Everyone I'm sorry I haven't updated. I have no excuse as to why, if you want another chapter you're probably going to have to bug me about it because I'm lazy as heck.
Draco and Harry were outside by the lake past curfew, making good use of Harry's Invisibility Cloak. They had only gotten there minutes before, staying in complete silence, before Harry gives in (which Draco is pleased about, it having been a contest to him) and says something.
"Are we dating now, Malfoy?" The boys had slowly grown closer as fifth year progressed, and shared their first kiss a week before. They had both meant to talk about it before, but they got...distracted.
"Well, yes, I believe that is the word for this, Potter," Draco says, intertwining their fingers and bringing Harry's palm to his lips and kissing it lightly. "But, I do have some ground rules."
Harry almost laughed. Those will last long, he thought. He leans over, trailing kisses over his jaw and up his cheek. "And what are those?"
"For one, nothing is going to change." Harry hums in mock agreement against his temple before kissing back down along his cheek and nudging his nose into his hair.
"We're still going to pretend we absolutely hate each other," he says, tilting his head so Harry can kiss him wherever he likes without the constraint of his head in the way.
Harry nuzzles his neck and leans up to nip his ear before saying, "Yup," and continuing his work.
"Just because we are exclusive to each other does not mean that I'm giving you preferential treatment." His words are breathy and hollow, making it more than obvious that he doesn't mean anything he says.
Harry kisses his jaw, paying special attention to the spot that he knows turns Draco to goo. "Of course, babe."
"You need to keep at least a three foot radius from me at all times," he says. Harry scoots back, way too far for Draco's liking, an entirely too mischievous smirk on his face.
"Like this?" He says. Draco's face contorts into a look of pure discontent.
"What? No. What are you doing? Get back here and keep kissing me."
Harry moves closer again and kisses Draco's lips. The two boys broke apart a few minutes later to the sound of a meow. They look up and see Mrs. Norris stalking towards them, and quickly stand and make their way to the school. Harry walks Draco to the dungeons, kissing him before he goes in to his common room. Both boys fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
