When all the roads you took came back

As soon as me and Dougie get into our hotel room. I jump on my bed and immediately fall into a deep slumber, missing the planned dinner.

"Eve, it's time to get up, we're going sightseeing" Dougie whispers as I groan, opening my eyes.
"At this time?" I whine, rubbing my eyes.
"Yeah, come on kiddo, take a shower and change, I'll meet you in the lobby with the gang" Shit.
I'll have to see Danny. I remember everything that happened yesterday. I'm such an idiot. I really am. It's always my fault. I need to snap out of this.
Why was I such a childish psycho bitch?

I nod as he smiles, kissing my forehead before he leaving the room.
I manage to get up and walk into the bathroom, I jump into a quick shower and then get out, changing into my loose white crop top along with a pair of leggings and my flip flops. Ew my thighs look massive. I'll just place a bag over. I comb my hair, brush my teeth, quickly use the toilet, wash my hands, and grab my bag, placing it so it'll cover the top of my thighs. I throw my hair into a high pony, forgetting about makeup.
"Hey" Izzy smiles, hugging me tightly.
"Hiya" I manage to return.
"You okay after yesterday? You didn't seem yourself" She questions concerned.
"Yeah, mood swings" I roll my eyes as she laughs.
"I'm starving" Harry whines.
"Raisins won't fill you up Hazza" I chuckle.
He gives me the finger in response.
"I could really do with a bacon roll right now" I speak up as Gi jumps in her seat.
"Yes! Let's go find one!" She grabs me by the arm and drags me out the lobby.
We go to the shop next door and notice bacon cooking.
"You get the bacon, I'll get the rolls" I instruct as she nods, dashing into the line. I laugh, as I look around for rolls. Ew raisin rolls . That's like Harry's wet dream.
"Aha!" I exclaim as I spot the White morning rolls.

Me and Gi walk back into the hotel, our stomachs full.
"Where's the bacon rolls?" Tom asks, noticing we aren't carrying any.
"Oh... You wanted some?" I question wearily, knowing Gi and I had just scoffed about three each.
"Uh yeah" He nods, I look at Gi as she looks at me. We both burst out laughing as the boys shake their heads, smiling.
"Alright lads and lassies" Danny smirks, walking in with his arm wrapped around Georgia. I sigh, as I go stand by Izzy, linking her arm with mine.
"Can we please go and visit the museum first?" Dougie pleads.
"Aw mateeeee" Danny groans.
"It'll be good, I promise" He tries to convince him.
"It better"
"Nerd" I mumble jokingly, Dougie hears and walks over.
"Sorry Poynter, what was that?" He smirks.
"You're a nerd" I repeat, only to get flung over his shoulder.
What was with these boys constantly doing that to me?
"Dougie! Put me down now!" I command, not liking it one bit.
"No can do sissy" He laughs as everyone else does except Danny.
I look over to see him frowning. I shake my head and try and gaze my attention on something else.
"Dougieeeeee, this is so boring" Danny whines, resting his head on Dougie's shoulder.
I walk away from Dougie and go stand by Tom, who pulls me to the side.
"Have you and Danny talked?" He asks.
"Nah, best not to eh?" I chuckle.
"Well it would be best to" He admits,
"It was a fallout over nothing, anyway I wasn't myself, it's not a big deal" I shrug.
"Not a big deal eh?"'I hear the familiar Bolton accent question.
"No, no it wasn't" I stand down, turning around.
"So you flipped out over nothing?"
"Yeah pretty much" I nod, keeping my answers short as possible.
"Tom, will you give us a minute?" Danny asks.
"Sure mate" Tom walks off.
"I don't know why you're making such a big deal out of this" I admit.
"Well I'd like to know why you snapped"
"You put me in a bad mood" I shrug.
"Me?" He laughs.
"If you're gonna be a dick about it, don't bother" I try and walk past him but he puts his arm in front of me.
"I'm not done yet" He says.
"Oh I think you are" I try and push against his strength.
"Eve" He says seriously.
"What Danny?" I sigh.
"Look I'm sorry but why were you snapping? What did I do?" He asks genuinely.
"Nothing Danny, I was just in a rotten mood"
"You weren't on anything?" He asks.
"No, why?"
"You were acting a bit strange"
I nod slowly.
He sighs and pulls me into a tired hug. I hug back immediately.
"We mates again?" He questions, glancing down as me as I'm still wrapped in his arms.
Boy I wish we were more.... but nothing can be done now.
We pull away and I walk over to go and speak to Harry.
"I'm not feeling too well, I better head back to the hotel" I tell Harry.
"You want me to come back with you?" He asks.
"Nah, it's fine, I'll see you when you're back" I smile.
"Okay, I'll tell the gang, you know your way back?"
I nod, as I give him a quick hug and walk off.
"Danny!" I squeal as he throws me into the air. He laughs, pretending to drop me.
"You're alright darlin''" He winks.
Ugh. His smile. His everything.
"Danny, put her down will you" Tom laughs, shaking his head.
"No can do Tommo, she's all mine" I laugh as he places me on the floor.
"You touch me again Jones, I'll kick your balls in" I wink.
"Feisty sixteen year old you are eh?" He laughs.
"You've not seen the rest" I joke, as I pull him onto the floor, he lands beside me.
I jump on top and tickle his neck area since that's his weakest spot.
"Stop!!!" He cries with laughter, rolling about.
He then manages to grab me and tickle my waist area.
"Danny!! No" I laugh, copying his actions. "I want to be apart of this!" Dougie exclaims, running over.
"Get lost Poynter! I'll hurt you so fucking MUUUAHHHHH!"" Dougie grabs my feet and starts tickling them. "Stop!!" I cry out, kicking my legs out to avoid them from being tickled.
I smile at the memory.
"You're my favourite person ya know?" Danny randomly smiles.
I look over. "Not yourself?" I smirk, jokingly.
"Aw come on, say I'm yours" He pouts.
"Sorry babe, more of a Harry girl" I joke. "
You've broken ma heart " He fake cries.
"Aw no! You'll always be my favourite mess" I wrap my arms around him.
"You don't know how much that means to me" He fake dries his eyes as we both chuckle together.
I reach the hotel and climb up the stairs until I reach mine and Dougie's room.
I sigh, as I jump on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.
"You need to tell him you love him, before it's too late!" Gi exclaims excitedly.
"I don't want to be rejected" I admit, hanging my head low.
"But you'll never know, it'll stay bottled up until you lose it, do you really want to feel that your entire life??" she questions.
"It's better than being left embarrassed" I shrug.
"Eve, I know you want to, what if it's too late? What if he finds somebody else?" she asks me, a serious expression on her face. "
Thinking about it.... maybe he would return the feelings. The way he looks at me isn't how you look at just a friend.
The door from downstairs opens and I knew immediately it was Danny returning from the gym.
Maybe Gi was right, maybe he does like me....
"Okay... maybe I need to tell him" I nod determinedly, standing up.
"Yes!!" Gi squeals. "I can't believe you're actually going to do this! No backing out though!" She quietly giggles as we both race down the steps of the Mcfly house, reaching the living room.
"Danny.. I...."
Oh.....
I pause on the bottom step just in front of Gi and feel my chest tighten.
"What are you d....." Gi looks over to where I'm staring and stops the words from leaving her mouth.
"Eve, Gi...This is my girlfriend Lucy" He grins, introducing me.
"Shit" Gi covers her mouth slyly in shock.
I close my eyes, remembering the painful memory, don't think I was ever his first choice.
