"Ah suhh dude."
I shut my locker ,"hey Char." Walking with her at the school halls.
Charlotte is my best friend and my neighbor. We've been, for like 9 years now so like my house is her house and her house is my house, I just love it.
"So have you gotten a dress to prom?" Charlotte says
"Prom?"
"Uhhhh yeah."
"I think you should be asking, have you gotten a date to prom."
"I heard Mac was gonna ask you."
"He would never."
"i guess we'll see about that,"
"And you? How's Gary?"
"He's being such a jerk. He-"
"You know? I don't even wanna know."
"Whatever. So what's going on with your life? what did Kourtney say on that text you sent her?"
"dude very funny story actually, so I asked Paul for Kourtneys number during class, he said it to me and i wrote it down. Later on I texted the number and turns out it wasn't kourtney's. that number he told me turned to be Justin Bieber's" I explain acting calm
She gives me a look, "bitch, that's the biggest lie I've ever heard."
"I swear to god"
"nah you for fake," she laughs "That's not possible Holly May, you're literally texting a catfish "
"dude i'm not. i literally oath on my life."
She glares at me but I ignore it
"Okay, show me." She simply says and I shrug taking my phone out.
I begin to show her the texts between Justin and I and then showing her the Instagram and Twitter follows that Justin did to prove he's justin bieber
Her mouth drops, "What the fuck!?"
"Shhhhush!" I say snatching my phone back.
"he likes you???" She says confused reading the message that justin saying "because i like you"
"Well obviously as a friend." I grab her pulling her to the corner where no one can hear us, "Charlotte promise me you won't tell a soul about this, that was meant for your ears only okay?" I whisper
She sighs, "okay I swear on your grave I wo-"
"My grave?"
"Same thing!!" She whisper shouts
I look ahead of her and see Mac and his group of boys head to us
"Okay fine, now please, your mans and his bro's are about to approach us, so none of this ever happened." I sigh as she turns around and looks for Gary. I don't get them at all.
"Hey Charlotte, hey May Holly" Aaron, one of Mac's friends says
"It's Holly May." I correct him
"Oh guess what?"
"What?"
"Don't care." Then goes back to talking to Charlotte
Aaron was such a dick, we used to have a fling but I started dating his best friend Marty and things got a little bit intense. I know I know it's super weird that i dated my fling's best friend but it was 3 years ago, I was 15. I didn't know what I was doing with my life.
"Hey Hamilton." Mac greets me
"Hey." I greet
"You got a minute to talk?"
"Yeah sure, what you want?"
"I meant alone."
I give him a questioning look but agreed, we walked away from people until we were all alone
"So Mac what's this for?"
He smiles, "So, you know prom is in 2 weeks?"
"Yup." Is he about to........ ask me outttt??????
"I was just... Ya'know asking if you could be my date to prom? Well that's if you don't have one of course." He asks, stepping closer

"Me? What about Chloe?" I ask not giving him a complete answer yet, he still has a thing with his ex gf so why is he asking me?
"Come on Holly May, we all know that I really l-", he pauses
"i'm always thinking about you.. and not Chloe, shes the one that wants me." He says holding one of my hands
"that's cute, but if you don't want chloe, then don't act like you do." I sass looking down at my nails
"I'll try."
I sigh
"soooo prom?" He asks again
I look up at him and give him a simple nod
"Prom." I agree
