One tear shed is one to many
No matter what the cause
I hate myself for what I've done
Although my intentions were purely good.
I meant no harm for what I said
I thought the truth could never hurt
I made myself think otherwise
And ended up in a pit.
You say you feel like you're not good enough for me,
But, it is me not good enough for you.
For me to point out imperfections
Was wrong in so many ways.
The way I feel compares nothing to the way you did,
And because of that I hurt even worst
I feel like I have walked
On a bed of burning nails.
My pain does not compare to yours
That I truly know,
So what the hell am I suppose to do
But it all in words?
Never forget the things I said
But please one day forgive
I am sure I deserve a second chance,
A chance to bloom again.
The tears I shed are ones I hate
A hate relayed to myself
I promise that I never hurt you again
A promise that will never be undone.
Please forgive me what I have said
And for what I have done
I will make it up to you I swear
From the bottom of my heart.
