You were the one that let me sit on your knee,
The one that is always there for me.
The one thats face always makes me smile,
I miss you when your gone for a short while.
You were the one that brought me my bike,
you held me steady on the small trike.
You were the one that let me stand on your toes,
so that we could dance real slow.
You were the one that helped with my math,
and the one that disiplined me with rath.
You were the one that let me ruin your shirt,
when my tears would constantly spirt.
You were the one to move over in bed,
when i needed somewhere to rest my head.
You were the one that taught me to do my best,
to never give up even in life test.
You told me i could be anything i want too,
Then i insisted i will forever be near you.
You made me promise i wouldent date till your dead,
i think i'll wait till thirty instead.
You were the one that taught me to fish,
how to throw a right hook, and prepare a dish.
You were the one that taught me table manners,
showed me right and wrong, and how to work spanners.
And your still here teaching me things,
helping me jump the hurdles life brings.
Bringing me up when i feel low,
and embarresing me till my blushes show.
You'd still always protect me form abadie,
