hearts so submerged in cement that they've forgotten to beat.
The poisonous fog clears and drips onto our worlds melting all that we've built, but instead of taking everything, it's wakening us up
Faith POV: -
My blood went cold after hearing that. "He wants you Faith" I screamed in my mind, but that's a lie I kept saying to myself. I think I should go with my mind because my hearts feelings have ruined my life once; I won't let that happen this time. I was numb in my place recalling the 'I want you thing'.
Just then Samuel came and stood behind me
"Sir would you like her to strip for you," said Samuel my inner goddess was shouting at Samuel, No! F***ing way I am going to strip for him. As my mind was busy hammering Samuel and I probably killed him ten times by now in my mind for saying this.
"Umm sure, I'd like it after all it's been a long time I haven't," Said Adolfo but stopped from completing and smirked at me.
"Sure sir would you like a private show just for yourself or is it okay over here," asked Samuel
"Over here would be much better I'm sure my capos would love some good entertainment," said Adolfo looking at Samuel.
Samuel nodded and turned towards me. I gave him the ordered drink list and went backstage without looking or listening to what Samuel wants to say. I turned back to give a look at them when he's third associate came back and joined him saying something in his ear.
I was getting ready for getting strip danced on the stage. I removed my skirt from the top of my corset I wore a black net T-shirt that dropped till my thighs. I let my hair down and got up turned back and started walking out towards the stage gathering all my courage walking like a queen or walking like I don't care who the king is over here.
I climbed on the stage and grabbed the pole I heard one of his men saying "last Time I saw a girl like that was in Victoria secret fashion show" he was blonde
I started dancing slowly, swinging my hips in a seductive way.
I fixed my eyes on Adolfo and his was fixed on me while stripping slowly removing my T-shirt there was no lust in his eyes there was something different, something that I should stay away from. I was doing my flips and moves slowly when I saw Samuel in the corner of the club signaling me to move toward Adolfo telling me to touch him... I knitted my eyebrows slowly nodded NO like in a dance move he crossed his arms and gave me an angry look that said no dinner tonight then.
Damn, I have to do this, I was only in my corset, I bend down and got on my knees started crawling slowly towards him looking in his eyes and never leaving it. When I reached near him as I was about to put my hands on his lap, he stopped me by holding my both the hands with his strong grip
He slowly came near to my face never leaving the eye contact he's grip was strong, it was paining, the grip is definitely going to leave some marks.
His face was inches away from my face when he said
"Stop it, that's enough"
He left my hands roughly giving it a harsh push. I looked down suddenly feeling ashamed of myself I got up.
"Let's go meet the owner," Adolfo said looking at his men.
I wonder he's not going complain about me to him. Wait, I didn't do anything wrong. I turned back and started walking back towards the green room.
I was breathing heavily, even after so many years he's giving me a breathing problem. I sat on the chair laid my head back and tried to calm myself.
Something is wrong that's what my guts said. Many things were running in my mind all from the past, our past. What is he doing here? He still doesn't know what exactly happened in the past. Does he know now? Or did he just find me and going to do the same what he used to do in the past. And I was scared of that now. Is he here for a reason? He's now holding his mob, he's a leader and that's dangerous I thought I should be carefully
Adolfo's POV: -
I was walking with my men's through a narrow passage that was leading us to the owner's office of this club; a guy named Samuel was leading us. We came to a halt at a big wooden door he opened it for us to get in, we entered in
"Sir, Mr. Adolfo Agostino is here," said Samuel.
The office was filthy like it had not been cleaned up for years. There was a naked girl lying on the couch on his left side. He's back was facing towards me standing behind his table near the window looking out wearing a suit with his hands in his pocket he turned towards us. He definitely must be in his fifties. He smiled and sat on his chair waved at us to sit. I came forward took a chair and sat laying back a little getting comfortable, comforting myself like it's my club which made the owner nervous.
He sat straight fixing he's a suite.
"So, how can I help you, sir," said the owner.
"You must be Thomas right?" I said in my arrogant and attitude tone.
"Yes sir," he said in an intimidated tone.
"First of all, you can't help me it looks like you need my help and your club too," I said.
"I'm here to make a proposition, a good one, which you can't deny". I said crossing my arms and making the atmosphere firm and serious
"I'd like to hear it," said Thomas
" I'm ready to give you 500k $ every month for your club and also like to get into a partnership with you, you can take whatever decisions you want for the club, giving capital to the club will be in my hand, even the security," I said
"And what do you want in return," said Thomas.
I smiled at him. And said
"Only two things, first the goodwill and the 3/4 part of the profit, and second the girl named Faith, I want her"
Thomas gave confused look at Samuel, and then he looked at me
"Why that girl?" he asked
Cedric came forward and kept a bag on the table and opened it to reveal the bag to be full of money "Take it, its five million, for that girl" Said, Cedric
Thomas again looked at Samuel and signaled him to take the bag, Samuel was in shock he said "Sir, but she's our best girl"
"And now she's going to be my best girl," I said in sarcasm.
"Take it Samuel, and get the girl ready and tell her she's been taken," said Thomas.
I got up ignoring Samuel to shake our hand I turned back and ordered Max to go with Samuel and to get Faith.
Faith POV: -
I went back to my room, unable to believe today's encounter. I was on my dressing table removing my make up when I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened the door to see Samuel standing with his head down he was sad, he was not alone there was a man he must be in his twenties maybe, he was kind of handsome with crystal blue eye's he gave me small smile.
I looked back at Samuel. "I'm not a prostitute," I said to Samuel because that was the first thought that came in my mind because Samuel has never brought men or a guy outside my room door. I thought he brought a customer, he looked sad when he said
"He's not a customer, but his here to take you, from here forever," said Samuel.
I knitted my eyebrows in confusion about what he was saying.
"Thomas sold you to Adolfo Agostino for five million," said Samuel. I went shocked, this is a nightmare, and this is not true. I looked back at that stranger now I remember he's one of his men, he probably here to take me. I was terrified of what was happening now.
"That can't happen," I said going short on my breaths, suddenly started shivering. My chest was suddenly paining in fear I couldn't breathe.
"You're taken," said that stranger standing behind Samuel.
