I woke up to much brighter surroundings.
The chains from before weren't there, but I had a much softer but strong material around my muzzle. My neck had the same material and it wasn't as tight, neither of them were.
I opened my eyes and I could actually see things. I wasn't in the complete darkness, as I usually was, and it was warm. I was always kept in complete darkness and cold stone floors.
I lifted my head, giving a confused chatter before getting up and looking around.
The softer material collar was attached to a lighter chain which was hooked up to a wall and my muzzle was attached to nothing.
The chain was longer than my old one, much to my pleasure. I got up and looked at everything with such wonder.
There was an odd spherical thing that was purple.
I nudged it with my muzzle and it moved. I started pushing it around the room, actually having fun for once.
I moved the sphere around with my tail, giving it a good whack. It rolled over to the door.
I moved to get it, but to my disappointment, my chain didn't allow me to go that far.
I laid down in a straight line with my nose pointing at the sphere and stared at it longingly.
The door opened a few moments later and a very buff-looking blonde man came in. He looked confused.
I recognized his scent from my other cell, "You want the ball?" He asked, picking it up.
I jumped up and wagged my tail crouching down giving a happy chatter.
He smiled at me and rolled it over.
I pounced on it before rolling it back to him.
He sat down by the door and rolled it back to me.
We continued to do this until another man came in, he had dark glasses on.
He sat by the blonde man, who offered him the ball, "Roll it to it Clint," the blonde man told 'Clint'.
He sighed and took the ball gaining my attention.
I wagged my tail happily and watched as he rolled the ball quickly, hoping to catch me off guard.
I moved quickly and stopped it with my muzzle before rolling it back to Clint with my nose giving a happy chatter through the muzzle.
After a while of playing ball back and forth between the three of us, another man came in with a plate of... Something. It was red and cubed, it smelled good though.
This man was wearing kaki pants and he picked up a cube before tossing it in front of me before taking out a small clicker looking thing and pressing the button.
I felt the muzzle unlock and it fell off. I stared at it shocked before snapping my jaws, not used to being this free.
I poked the cube with my nose confused before looking at it with my head tilted.
"Does it not know what food is?"
