Symphony's POV
Everyone was pretty boomed to be going leaving the beautiful beach house and returning to the cold weather. Candy didn't want to leave, she didn't even pack. NaTasha had to pack her things while Lane held her down on the bed. I stayed on the couch with my bags aside, waiting for the others to finished and my phone ranged
"Is this Symphony Bannister?", someone asked
"Yes, this is she", I replied frowning
"My name is Carl Jennings, I'm the pilot that will be flying your jet", the man spoke and I nodded "I have some rather unfortunately news for you"
"Please tell me that you can fly us back home", I whined and he sighed
"Unfortunately, the weather isn't like Hawaii's, so you'll have to stay until it clears", he stated and I groaned "I apologize Ms. Bannister, but I don't think you'll be making home this Christmas"
"Okay, thank you Mr. Jennings", I said "please call me for any updates"
"Of course, enjoy your holiday"
"Same to you". I hung up the phone and took a deep breath
"I DON'T WANNA GOOOOO!", Candy yelled and cried as Lane dragged her into the living room
"Well this is your lucky day Candy", I replied and everyone looked at me, confused "the jet is stuck back home. The weather is terrible and they won't be able to get us.... The pilot, Mr. Jennings, doesn't know when the weather will let up. So we might have to spend our Christmas here......"
"YES!", Candy cheered throwing her arms up and everyone glared at her
"Mom said this would happen", NaTasha sighed shaking her head
"I'm sorry you guys", I said leaning my head back
"It's okay Symphony, you can't control the weather", Jeremiah gave me a reassuring smile and I nodded "I guess it's good idea to call our parents and tell them". Everyone was suddenly in a gloomy mood and although Jeremiah said it wasn't my fault, it felt like it was. I especially felt guilty towards Dalton, his mom is better and I knew he'd wanted to go home to her.
"Wait!", Candy yelled and everyone froze in their spots "I know this may sound like sucky news, but god forbid if we can't make it home for Christmas, let's have a awesome one here! We could have a secret Santa, buy some gifts for our families, decorate this place, and make Christmas cookies"
"You are being too cheery right now", Lane smirked sarcastically and she glared at him "I agree with her though, although we can't go home we this doesn't have to be a depressing Christmas"
"What do ya say Leader?", Candy asked me and I smiled
"Since when was I group leader?"
"This is your beach house", NaTasha stated
"And you did organized this trip", David added and stood
"Well then, I suggest we get unpacked and get some Christmas essentials", I announced and Candy screamed "okay Pterodactyl". Candy grabbed her bags and hurried back to her room, they others did the same. I looked towards the kitchen seeing Dalton pacing back and forth on the phone
"Yeah", he sighed leaning against the island "I'm really sorry, I know you and Nana wanted to spend this Christmas with me. I'll call you if the weather changes..... I love you too bye"
"Hey", I greeted the gloomy boy and he gave me a small smile "sorry you can't-"
"It's fine Doll", he whispered putting the phone in his pocket and I smiled a bit hearing my old nickname "well since this is going to be my first Christmas in a very long time.... Might as well make the best of it"
"Let's go people!", Candy called marching through the house "to the nearest mall".

"Okay what to get first?", Tasha asked looking around the mall and I shrugged
"Oh wait! NaTasha paper and pen", Candy said holding out her hand, Tasha rolled her eyes and gave her sister the paper and pen. Candy ripped the paper into little pieces, wrote something on them and folded them
"David, your hat", she finally spoke and David frowned
"This is my favorite hat", he pouted
"You look like a fuckboy with it on, besides I'm only using it for a sec", she pointed out and we laughed "everyone pick a name"
"For what?", Lane asked raising a brow
"Secret Santa smart one", she said and he glared at her "girls pick the ones that have the B on it and boys pick the ones that have a G on it"
"Why-"
"Because I came up with the idea of having a Secret Santa so I make the rules", Candy interrupted Lane while glaring at him "Ladies first". I kind of hoped to get Dalton, but instead I got Jeremiah
"Who did you get?", I asked the girls and we showed each other paper. Tasha had Dalton, Riley got Lane, and Candy got David
"Okay, we'll go Santa shopping after we buy decorations and cookies". (Bare with me folks, I don't know if Hawaii has a Walmart, Target, or a Party City like NYC does. In this story it does)
Candy went straight to Party City with Lane to get Christmas socks and hats. NaTasha and Jeremiah went to Walmart to get candy and hopefully find some cookies. David and Riley tagged along with Dalton and I to Target for Christmas decorations
"You're more quiet than I imagined", Riley commented as we walked through the aisle, the boys were wandered off somewhere "don't take this the wrong way, but I'd thought you'd be more- um"
"Loud? Social?", I suggested smiling, she nodded and chuckled "that job is already taken by Candy"
"Yeah, I was wonder is Candy her real name?", she asked raising a brow and I shook my head
"She doesn't really like her real name", I replied and she nodded "so are you and David dating? Isn't he a handful?"
"I think the correct term is 'child' and yes, he acts like one, all the time", she joked and we laughed "he is sweet though"
"Really?"
"Yeah, he may show this macho cover up at school, but he's actually the opposite", she stated blushing and I smiled "my dad doesn't like him much though, that's why I'm happy to be on this vacation. I get to have some alone time with him....."
"I'm glad to be some help", I breathed and she nodded "so reindeers or snowman?"
"Why not both?", Dalton asked coming towards us with David
"We don't have snow here, so no snowman", I answered, he nodded and placed the sodas in the cart
"Someone's not in the Christmas mood", David teased placing s'mores ingredients into the cart "get both Symphony"
"They don't match", I sighed and Dalton took the decorations from my hands then dumped them into the cart
"Stop being a perfectionist Doll and have some fun", he chuckled and I glared at him "come on, I saw some Christmas mugs around here"
"Fine", I whined following my overly jolly friends. We continued getting decorations such as lights, little scented candles, and table cloths then paid for it
"Symphony!", we heard Candy call as we exit the store "we need a tree"
"Riiigght", I nodded "okay, I know a place, come on". As they followed, Tasha and Jeremiah joined us
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen! How may I help you?"
"Looking for a tree", I answered nonchalantly and the worker noticed my expression
"Well take a look around, hope you find your tree"
"Wow, you really are the Grinch", Dalton joked and I glared at him
"You expect me to smile with these bags piercing my arms", I grumbled as everyone scattered to look for the perfect tree
"Let me", he replied and before I can protest he took my heavy bags
"Thank you...", I said and he smiled
"Your welcome, come on, let's find these kids", he joked and I followed him through the aisle of trees.
Aaachooo! Damn these allergies! Aaacho!
"Bless you", Dalton chuckled
"It's not funny!"
"No, it's not.... But you have the cutest sneeze ever", he commented and I blushed
"Hey! We found one!", David called and we went over to them "what do ya think?"
"Can we fit that on the truck?", I asked and sneezed again
"Bless you", everyone said and I thanked them
"Do you have allergies to pine trees?", Jeremiah asked and I nodded
"You sure you want to get a real tree then?", Dalton spoke with a worried expression and I nodded again
"I just need to go to the pharmacy and get my allergy medicine then I'll be alright", I explained and sneezed again "I think the tree is perfect, just how are we gonna fit that on top of the truck?"
"Excuse me!", Candy called one of the employees "can this fit on a regular truck?"
"Yeah, if it's strapped correctly", he nodded "just bring your car around back so it'll be more easy"
"Okay, we'll take this one", she nodded then turned to the guys "can you guys take all of our bags to the truck then bring around back. Symphony you can go to the pharmacy with Dalton then we'll start shopping for presents"
"Look at you taking charge", Lane smirked and she stuck her tongue out at him "come on guys"
"Alright, come on Sneezy", Dalton spoke handing his bags to the guys and I gave the credit card to Candy. We exit the store and down the escalator, looking for the pharmacy
"How bad is your allergy?", Dalton asked as we entered the pharmacy
"Just some sneezes and hives here and there", I answered with a shrugged and he brows raised "nothing serious"
"Nothing serious?! Come on", Dalton scoffed taking my hand and dragged me to the counter
"How may I help you?"
"Allergy medicine please, under the name Bannister", I replied to the behind the counter doctor "excuse his expression"
"You said it so nonchalantly like you don't mind getting hives", Dalton stated leaning against the counter as I gave my ID to the doctor
"I do mind, but it's not that serious Dawny", I replied and and felt my face heat up- did I just use his nickname?.... Yes, yes you did...
"It is serious if it becomes too severe Doll", he sighed and I rolled my eyes "I'm just concerned"
"Thank you for caring about me, but always take my medicine when it is needed", I replied smiling at him and he nodded "it never gets too severe"
"Here you go Ms. Bannister", the doctor said returning with my ID and the paper bag with my medicine in it "have a nice day"
"Thank you and you too".
Time skip, brought to you by everyone waiting for Symphony and Dalton to kiss XD..................
"Is it leaning?", David groaned as he, Jeremiah and Lane tried to place the tree up
"A little to the left", Dalton and I said, they nodded moved it to the right "yeah, good"
"I'll get the broom to sweep up", Riley said walking back to the kitchen, where Tasha and Jeremiah made lunch. Candy was nearby unpacking the tree decorations
"So what do you want to put on first?", she asked smiling
"Tree skirt, lights, the ornaments, the icing-"
"Icing? Why are we outing icing on a tree?", David asked scratching his head
"She means this babe", Riley replied holding up the package of silver stings
"Oh, I've never seen it", David commented and Candy chuckled
"What about the star?", Lane asked and Candy eyes grew wide- she forgot...
"I have a dozen of them so don't worry"
"Do you collect them or something?", Dalton questioned and he helped Lane put the tree skirt on, Riley silently returning and sweeping
"No, I made them", I answered "hard plastic, metal, rubber, or paper"
"Benefits of having a creative dad", Candy commented and I nodded "give us the best one"
"You don't deserve the best one", I teased smirking and the guys chuckled
"Lunch is almost ready", Jeremiah called from the kitchen and Candy pouted
"We can start and finish after lunch", Lane said and she nodded holding up one of the ornaments to me
"Owner of the house", Candy spoke and I rolled my eyes but took the gold ornament. I looked at the tree, picking a branch to put it on
"Any day now Doll", Dalton spoke smirking and I glared at him, before putting it on a random branch
"Wow, looks great you guys", Jeremiah chuckled coming out the kitchen with an apron on, we glared at him
"We just started Betty Crocker", David replied, we chuckled as he glared at David the fled back to the kitchen
"Lunch is ready", he yelled and we could hear Tasha teasing him and laughing.
Welp, looks like this bad news, was good news.
