aquarius and leo: the foreign language and the mother tongue
how is it that, almost right away, one can feel that one has known a leo forever? leos possess a natural ability to make people love them and understand them, perhaps because they are relatively traditional. aquarius is a completely different story. it would take more than a lifetime to truly know an aquarius, if the task could be completed at all. with leo and aquarius, there is a distinct tension, but there is also a deep and amazing capacity for both signs to become their best selves together. leo, who may be used to being loved by everyone, does well to find themselves in a bit more of a challenge, just as aquarius must work harder than usual to show that they appreciate their leo. the aquarius teaches the leo to appreciate distance and independence; the leo teaches the aquarius to give up the game and really love. it is certainly difficult for both parties to come to the point where they can appreciate each other, but once they’re there, they will create something beyond love.
