After Shane kinda killed the mood at dinner by asking jenner all those questions, I knew there had to be Somthing wrong
I wanted to ask him about it, but knew right now wasn't a good time, as we where Walking down the corridor with everyone, I knew we would most likely be sharing a room, so with the bottle of wine still in my hand I decided tonight we would talk
"the couches are rather comfortable, but if you want there are cots to spare" jenner explained, I walked over to shane who carried my bag still
"I guess where sharing" I said, he nodded his head, holding my bag tighter
"theres also a reck room for the kids, but please don't plug in any of the games, we need all the power we can get"

I giggled to myself at my taughts, even tho normally I wouldn't find that very funny, Shane gave me a a weird look, and I bit my lip as he scowlded
"there are also showers in each room, just go easy on the hot water" jenner finished, walking into his own room and closing the door
"hot water?" Glenn said in disbelief, turning around to everyone
"that's what the man said" tdog explained, rushing to get to a room, I chuckled seeing everyone's excitment, and Shane placed his hand on my upper arm, leading me to a room, I seen rick going into one a little away from us, I gave him a thumbs up when I noticed him staring
Shane put my bag on the bed, his own on the couch, I raised my eyebrow at him, the bed was big enough for us both?
"if you don't mind, I'll take a shower now" Shane said, I nodded my head, he noticed my odd stare but shook it of, heading into the room, the bottle of wine still in his hand
I wasn't sure what I did to piss him of, the odd looks and flat tone and now he won't even sleep in the same bed as me, he was most defintly mad about Somthing, we have shared a bed countless times, and he's never this hostile
I groaned, flopping onto the bed, I was old enogh to be able to talk to my best friend about Somthing being wrong, but I was annoyed that I couldnt think of what it was, and that I taught we where okay
Why was he being such a child
My buzz was defintly disspering, so I did as any person would, and opened the new bottle

I had a good bit of the bottle gone once Shane was finished, he walked out in a towel, he let out a breath in annoyance when seeing I was even more tipsy then before
I stumbled up, making my way towards the bathroom, Shane gripped my arm, I think I was about to fall but I wasn't sure
"I can do it" I scoffed, ripping my arm from him, Shanes rolled his eyes, but seemed concerned
"iris don't be difficult, you could fall in the shower" he said, I simply sorted, closing the door behind me as I walked in
The shower was incredibly refreshing, it was amazing to get of all the dirt and blood, considering I haven't had one in so long, let's just say I didn't go easy on the hot water
After getting dressed, I walked out to see Shane was not in the room, I shrugged and picked up my bottle, walking out also, seeing some people walk around, tho most where in there rooms
I walked straightly for the most part, trying to keep a good demeanour
I noticed shopia and Carl walking out of the reck room with Carol, so I knew it wasn't that late
"hello younge sir" I chuckled, wrapping an arm around him, he looked up at me smiling
"so where are you three fine younge ladies going of to" I teased, Carol and shopia laughed, as Carl pulled away scrunching his nose up
"don't to that" I said grabbing his nose "your face can get stuck like that"
"your still drunk" Carl laughed, and shook his head at me
"ye two doing alright" I said, my eyes baggy as I leaned against the wall
"yes where fine, I suggest you get some water before bed however" carol giggled, I smiled wider as she then timidly walked away with the kids, poor carol, ed didn't deserve her or shopia
I continued, taking a long gulp out of the wine, we should probably save it for another day, but right now I really needed it
As I turned a corner, I dumped into someone, looking up as fast as my drunk state could, I slowly registered the person I ran into was rick
"heeey" I laughed, he has a massive smile on his face, both of us laughing as we slowly slid down the wall
"hey" he chuckled, both of us lazily laying on each other, alcohol bottles in both our hands
"chin chin" I laughed, clanking my bottle against his, he laughed into my hair
"cheers" he whispered, I felt his smile against my cheek, the warmth of his breath causing chills down my spine
I leaned away from him, both of us tiredly smiling at each other
"you alright" rick asked, I rolled my eyes at him, always that damn question
"yes sir, you?"
"yes ma'm" rick chuckled, I crinkled my nose up at him in a smile
"never taught I'd see drunk you again" I laughed "your an idiot when you drink" I chuckle
"but not as stupid as you dear" he said sarcastically, I playfully glared at him, hitting his shoulder
"oh yeah?, atleast I don't get pressured into running down a street naked" I laughed, rick covered his face in embaressment as I laughed harder
"yeah well... What can you expect from someone who's only 15" he defended himself, Smiling at me "and you started smoking because you drank" he added, making me curl up my lip, I could actually use one right now
"ya ya ya..." I mumbled
"could never get ya to quit those damn things" he said, Sighing deeply
Me and rick continued the banter for a little while longer, before we got stitches from laughing
"okay okay, enough" he chuckled, looking down at me, we both just looked at each others finding comfort in the contact of our arms rested together, both just content on being beside each other
"you where right" I smiled wider, rick looked forward, he seemed confussed but still amused
"what?" he asked, looking back at me
"about this place rick, I mean its no CEO, but it's shelter, it's food, your doing good, your a good leader" I said, nodding my head, I took in a deep breath, taking in another mouthful of the liquid
Rick just hummed from beside me, taking his own sip, before again looking in my eyes, his now a bit more Seriouse
"not everyone thinks so" he mumbled, shaking his head, looking down to the floor
"hey" I scrunched my eyebrows, sitting up to look at him closer "you are, so far your the reason we have all survived, this group" I said, holding his cheeks so he would have to look at me
"that's not true.. Shane kept my family alive, he thinks fort benning, and that I should of never went after merle" rick said, obviously distraught that him and Shane seem to be arguing to
"that's bullshit." I hissed, causing ricks eyes to widen in surprise "okay rick you can't blame yourself for not being here at the start, you where in acoma... And you saved me alright man? you saved me.. And hell without getting those guns non of us would of survived that attack, I say that full heartedly, it didn't take us that long to get there after it started anyways, and look around, you where right about this place."
Rick looked deeply into my eyes, me doing the same to him, trying to tell him how honest I was being threw the way I was looking at him, screw picking sides, I do belive rick is right, he always has been
"you really think that.. You really think I've made good decisions?" he asked, and I felt a pain in my heart at how desperate he sounded, as he cupped my cheeks the moment I loward mine
I smiled, nodding my head at him, rick smiled, looking over my face in adoration, I felt a tension in my stomach, and suddenly was focusing on my.brrsthing as I melted into his beautiful blue eyes..before slowly he began pulling my face closer to him
I allowed my lips to parten, my eyes staring down at his, it didn't take long for us to feel each others breaths, his smelling of wine, we both froze for a moment, and I felt like I was burning alive,, his warm hands causing my cheeks to go red, I was now more or less straddling him, and I just craved his lips...
And then, I was the one to connect them, rick reacting instantly, the kiss was soft, slow, his lips gently touched against mine, causing tingles to rush threw me, my stomach twisted and felt like it was going to explode, the kiss alone was intoxicating, along with the taste of wine fine both had, it fuled me, it swam around my head and rushed around me, I was completely transfixed in rick, in this moment, he was the only thing that occupied my mind and body, I out everything in the kiss, and by the way rick gripped against me i could tell he was to, the kiss deepend
I rubbed against rick unknowingly, and for some reason, his deep husky moan braught me back to reality
I pulled away, with wide frantic eyes, I panted and looked rick over, he seemed annoyed at first, but soon his face fell into one of shock also, both of us not knowing what to do
I climbed of him once composing myself, sitting beside him, I couldnt bare look at him, i just looked forward at the pictures of the wall
Rick then stood up, stumbling as he did it to quickly for his drunken state, he let out a noise of distress, covering his face in disbelief
"I'm sorry" I whispered, looking down at his feet
"no no... It was me.. It- it.."
Silence filled between us, the tension was unbearable, I just wanted to sink into the wall, I want to take the last few seconds back, God I Wat to run out of this building and straight towards a Walker if I Need to
"I'm.. I'm gonna go back to Lori.. My wife Lori.. My wife" he said, repeating the words to himself, I nodded my head, urging him to leave
He stared down at me, but I couldnt meet his gaze, and seconds later, he was stumbling away
I still couldn't get my breathing under control, God what have we done, my brain was filling with blood as guilt ripped each limb of my body
This is so fucked up...
Mabye he wont rember...
Slowly, I lifted my fingers to my lips, gently running then against my bottom one
But how could he forget.....
