Fighting for physical matter instead social and mental health

Kneeling at Jesus's cross with her hands open wide
Ready to work her hardest without a soul by her side
Dying hard for blind success the dead girl leaps ahead with pride
Not knowing the soul she purifies has long since sputtered and died

While living life the dead girl dies only communing at the church
For the sweet lively girl of the past, her loved ones look and search
The green she reaches with her hands keeps her visions well distorted
Til the dead girl, herself and soul, are seen as irreparably contorted.
