Nami's POV:
"Oi Minato!" I jumped to reach my phone "Give it back!"
"Well you better reach it to get it!" He raised his arm higher
It's been a week since that incident happened with me and Gray, and this are going well. Gray has moved on (Well...he said he'll be waiting for me), Kaori and Kousei are the bestests friends that they always hang out with each other instead of me T-T and Minato and I's friendship has grown much more, to the point where we hang out in school nearly all the time!
Well now...HE STOLE MY FLIPPING PHONE!!!! And the worst part is...I CAN'T REACH THE DAMN THING!!!
"Come on Nami..." He teased me "Aww, you're too short to reach it..."
"Be quiet!" I shouted as I tried to jump as high as I could
"If you want me to be quiet..." His arm raised higher "Then go get your phone!"
I growled at him as I furiously pounced at him in a flash, causing us to fall on the school grounds.
OOOFFF!!!
"Ha..."I smirked as I snatched my phone of his hand "I got it!"
I suddenly saw his cheeks heat up in a rosy, red colour...almost like a petal from a cherry blossom tree. Then I realised, I was onto top of Minato. Moreover, I was literally sitting on him...
"A-AHHH!" I blushed like mad "S-S-Sorry!"
I quickly jumped away from him as he fixed himself, both of us still blushing. I also fixed myself while, I told off Minato not to steal my phone again. We were going to our class until I thought of something. Why was I blushing? WHY was HE blushing? Why was my heart skip a beat when I was on top of him? Am I-
"Hello Dreamhead! Earth to Nami Sodaku! Earth to dreamhead!! HELLLOOOOO!!!" Minato crazily shook my body to the point where I started to feel dizzy
"HEY MINATO!!! YOU'RE GETTING ME DIZZY!!!" I kicked his leg "AND CAN YOU STOP CALLING ME THAT NAME!!!!"
"Alright, alright..." He rubbed his leg "Man...You kick so hard..."
"Oh well, sorry!" I crossed my arms "Come on, let's go to class..."
He nodded as we entered our classroom. We saw the normal classmates in our class; The jocks, the nerds, the social butterflies, the loners and Kaori. I headed straight to Kaori, decided to ditch Minato, and talked to her until the teacher came.
"Really?" I questioned "I never heard of that!"
"I know!" She squealed quietly "Imagine; The Loner girl, Reina, is in a relationship with her bully, Lyon!! It's sooo cute!!"
"Don't you dare fangirl on me..." I backed away "But to be honest, it is kind of cute..."
"I am really happy for them..." She suddenly looked down "But I'm sad that you rejected Gray's confession. He such a funny and hot guy..."
"I know..." I agreed with her "But I don't think I should have one at this time. I mean, it my distract me from my studies..."
"Is it your studies or you-"
"Sorry students!" Our teacher slammed the door open "We have a new student transferring to this class!"
What? Another one? We just had a new student here, Olivia, and were gonna have a new one...How many people do you need?
The teacher stood behind her desk as she adjusted her cardigan...
"Students.." She smiled at us "Please say hello to your new student; Nora Kizami!"
Wait...Kizami? Nora...Kizami? Is that Minato's sister...wait, Minato told me he was an only child. Maybe a cousin? Or not...
"Minato..." I leaned closer to his desk "Do you know this person..."
I heard no response but a glare at the girl. Is he...
"Hello everyone!" She smiled sweetly "I'm Nora Kizami; I'm looking forward to be part of this class!"
I suddenly heard whispers around the room, then eyes staring at Minato and Nora...
The teacher asked her to sit next to Minato on the left, since I was on the right. As she sat down, she placed her hand on Minato's and smiled at him. In a flash, he moved his hand away from her's and looked away in my direction. I stared at him curiously for quiet a while until I stopped spacing out and concentrated on the work. Once all the 3 periods were finished, I went to the back of school with Minato. And for some reason, he had this look on his face that I couldn't really describe.
"Minato.." I nudged him "You okay?"
"Y-yeah.." He leaned back on the bench "I think so..."
"Is it about N-"
"Hi Minato!" Nora jumped into the scene "Who's this?"
He glared at her "This is Nami...What do you want?"
"Nami..." She looked at me with a smile "Nice to meet you Nami, I'm Nora; Minato's w-"
"She's speaking nonsense..." Minato interrupted her "Come on Nami..."
He quickly grabbed my hand but Nora placed a hand on his shoulder. He turned his head around to see the smiley Nora staring at him...
"You're not always like this Minato..." She pouted "You used to be happy and a cheerful child before-"
"That was before..." He stopped her "I'm not like that anymore...Get off me, let's go Nami..."
"Mi-"
"Oh Nami..." Nora begged me "Can you talk some sense into him?"
I looked her then look at Minato, who was...glaring at me...
"Nami..." His voice deepened "Let's go..."
He dragged me around the school when we bumped into Gray...
"Gray!" I exclaimed "I've got a favour for you..."
"Sure, What is it?" He questioned
"Can you distract Nora...She's kind of making Minato mad, I just need to calm him down..." I gave him a task
"No probs..." He said "Leave her to me..."
"Thank you..." I smiled "Come on Minato..."
We ran to the science rooftop so she won't see us. I quickly sat down, trying to catch my breath, as I stared into the blue sky.
"Who is that girl?" I spoke "Do you know her?"
"She's a girl you don't need to know..." He crossed his arms "You okay?"
I nodded as I leaned my head on the door. Who is she?
"Anyways..." I stood up "That doesn't matter. All we have to do is get through the day while trying to avoid her and you'll be fine..."
"I hope so..." He muttered "I wanna stay here until school ends, if that's okay with you..."
"Yeah..."
3:15pm- After school
"Is she there?" Minato questioned me
I peeked around the corner we hid and scanned the area if Nora was there...Left to right, up and down...
"It's clear.." I spoke "Let's go!"
We sprinted to the gate where we could finally be fre-
"Minato!!" Dammit....We got caught
I stopped and gave a look to Minato. We both turned around to reveal our 'innocent' faces...
"Hi...Nora..." I faked a smile at her
"Minato!" She hugged him "Don't you ever go away from me!"
He rolled his eyes "Alright, alright...Now get off me..."
As she got off Minato, I felt a slight pain in my chest. I shook my head as a car parked near the school gate. Suddenly, a man appeared out from the car, maybe suitable to be a dad or an uncle...
"Daddy!" Nora ran to him and hugged him tightly
"Hello sweetheart..." He kissed her on the head "....We meet again, Minato..."
"We do meet again, Mr. Smith..." Minato spoke....what is happening here?
"And who is girl?" He stared at me in disgust
"Oh..." I put my hand out "I'm Nami Sodaku; Minato's friend"
"So you made a friend..." Mr. Smith ignored my hand "I am very impressed..."
"Daddy!" Nora whined "Minato's cheating on me with that girl!!"
"Huh?" I blushed "No! We're just friends...wait, 'cheating?'"
"You didn't tell her Minato?" She questioned him
I looked at him, who was looking at the ground "Minato?"
"I guess he didn't tell you..." she sighed "Well then, I'll tell you..."
"Minato and I are engaged!"
