If a rose has thorns,
Why do you like it?
If a tree has rough bark,
Why do you like it?
If I have dark skin
And one small zit,
Why don't you like me?
If a rapper is a murderer,
Why do you like him?
If rock stars does drugs,
Why do you like them?
If I don't drink
'Cause I decided to think
Why don't you like me?
If he is tall and very attractive
But personality wise, extremely repulsive
Why do you like him?
If she is thin and has fair skin
But is a bitch in the end
Why do you like her?
If I am short and not that handsome
But I respect women and praise them in anthem
Why don't you like me?
If she is descent and okay in looks
And is nice and sincere,
And likes to read books,
If I would work hard
To please my girl
And she would do her best
To be the Queen of your world
While he does nothing
But makes you feel worthless
And she does everything
To lose your trustworthiness
Why don't you like me?
If on Valentines Day
You are a receiver
Who never seems to receive,
And I am a giver
With no one to give to
Why don't you like me?
Before there is a rose,
There is a thorny bush.
Before there is a cake,
There is a bowl of mush.
Before there is a swan,
There is an ugly duckling.
Before there is an oak,
There is a weak, weak sapling.
Most people believe that the good comes with the bad
But the truth is that sometimes good things start off as bad
Now what's the difference between a red rose and me
One question is simple, why don't you like me?
