SADÉ
I woke up to an unfamiliar scene, white bed sheets, white curtains with silver linings and a bedazzled pillow. I looked next to me to find no one. "So it was all a fucking dream?! But what am I doing here and whose hotel room is this anyway?" I mumbled to myself.
"Morning sleepyhead." I heard a familiar voice say.
"Robyn, is that you?" I asked while rubbing my eyes to get a clear view of the figure in front of me.
"Well duh! Who else did you think it was dummy?!"
"Uh! Don't call me a dummy, besides I didn't know what to think it's not everyday I get to wake up in the bed of a superstar."I threw a pillow at her and she caught it while laughing.
"First of all, this is not my bed, it's the hotel's and secondly GETTT UP AND LET'S GO HAVE BREEEAAAKFAST!" she said singing the last part of her sentence.
"I love your voice. Did you know that?" I said biting my lip and getting out of bed.
"And I love your morning voice." She said fixing her hair into a ponytail.
"What do you mean? My voice is always this raspy morning or night"
"True, but it sounds sexier in the morning," she winked.
"So what did you order for breakfast?" I asked licking my lips to emphasise my hunger.
"Eggs Benedict, is that okay?"
"Yeah, whatever is okay with you is okay with me babes." I leaned over and brought her face closer to me and gave her a kiss. Her lips were my new favourite drug. "So, like what have you planned for today?"
"Uhm, two interviews and then I'm yours for the rest of the day" she replied obviously irritated from the stop of the kissing session.
"Awesome, Robyn have you ever been to a zoo?" I asked her while thinking hard.
"Oh so whenever a person from the States visits Africa you think that the first thing they want to see is a lion?" she challenged.
I let out a chuckle ," Well, yeah."
"OHMYGOD THAT'S GENIUS! I WOULD DEFINITELY LIKE TO GO TO THE ZOO!"
"Alright wait here I need to make a phone call." I walked back to my room and retrieved my phone.
"Hello, Hi this is Sadé Ross can I please speak to Lindana Ross? Okay I'll hold".
"Hello,Sade?"
"Mama?"
" Ah what do you want? I haven't heard from you ever since that day I had to drive you to the airport, how are you doing child?" she said sounding excited to hear my voice.
"Hi mama, I'm doing fantastic, I need a favour from you mommy dearest." I replied in a baby voice hoping it will increase my chances of getting what I want.
" What is it you need this time?"
"I need you to contact Mrs Shane from Johannesburg Zoo and tell her to get the animals ready because I'm bringing a very important celebrity to come visit the animals. I need it to be very low-key mama." I said trying to be very assertive but also trying not to piss her off.
"Oh uh huh! I'll see what I can do. Uhm Sade is this special celebrity by any chance Rihanna? Look child I'd seen how she looked at you at the airport the other day and I just want you to know that I ship it," I could hear her snickering through the phone.
"Ahahahaha you funny mama, you know that?! But yes I am bringing Rihanna and I ship it too," at that exact moment Rihanna walked into the room.
"I knew it, but baby be careful okay? Celebrity or not, girl or not, be careful" her voice had an protective tone to it.
"Okay mama, I will be," I looked at Rihanna and smiled thinking about what has happened in the last 24 hours.
"Alright let me get to calling Mrs Shane, love you and see ya soon"
"Bye mama see ya soon!"

After letting her change into her 'zoo clothes', we drove over to my house and she waited for me to change into mine. " Babe, do you want to go with me to my interviews or should I leave and come back later before we go to the zoo?" I heard her say from the kitchen whilst I was doing my hair in the bathroom.
"Uh interviews are not my hype so I think it's better if you leave and come back".
She comes into the bathroom and kissed me on the cheek and then with her forehead to mine she replied, "Okay I'll be leaving now, I love you."

"What did you say?" She playfully punched my arm.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding hahahahahaha I love you TOO!" and with that she left for her interviews. I walked to the tv room and turned the tv on and Madeas Big Happy Family was on and I decided to watch it. But I was also preoccupied with the three major words Rihanna and I exchanged with no hesitation. I was without a doubt in love with the singer.
Three Tyler Perry movies later I heard Rihanna enter "Hey you ready to go?"
"I was born ready," I replied excitedly and moving from the couch to grab my things.
"You were born ready to go to the zoo? You are a weird girl Sadé Ross."
"And that's why you love me" I said mockingly.
We arrive at Johannesburg Zoo at 13:10 and we are greeted by an elderly woman I knew all too well. She helped me with a lot of issues I was dealing with when I was younger.
" Sadé!! I haven't seen you in like forever!"
"Mrs Shane me too!" I gave the woman a huge hug.
"Well who do we have here?" she said looking at Robyn.
"Well I'm Rihanna" she said while hugging Mrs Shane.
"Oh pish posh child I know who you are! You're Robyn Fucking Fenty!" the older woman feigned a sassy attitude.
"Mrs Shane..you know Rihanna?!" I asked her shockingly but also amused.
"How can I not? You used to wear a t-shirt that said I'm Rihanna's Bitch everyday when you were still volunteering here and you used to sing her songs every time!"
" Mrsss Shannne..." I said urging her not to say more, then I saw Rihanna smirking, "What exactly is amusing you babes?"
"She is so cute and the things she says you do are even cuter" Rihanna said pinching my cheeks and causing a blush to form.
"Okay ladies so which animal would you like to see first?" Mrs Shane said interrupting Rihanna and I's moment.
"I want to see a Simba"
"You mean a lion cub, Robyn" I said rolling my eyes at her childish nature.
"Yeah but we all know calling it Simba is more fun!" she stuck her tongue out before following Mrs Shane to the lion enclosure.
We went and saw a lion cub and Rihanna took a few shots with willing animals, we also visited giraffes and many other animals. Finally, it was time to go and I was beyond exhausted. We said our goodbye to the lovely staff that helped our trip go smoothly.
In the car, I was very close to just closing my eyes and taking a nap until I heard Rihanna clearing her throat "Sadé so like tomorrow I'm headed to Cape Town for a concert and I was wondering if you would like to join me for the rest of my tour," she looked nervous for some reason and I just figured that for a second she had forgotten that she is freaking Rihanna.
"For the rest of your tour? Wow! That sounds great but I'm not sure if I can do it. What about your fans? What about management?" I tried to avoid looking into Robyn's eyes.
"Pleease Sadé, none of that will matter without you there by my side." Rihanna pleaded and held my hands in an attempt to maintain eye contact.
"Okay let's do this, you go think about it while you pack and if it doesn't feel right you can back down, Okay?"
"Okay it's worth a shot I guess." We finally arrived at my house and I got out of the car.
"My flight leaves at 08:45am, call me before then alright?"
"Alright, goodnight Robyn." I leaned in to give her a small kiss before I left.
"I will surely miss those lips if you turn down my offer. Goodnight Sadé."
Back at my house, I began to look for all the suitcases I had in my disposal. I transported all of the clothes I had from the closet to the suitcases and packed according to outfits. Once I was done, I threw myself onto the bed and immediately my mind went into overdrive. My mental debate is interrupted by a text which read:
Baby 💝: I love you Sade. I know I'm asking a lot from you but I need you more than you know. I can't promise a perfect relationship but I can promise you my love so please Sade, come with me, I love you Robyn xx 😍
I immediately replied "pick me up at 07:00am ❤️" and with that I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
