Wu Suowei finally got up from bed, changed his clothes and went out.
"This is my family's field. We grow corns now, and will be able to cook and eat it in a few days." Then he plucked one, peeled the husk and silk to expose the corncob, used his hand to remove some kernels and white milky juice oozed out, popped it into his mouth, chewed and said: "it is still unripe, but it's very sweet, you can have a taste."
Then he brought the corncob toward Chi Cheng's mouth.
Chi Cheng did not hold it, instead he directly ate a mouthful from the corncob that was held by Wu Suowei, and it was indeed sweet. He moved upwards, took another bite, and nipped the back of Wu Suowei's hand.
"Your hand is not sweet." Chi Cheng's corner of lips curled upwards.
Wu Suowei threw the corncob to the ground, looked over and ignored Chi Cheng.
Chi Cheng hooked his elbow around Wu Suowei's neck, turned Wu Suowei's head, leaned down to kiss him. Wu Suowei obviously wanted to evade the kiss. Chi Cheng tenderly nipped Wu Suowei's earlobe with his thin lips, and flippantly said: "Your mother still did not know that you already quit?"
Wu Suowei turned rigid and looked fiercely at Chi Cheng.
"Try if you dare!"
Chi Cheng's forehead touched Wu Suowei's forehead.
"If you dare to refuse my kiss, then I dare to expose your secret!"
Wu Suowei's Adam's apple bobbed, and he did not say anything.
Chi Cheng kissed him fiercely. The taste of corn filled their cavities, the taste was very innocent and plain, but it was also filled with a strong wild romance that stimulated a massive secretion of testosterone. Chi Cheng's hand snaked toward Wu Suowei's back, quietly slid down his back and roamed until the region that made his blood moved southward.
He didn't know if it was because he already watched a lot of gay movies, but the kiss did not made Wu Suowei felt the need to ward off.
Chi Cheng's hand was kneading Wu Suowei's soft buttock. Wu Suowei tried to resist and pushed Chi Cheng's arm, but this time it was not out of pure resistance. There was a faint of desire to resist yet he also welcomed the kiss.
The slight changes unexpectedly made the wily old fox Chi Cheng that didn't meet Wu Suowei for a while felt excited.
His buttock suddenly felt cold. Wu Suowei did not respond, and Chi Cheng was the first one to grasp and raised the culprit.
Mr. Xiao Cu Bao, who was originally on Chi Cheng's shoulder, saw both men kissing without paying any attention to him. Hence it took advantage when that Chi person did not pay any attention when he embraced Wu Suowei. It quietly glided down from Wu Suowei's shoulder, probed open the waistband with its pointed head, and slithered down Wu Suowei's buttock.
"You are really good in taking advantage!" Chi Cheng scolded Xiao Cu Bao.
Xiao Cu Bao hung its head down as Chi Cheng carried him, kept on rolling its body, and acted shamelessly.
Wu Suowei strode toward a netted coop that was not far from them. The net was supported by a small wooden stick, and there were two small sparrows trapped inside the net that kept on flapping its wings. Wu Suowei's hand probe into the net and his hand swiftly caught one and brought it to Xiao Cu Bao's mouth.
Xiao Cu Bao ate with gusto.
Chi Cheng had been feeding Xiao Cu Bao wild animals for the past few days, yet he never saw it being so lively. From the fact that Wu Suowei could handle Xiao Cu Bao, and from the moment it saw Wu Suowei, that little guy had swept away all its depression for the past few days, and made it became lively all of a sudden.
"Do you still use this traditional method to catch sparrow?" Chi Cheng asked, "Then how much time did you spent to have a netted bag full with sparrows?"
Ah you know it well, do you think it is easy for me to catch a fish as big as you?
Of course, Wu Suowei said something that was definitely different from his thought.
"There are many sparrows in this field, and from time to time there will be many sparrows that will fly into the net. There's also a nest in my courtyard, and the stupid sparrow will usually fly into the chimney. It does not know that the chimney is hollow, and most of the time it will straightly fall on my bed. What method do you use to catch one? You also raise a lot of snakes, so you must have used a very advanced equipment?"
Just then, a sparrow that wasn't scare of death flew above their heads.
Wu Suowei watched helplessly as Chi Cheng caught the sparrow empty-handedly. The speed and proficiency simply looked like a sudden flash in his eyes.
"I catch it just like this." Chi Cheng answered nonchalantly.
Wu Suowei could hear a labored breathing. It was coming from the almost dying sparrow. The more he looked at the sparrow, the more it looked like himself. Will he be able to escape if his secret was exposed one day? Perhaps Chi Cheng will just swallow him alive since he didn't resemble a sparrow?
Anne's Rant:
Xiao Cu Bao is so funny. He used to be so possessive of Chi Cheng but now he prefers Wu Suowei more than his owner and got jealous when they kissed and ignored him. He called Chi Cheng 'that Chi person' or what most Chinese-English speaker would say 'human' instead of using name or proper word....well at least for me and my friends.
Translating is not an easy job and it takes time and effort. So please don't rush and be civilized. Don't steal and a little thanks is not that hard to say. It's holiday but here I am sitting my arse in front of my laptop translating and typing all the notes so that you gain a tiny tiny bit of knowledge and not just to satisfy you bl dose. But maybe it's just me as I love to read things that teach me something rather than just feeding my imagination. I could just enjoy my holiday to the core until my semester starts but that mean saying bye-bye to Counterattack and Uncontrolled Love for at least 2 months like I had done before. The beyotch in me is ragging but the tiny part in me told me to ignore and just translate until my new semester starts lmao
You might need to check Disclaimer as I just updated some basic info about my translation.
Please note that some part might be incorrect as we don't know how to translate the slangs and idioms to English and translators might rely on the pinyin. Mistakes are bound to happen and corrections are very welcome.
