Most people think we used to be dangerous, but now we're fine. We were NEVER dangerous. OK maybe some of us were dangerous. GET OVER IT! There are going to be bad merpeople along the way and you just have to ignore them and keep on walking. Oh, sorry. You probably don't know who "we" are. We are the "dark" merpeople and this is the WHOLE truth. Later in this story you'll learn how we became known as the "dark mermaids". Let me rephrase that: Later in MY story. If this is my story I might as well tell you about me! I have two sisters. One is in her fourth year of college and the other is an adult now. I am sixteen (I know it's weird how I just so happen to be sixteen when all of this happened. I ALSO couldn't date til I was sixteen). My dad is a " dark" mermaid and my mom is a "light" mermaid so you can imagine how me and my sisters turned out. (Hey, if they are going to label us, we'll label you! We usually call them brats anyways). OK, I'll stop rambling, and tell you the story. Wait - I should probably tell you my name, it's Ebony. Now I'll stop rambling and get on with the story.
