Dreams, ever inside my head,
sometimes they feel dead.
Crowding around inside,
the only place I can't hide.
Who can control what they dream?
It's as impossible as stopping a stream.
The water flows past,
same as the dreams, they last.
I wish I could awaken.
Instead of feeling taken.
My dreams they hold me.
How can this be?
Eyes shut tight,
putting up a mental fight.
The darkness takes my hand,
and drags me across this grotesque land.
I want to awaken I want to fight,
to end this terrible night!
