"Hora de despertar Jauregui." a familiar voice said and Lauren let out a groan [Time to wake up Jauregui.]
"Come on. We don't have a whole day."
"Let me sleep Camz. I'm tired."
"¿Acaba de llamarme Camz?"[Did she just call me Camz?]
"Si, lo ha hecho." another voice replied [She did.]
Lauren's eyes shot open as she realized this is in fact not Camila and she slowly scanned the room. Sitting on the other side of the bed was none other than her two best friends.
"Good morning sleeping beauty." Lucy smiled
"Beauty? More like a beast." Maritza replied
"Is this what I get as a birthday present? Gee, thanks, you're the best cousin ever. Totally makes me wanna pick you for my maid of honor."
"For which weddings? The lesbians one or-"
"Okay, that's enough!" Lucy decided to stop the conversation
Both Cubans let out a sigh and looked at the Colombian girl.
"Feliz cumpleaños mi amor. ¿Preparada para celebrar los 21?" [Happy Birthday my love. Ready to celebrate the big 21?]
"I'm old." Lauren mumbled
"Never too old for breakfast in bed. Which actually includes pancakes, muffins, Nutella, strawberries, bananas and-"
"Sadly not Camila."
"Maritza I swear if you don't shut up I'm gonna punch the hell out of you."
"Normani will defend me."
"Bitch you just interrupted me, like hell I will. What I meant to say before this idiot interrupted me, and for drinks we have milk and apple juice. I wanted to bring wine but Luc said something about how 10am is too early for wine?"
"I disagree with her." Maritza replied
"We know." The other three girls replied at the same time
"Well? Are you gonna bring me breakfast to bed or do I have to get up?"
"Drama queen." Normani mumbled and walked over to the bed where the three of them were already cuddled up
"Happy Birthday queen. I'll leave the long paragraph for the instagram."
"Thanks Mani. I love you."
"Love you too. So what are we doing? A movie or a gossip session?"
"Spill." Lucy said and turned to Lauren
"What?" Lauren asked with a mouth full of food
"Don't you what us Jauregui. Your lesbians affair, what's up with that?"
"It's not an affair Mani..."
"Where is Camila anyway? I kind of miss her. " Lucy said
"Dunno." Lauren shrugged "Pass me the milk please?"
"So, if it's not an affair what is it?"
"I'm not sure Mitzi."
"Well, do you love her?"
"Really Lucy? Of course she does. Don't you remember how much she used to talk about her?"
"Used to?" Lucy laughed at Maritza's words
"Okay, she still does."
"She is here and she can hear you."
"Yet she ignores to tell us."
"I am not! I don't know, okay?! What do you want me to tell you? I do love her. I do. I also love Nick. I've been thinking about this for so long, you have no idea. What you have to go through with me over phone calls and texts is nothing compared to the storm in my head. I am going crazy because of this. How do you decide between two people anyway?"
"You choose the second one, because if the first one mattered you wouldn't look at the second one."
"What if the second one came long before the first one? If you have more history with them than with the real first one?"
"Can we like stop using code names? I'm getting lost and I was here since day one. I can't imagine how Mani feels."
"No I get it. Maybe you need a break? How about a lunch? Just four of us."
"Well, that hurts." A voice came from the door
All four of them turned around to see Claire leaning on the door frame.
"You bitch!" Normani yelled as she got up and walked over to hug the girl
"What are you doing here?"
"Really Lo? I pay for their tickets and this is how you welcome me? Ouch."
"You did all of this?" Lauren asked as she jumped from the bed
Claire only nodded and pulled the Latina into a tight hug. "I missed your stupid face, happy birthday princess."
"I missed you too."
Once the hug was over Claire punched Lauren in the shoulder.
"Oww, what's this for?"
"You missed your graduation party! And almost your birthday party."
"I'm sorry, okay? I told you I don't like graduations."
"Still don't understand why, what happened so badly at one you attended that-"
Claire was interrupted by Lucy clapping loudly. "So, lunch?"
Lauren looked at Lucy and smiled. "Te debo una." [I owe you one.]
"Más de uno, pero un abrazo es suficiente." [More than one, but a hug will do it.]
"Awww." Maritza cooed
"What are they saying?" Claire asked and Normani only shrugged
"Fuck me if I know."
"If you fuck me, I'll tell you." Maritza smirked at Normani
"Oh please, both of you are as straight as it gets."
"Unlike Lauren." Lucy mumbles to herself but it's loud enough for Normani to hear it and bite her tongue so she doesn't laugh

They eventually get ready for their lunch date, which takes them about an hour and a half because all of then are much bigger divas then they like to admit.
Except for the five of them the house is empty and Lauren can't help but wonder where the hell is the rest of Collins family, and Camila.
"So C, where are your brothers?"
"Can't tell you. They will meet us later though." Claire grins
"You're annoying."
"You love me and you know it."
"You know you love me, xoxo Gossip Girl." Maritza replied from her spot in front of the mirror
"Why did you have to bring her?"
"She's your best friend. And it's not only me doing it. The boys did it too. We can't let you turn 21 without your favorite people."
"Then what is she doing here?"
"Listen here puta. I did not spend nights sharing my bed with you and dealing with your shits so you can be ungrateful bitch. Got it?"
"I missed your fights." Lucy says
"At least this one is in English and not Spanish. I'd be so lost." Normani mumbled
"Same here girl." Claire says
"Que mal por ti."[Sucks for you.]
"La vida es cruel, tienes que lidiar con ella." [Life sucks, deal with it.]
"Entonces aprende puto español y deja de estar chingando." [Then fucking learn Spanish and stop bitching.]
"You see, I know she said something rude." Normani says to Claire
"Just ignore her. It's what I do." Lauren replies
"Easier said than done. She's annoying."
"And you're not? Watch it Hamilton!"
"Is that a threat Evans?"
"Yo are we done with this shit? I am hungry." Lauren whined
"Of course you are honey. Let's go." Lucy says and pulls Lauren out of the house
The five of them somehow managed to get in the car and drive to the restaurant where Claire made a reservation a few days ago.
"All right, shall we go in circle?"
"Are we in a church camp?"
"Fuck you. I'm going to start then." Normani says before taking a sip of her water
"We're all ears." Claire said
Normani nods and starts talking about her new boy toy while the other four give her their full attention.
"Well at least he didn't turn up to be baby daddy to be. Does that sentence even makes sense?"
"Mhmm. But just so you know, baby daddy can be hot as fuck." Claire said
"Do tell."
"There was this guy I met and yes he was totally using his baby boy as a chick magnet."
"Low." Lucy said
"It is. He was attractive though so we set up a date when his son was with a mother and damn boy, does he know what's he doing."
"Oh yeah, he totally knows. Which is why he has a son."
"Okay Missy, stop with the judging when you're as single as-"
"I don't even have time to date. I don't spend more than a week in one place."
"But you're a model! With your body and travelling schedule I'd be hooking up with so many guys in so many cities." Claire said
"Don't you do that now?" Normani raised her eyebrows
"I mean, you're not wrong... But hey, isn't Keana in a relationship? She's also a model."
"And so are her girlfriends and they work for the same agency. And isn't their relationship an open type?" Lucy asked and looked at Lauren
"I'm not sure. I don't care about her love life."
"¿Por qué tienes suficientes problemas?" [Because you have enough of problems on your own?]
"Sí, básicamente." [Pretty much, yes.]
"Anyway, except for the baby daddy how was Europe?"
"Amazing! All those beaches and parties and fuck! It makes me want to drop college and live my life the way I want."
"It worked out for me. I do what I love and it's great for me."
"Doesn't mean it will work out for her too." Lucy said
"Even if it doesn't she has rich parents?" Maritza said
"Well that's true." Lucy agreed
For the next hour they talked about their lives and what the other missed since they saw each other last time.
"Are you okay? Why are you so nervous Claire?" Lauren asked with her eyebrows raised
"It's nothing."
"Claire Michelle don't you lie to me."
"Why would I lie?"
"You come from a family of lawyers gurl, it's in your blood." Normani joked
"Talking about family..." Claire trailed off and looked behind Lauren
The rest of them turned around, to follow Claire's gaze and saw the other three Jauregui siblings smiling at them.
"Oh my gosh! My nuggets. I missed you so much."
"Happy birthday sis!" Chris hugged her first
"Damn you three sure did grown up a lot."
"And you're still so small." Jacob joked
"Watch it kiddo, I'm still older than you."
"Yeah but what are you gonna do? Hurt your little brother?"
"Little my ass."
"Excuse me, don't wanna interrupt your moment but do I get to hug my sister or not?" Taylor asked and pushed Jacob away from Lauren so she can hug her instead
"I missed you the most." Lauren said and bit her lips in attempt to stop herself from crying
"I missed you too, so fucking much!"
"Language Tay."
"Lauren-"
"I don't care Tay. You're only 15."
"Granny." Taylor mumbles and the rest of the table laughs
Once they greeted Lauren they went to greet Maritza and then the rest of the girls.
"So where's Nick? And when do I get to meet Mark's girl? Girl if we're gonna be family one day-"
"Taylor I totally forgot, the twins wants to see you. Mind joining me for a video call? Boys you too." Maritza interrupted her younger cousin and pulled her away
"Man I miss the twins." Jacob said
"We're not calling them." Maritza replied
"Why are we here then? What's up?"
"Mark's girlfriend..."
"What about her? Is she okay?" Taylor asks
"Well, you know her already."
"Is she like famous?" Chris asks
"To us, kind of yeah."
"What are you on?"
"Mark is dating Cabello."
"Camila??" Jacob and Taylor ask at the same time
"Yes. But neither Mark or Nick know they used to date, Claire doesn't know either. It's in the past and they are both over it. They are trying to be friends as far as I know. Please don't tell them?"
"Of course we won't. She's our big sis, we wanna see her happy."
"Thanks guys, let's go back to the table. Act normal."
"If you tell Jacob to act normal, he will act anything but normal."
"True." Jacob agreed
They didn't end up joining them for a lunch but instead they all went back to the house.
Lauren was surprised to see that the house is decorated in balloons and posters all over, as well as a backyard.
What she was surprised about even more was the fact that two girls were sitting by the pool and talking.
"No fucking way!" Lauren yelled and ran as fast as she could to hug both of them, accidentally pushing them into the pool
"Jauregui what the fuck are you doing?"
"I'm sorry I got you all wet, I didn't mean to Lex."
"If I remember correctly you only ever meant to get wet either this one," Alexa pointed at the girl next to her "or the one I'm not allowed to mention."
And just like that both Vero and Lauren pushed Alexa under the water.
"Puta." Vero said to Alexa although the girl couldn't hear her
"Happy birthday, I missed you. Miami has not been the same since you left."
"I agree." Alexa added
"So no one cares I am not there but they all care if Lo is not?" Lucy asked from her spot outside the pool
"I mean, I miss all of you. It's not the same when we barely even talk. You girls were my amigas, my sisters."
"AMIGAS! CHEETAHS! FRIENDS FOR LIFE!" Lucy, Lauren and Alexa sang at the same time
"And this is what I miss the most. Us being crazy and not giving a damn about anything else."
"Except for how you're gonna kick someone's ass in softball?" A voice said and the all turned around
"Sorry to interrupt you girl but Nick sent me to bring the birthday girl to him."
"Sure thing Cabello, but I'm watching you." Alexa said
"Oh just let it go Lex. It's not her fault I left. I wanted to leave the town so I did. Don't blame Camz. Please?"
"Because it's your birthday." Alexa said and hugged Lauren before pushing her out of the pool
Once the two Cubans were alone Camila took a chance to give Lauren her wishes.
"So, because I haven't seen you since yesterday, happy birthday Lo. How's your day so far?"
"I feel like I'm dreaming. My family is here, my friends are here. H-how did this all happen?"
"Mark and Nick talked with Claire the other day about how she will come over and Nick said how it would be cool to bring Normani, Maritza and Lucy so you can all be together. He asked me what I think about it and I agreed because it's cool. Mark then suggested we also bring Jacob, Chris and Taylor because they are your family."
"What about Lex and Vero?"
"I mean I still kind of have bad blood with them but I know how much you miss them so I pulled some strings and found Lucy's number. There was no way I am going to call them on my own. You can see Alexa still hates me."
"She doesn't hate you. She's not your number one fan but she doesn't hate you."
"Yeah well... anyway, Lucy called them and made a deal with them. They are leaving tomorrow. The rest of the girls are here for a few more days, and your brothers too. Your brothers,Taylor and Claire are sleeping here and the rest of them at Keana's place."
"Did they know?"
"About me being Mark's girlfriend? Maritza said she told your siblings but I had the honor of telling it to Alexa and Vero. They were not happy about seeing me."
Lauren chuckled. "How did that go anyway?"
"Well, Mark and I went to pick them up because Nick went to pick up your siblings and I was like Mark you can wait here, I know how they look blah blah blah so Mark let's me go alone and I'm standing there and I see them looking around and I'm shaking as I walk over and I tell them I asked them to come, I explained them everything. Well not everything. Some things stay between us. And Maritza. And Lucy. Keana too. And also Dinah. But you know what I mean."
"And Normani."
"You have way more friends than I do."
"It's about quality not quantity."
"I know." Camila smiles "Talking about good friends, I am gonna be one and let you see your boy."
"Nunca fuiste solo una buena amiga para mi." [You were never just a good friend to me Camz.]
"I know." Camila sadly smiles and pulls Lauren into a hug "Happy birthday my love, may your day be as beautiful as you are and full with happiness and love. Same goes for your future."
"Thank you Camz. I'll see you later." Lauren says and walks down the hall, disappearing into her room
Camila watched her until the door closed and then she closed her eyes.
"You're wet." A voice behind her says
"I know. It's what you get when you hug a wet person."
"Not if you just hug them. You were clinging onto her."
"I know."
"It's not my place but... you still love her, don't you?"
"As if you would ever be able to get over someone as amazing as Lauren."
"That's true. She really is amazing."
"She is, isn't she?"
Normani looks at Camila and she can see the sadness in her eyes, even though there is a smile on her face.
"She's the best. I'm Normani, by the way."
"I know. Camila."
"I know. I know a lot about you."
"I don't doubt a bit about that."
"Not all bad, you know?"
"Of course. She's way too good to talk only bad about someone."
"Especially if it's someone she loves."
Camila immediately picks up how Normani didn't say loved but loves and smiles.
"You should get changed and come downstairs. We don't bite."
"I'm not so sure about that..."
"Gurl, there is no way I am letting you spend this day in your room all alone."
"Not all day."
"No way girl, come on. Let's get you changed and start the party."
Camila let out a sigh and Normani grinned because she just won this argument.
