I will be using her OC, Tamura Miho for this! By the way, in this story I won't be putting Taiyou in the hospital. Pretend he never got a sickness in this story. So I guess this is kind of an au (alternate universe). Okay, let's get on to the story now :)

When you are 5 years old
Tamura's POV
"Okaa-san, can I go and play soccer for a while?"
"Have you done your homework?"
I pouted a little. "I promise I'll finish it when I come back. Please, Okaa-san?" I gave her puppy eyes. She rolled her eyes. "Alright alright." I smiled triumphantly. "Arigatou okaa-san! I'll be back in an hour. Bye!!" I hugged her and grabbed my soccer ball as I ran out of the house. "Be careful..!" I heard my okaa-san shouting after me. "I will!" I replied.
Timeskip to when you reach the soccer field.
"Finally!" I looked around. Thank goodness nobody else is around. I have always liked to be alone and play by myself. It's not that I'm introverted, it's just that I like the peace and quiet I get when there's no one else around.
I started kicking the ball into the goal. I imagined playing in a match with spectators and an announcer. "Aaand Tamura scores again!" I whispered to myself as I pretended to make cheering sounds. You could say I was really into soccer and hoped to play in a team someday. As I was practising alone, I accidentally kicked it too high and far that it rolled onto a road. I ran to pick it up, not really considering the fact that there was a car approaching me. I looked up as I grabbed my ball. I could hear the car screeching in an attempt to stop before it hit me. I wanted to run away but I was frozen in shock. This is going to be the end... Before the car could hit me, someone grabbed my arm and pulled me to safety. "Are you okay?" I heard a concerned voice asking me. I was so stunned I was shaking. Then, I started crying. I almost died. The person tried to comfort me by hugging me, rubbing my back. "It's okay, I'm here." I could feel sobs racking my body. Whenever I let out a broken sob, the person would hug me tighter. After calming down, I sniffed and looked up, seeing a orange haired boy with dull blue eyes looking at me worriedly. "I-I'm really sorry. Did you get hurt?" He shook his head. "How about you?" I shook my head too. "I'm fine." He looked at me with doubt. "Are you sure?" I nodded my head and said reassuringly, "Yeah." He picked up my ball. "Is this yours?" I took it from him, my hands still a little bit shaky. "Y-Yeah..."
"I like soccer too... Do you want me to play with you?" Right then, I was still shaken from the 'accident' and didn't want to be alone. "S-sure." I smiled feebly at him. "Thanks." He laughed a bit. "It's nothing."
As we walked back to the field, we introduced ourselves.
"I'm Tamura Miho. You can just call me Tamura."
"Alright. Hi Tamura! I'm Amemiya Taiyou. You can call me Taiyou since it's easier.." I nodded understandingly.
"Can I be the defender? I want to try to stop you from scoring!" I shouted excitedly, quickly forgetting about what happened earlier. "You can try." Taiyou smirked at me. I gave him a face. No matter how hard I tried, somehow Taiyou seemed to always be able to get past me. "H-How are you so good?" I panted as I lied on the grassy field. He sat down beside me. "I guess I was just born to play soccer." He gave me a cheeky smile. I rolled my eyes. "I'll stop you one day, Amemiya Taiyou." "Sure, sure you will." His voice was dripping with sarcasm. I looked at my watch and I almost screamed. "It's already 6?!" I jumped up. "I have to go! It was nice meeting you Taiyou. And thank you..." My voice became a whisper at the last sentence. "You're welcome." He smiled warmly at me. He frowned a little. "Are you sure you're okay? I can walk home with you if you want." For some reason, I blushed. That's weird. How come my face turned red? Did I eat something wrong in the morning?

I shrugged it off. "Nope, I'm fine. Really!" "Alright then! Bye Tamura!" I started running towards my house, hoping to not have to face an angry okaa-san.
Taiyou's POV
I watched the pink long haired girl run. "I hope to see you again..." I mumbled to no one in particular.
No one's POV
Since that day, Tamura and Taiyou always met up at the soccer field to play together. They became best friends and were inseperable.
One day while playing soccer ( you're 7 now )
Tamura's POV
"I'm going to get you!" I tried to block Taiyou but I failed.... for the millionth time. I tried to steal the ball from him but fell instead. I landed on my face. "Ouch." I winced in pain as I looked at my knees. They were bruised with scratches. I touched my right knee gingerly. It was bleeding. "Are you okay? Oh no. I'll carry you back to your house. You can't play liked this." I tried to protest by trying to stand up but I fell back onto the ground on my butt. I just huffed in defeat. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he carried me up. I rested my head on his chest as I felt his chest rise and fall. Just then, I noticed my heart was beating faster and I had butterflies in my stomach. What is this feeling? I feel giddy but kind of happy at the same time... Weird.
Taiyou's POV
I looked down at the small girl that I was carrying in my arms. I suddenly felt like I had to protect her no matter what. This is really weird. It's not like she's my sister or anything. Hmm...
Timeskip to when Tamura reaches her house
"I'm back okaa-san." She stood up from the sofa to greet me. She was surprised to see Taiyou carrying me. She was even more shocked to see my knees bleeding. "What did you do this time? I told you to be careful didn't I?" Taiyou put me down gently on the sofa and bowed to okaa-san. "Well I should be going. Bye Tamura." He smiled at me. I started feeling funny again. "Bye." After he was out of the house, my okaa-san looked at me worriedly. "Did you get hurt anywhere else?" I shook my head.
"You really have to be more careful next time." I looked down guiltily. "Okay okaa-san. I'm sorry." She sighed. "It's fine." She looked up at me. "Do you like him?"
I was confused. "Huh? Him?" Okaa-san looked at me with her eyebrows raised. "You don't know what I'm talking about?" I shook my head innocently. "Do you feel your heartbeat get faster when you're around Taiyou?" I blinked. "How did you know? Wait..." I looked at her with wide eyes. "Is it a disease?!" She started laughing really loudly. "What?" I really didn't know what was so funny about that. I should go to a hospital immediately! (A/n: Tamura you're so cute omg xD) After she calmed down, she explained to me the idea of 'love'. "My dear Tamura, you're perfectly healthy. You just have a thing for him." "A...thing? What's a thing?" She just smiled at me. "You'll find out when you're older."
Timeskip to when you're 13 and go to Raimon Junior High
Taiyou's POV
Where is that girl? Why is she always late. I tapped my foot impatiently on the ground as I looked at the house, waiting for a certain girl to come out.
Tamura's POV
"Where's my comb.... And my bag..." I was running frantically around my house, trying to get ready for school. I was already late. He must already be waiting for me. Finally I found my bag. Well, with okaa-san's help... And my comb turned out to be buried within my blanket. I briefly brushed through my long pink hair as I looked at myself in the mirror. "I look pretty descent..." I mumbled to myself.
"Tamura hurry up! Taiyou's already waiting outside for you." I put on my shoes and ran out. "Bye okaa-san! I'll see you later!" I ran towards a very impatient looking boy outside my house. "Typical Tamura. Always late." I rolled my eyes. "You don't know how hard it is when you're lazy (A/n: I know how it feels ><) We started walking to school together.
Timeskip to when you reach school
"Okay, well, see you during recess. I'm off to math class. Bye!" I waved at Taiyou as I watched him walk to his class. I took a deep breath and walked into English class. "Hey guys! It's Tamura!" A familiar brunette looked at me with a big smile on his face. "Hi!" I waved at him and his group of friends. "Ohayo minna." "Ohayo Tamura!" As I took my seat, the bell rang. Everyone else rushed back to their seats and started taking out their english notes.
Timeskip to recess
Tamura's POV
Finally! I can go and see Taiyou.
The thought of seeing him made me feel dizzy and funny inside. Over the years, the feeling inside of me had grown and grown. Now I finally know what it feels like to be in love.
Timeskip to when you guys are eating together
"So how was your day?"
Taiyou laughed.
"Science was sooooo boring."
"Come on science can be really interesting if you look at it the right way." I poked him jokingly. He flinched. "Hey! You know I'm ticklish..." I grinned. "Yeah." I started tickling him, making him laugh really loudly.
Tenma and the others looking at you two from a nearby table
Nobody's POV
"Aww they're like a couple..." Aoi cooed as she looked at the orange-haird boy laughing as the pink-haired girl tickled him with a smile on her face. "Do you think they like each other?" Tenma ask curiously. "Even if they did, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't admit it..." Midori rolled her eyes. "We should try to get them together!" Shinsuke yelled excitedly. "Shhh not so loud!" Tenma quickly covered his mouth. "Sorry... I was just reaaaally excited." Shinsuke said sheepishly. "I have an idea!" Akane said excitedly. They whispered among themselves, with grins on each of their faces.
Timeskip to when school ends
Tamura's POV
"Yess!" I dumped everything in my bag as I started to walk out of my classroom. I paused as i heard thunder. "Hey Ao-" I stopped as I realised no one was in the classroom anymore. I sighed. "Guess I'm going home myself..."
Oh no... I forgot my umbrella... -.-||
As I was about to make a dash to a nearby bus stop, someone grabbed my arm.
"You want to share an umbrella with me?" A familiar voice asked me. I turned around and saw a particular orange haired boy. "S-Sure." My heart pounded just at the thought of being close to him. He pulled me close to him as his umbrella wasn't that big. Luckily he was focused on keeping me dry, or else he would have seen me blushing madly.
Tenma's POV
"It worked!" I whispered to those that were hiding behind the bushes with me. We high-fived each other as we continued watching the orange-haired boy with the pink-haired girl.
Flashback
"So I checked today's weather forecast and it says it's going to rain later." Akane whispered excitedly. Everyone looked at her with eyes that said "so?"
She rolled her eyes. "We can take Tamura's umbrella so that she won't be able to go home by herself. Taiyou gets released at the same time as you guys. If they meet, Taiyou will obviously share his umbrella with her. We can hide behind the bushes to see if they will."
End flashback
"Eh?!" I looked closer as I realised Taiyou's arm was around Tamura's shoulder.
Timeskip to when you reach your house.
"Arigatou Taiyou..." I trailed off as I realised he was half drenched. "You're going to get sick!" I exclaimed worriedly. "It's fine... rea-" he sneezed. "Yeah, you're soooo healthy." I said sarcastically. I pulled him into my house. "You should stay in my house first. You're just going to be more sick if you try to walk home." He rolled his eyes. "Okay, mom." I snorted.
"Okaa-san!! I'm home!!" She came out from the kitchen. "Welcome home Tamu- Oh! Hi Taiyou! Is he your boyfriend?" I blushed. "Mom!! H-He's just staying here for a while until the rain stops." She smirked at me. "Alright then~ You two have fun!" She walked back into the kitchen without giving me time to respond. "L-Let's go up to my room." I awkwardly pulled his arm. I told him to lie on my bed but he refused. "You need to rest so you'll get better!!" I whined. "I'm not even that si-" he sneezed again. Then he started coughing. "Really?" I raised an eyebrow. "Alright alright." He sighed in defeat. He lied in my bed and instantly fell asleep. I covered him with my blanket and saw him snuggling into it. I smiled warmly at him. "You know what, Taiyou? You can be irritating sometimes, but I still love you." I ran my hand through his hair. So soft... I thought dreamily.
Taiyou's POV
H-Huh? Who's touching my ha-
I opened my eyes sleepily and was surprised to see Tamura looking at me lovingly. I decided to close my eyes again to see what else she would do.
Tamura's POV
I saw his eyes flicker but I thought that it was just my imagination. "I-I would never say these things to you though. You would never like me back anyway..."
"H-How would you know?" I gasped. I looked at the sick boy in my bed. "Truth is... I've liked you since I first met you when we were young. I guess I just didn't realise I was in love as I was too young." He stroked my hair. "Tamura Miho... will you be my girlfriend?" I didn't answer him, I just pulled him towards me and kissed him. He was startled at first but soon he relaxed and started twirling my hair around his fingers as his other hand went to grab my hand. We intertwined our fingers. Suddenly, he pulled back. "You're going to get sick..." I smiled. "This is worth it." I pulled him back into a kiss. This time our tongues danced together and I could feel the passion and warmth of this kiss. We pulled back to breathe in air.
"I love you Tamura Miho"
"I love you too Amemiya Taiyou."
I smiled against his chest as he hugged me tightly.
2 weeks later
"Tamura! Your boyfriend is here~"
She stressed the word "boyfriend". I smiled as soon as I heard his voice. "Hey Tamura! I told you you would get sick you bakka."
I frowned. "You don't have to be so mean... I'm sick because of you." He looked at me questioningly. "What did I do?" He stared at me innocently. "You were too attractive!" I almost yelled. I gasped and clasped my hands onto my mouth. He grinned. "Was I?" I immediately blushed.
"I should get some sleep... You can stay if you want to."
I immediately covered myself under my blanket to hide my super red face. He laughed quietly at how funny and cute I was acting. When he thought I was sleeping, he kissed my forehead.
"You're a bakka Tamura.
But, you're my bakka."
After hearing that, I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
Extra Ending
Tamura's POV
I sighed contentedly as I wrapped my arms around his waist, walking into school. I was finally able to come back to school after a week. His arms were on my shoulder, making me feel protected. We heard whispers like "They're so cute together!!" "They're a match made in heaven..." I slightly blushed at hearing those comments. Taiyou noticed. He purposely gave me a peck on my forehead. My face immediately became as a red a tomato. I hit him on the shoulder. The girls around us started squealing. This made me even redder. If that was possible. "Hi guys..." I waved at Tenma and the others as they all looked at me with smirks on their faces. "Yes, we're together now. Are you happy?" I huffed, my face becoming red again.
