Calum said that he'd be here when the party started, and he isn't. Even in my own home I felt awkward and uncomfortable.
May wore a very tight dress and some ballet flats, I have to admit she did look beautiful but still uncomfortable at the same time.
This dress that May got me for my birthday was small and tight, I couldn't breathe and I felt self-conscious. It was black and had long off-the-shoulder sleeves, I wore black stockings and converses with it though.
I didn't know half these people here, they all seemed popular. But I guess really this is Ashton's birthday party...not mine...no one really knows me.
Joe and Tommy, the two biggest stoners of 2016, stood near the staircase. They both puffed on a joint and coughed very loudly.
I averted my eyes to around the room, kinda hoping that Calum would show up somewhere.
I tugged at my waist and attempted to pull the dress off my body a little bit.
"You're actually pretty cool!" Luke admits to me, yelling over the music, I scoff slightly and smile.
"Thanks?"
I stood next to the stereo with Luke, he started talking to me about how he wanted to start a band with the guys and hope to get hell famous.
But I wasn't really listening, I kept my eyes on the front door hoping that Calum would show up. He was the only person I was looking forward to seeing during this whole night.
Lauren was sleeping at a friends place tonight, so was Harry. Mum, as usual, had to work late again. Which left the house in Ashton and I's hands, and that was a very stupid idea.
I was not prepared to have to clean up everyone's shît tomorrow. I hated cleaning.
Calum barges through the door, hitting a few people by accident.
I watched as he apologised, but I couldn't hear him due to the music.
He looked around the room, before finally meeting my eyes. Calum looked me up and down, making me blush.
He nodded, wide eyes and mouthed a 'wow'.
"So yeah, those are my life plans." Luke finished, taking a sip of his drink.
"Uh yeah cool Luke." I pat his shoulder and walk over to Cal.
I knew Calum didn't like labels, so I've got no idea what to call this relationship.
Friends? Boyfriend?
I don't know, the whole situation was stressful.
"You look hot." He said to me, I didn't know whether to lean in and press my lips to his...only because we were in front of people.
"Thank you." I replied.
"It's a pretty packed party."
"Yeah, pretty much all of Ashton's connections." I laughed.
Calum took a small step towards me before mumbling into my ear, "can we go to your room?"
I just nodded and held onto his hand, pulling him up the stairs and doing my best to stay attached to him.
We walked into my room and I locked the door behind us.
"If I'm being totally honest, I'm in no mood to party." He says.
"Me neither."
"So what do you wanna do?"
"I don't know, we could cuddle?"
"Yeah; and let's watch a movie."
I smiled and got my laptop; he laid down first, closest to the wall. I climbed into the bed with him and nestled into his broad chest.
Lord I am so lucky.
"What would you like to watch baby?"
"Baby? Seriously?"
"You know I love calling you pet names."
"Yeah, I know."
I started up my laptop and went straight to Netflix.
"Well, we could binge watch a TV show." I suggest.
"My god."
"What?"
"You're life must've been so boring without me." He chuckled.
Wow Calum, real nice.
I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that."
"Don't worry about it."
The music was still audible from in here, and it sucked.
"What about Cat in a Hat?" I suggest.
"Yeah alright." He murmurs.
I click on the movie and watch as it begins, Calum's hand snakes around my waist and gives me a tight squeeze.
"I've got my driving test tomorrow... Will you come with me?"
"Of course."
I kiss his cheek as a thanks.
"So, do you just hate pet names?"
"No. They're just cringeworthy sometimes.
"Well, how bout my pretty princess?"
I gulped and felt the heat rise to my cheeks, I coughed to cover up the fact that I WAS JUST CALLED A PRETTY PRINCESS.
"That's fine."
"Babygirl?"
"Yes?" He chuckled and pressed his lips to my temple.
"What about Babe and Baby?"
"Eh, don't mind them."
"Honey and sweetheart?"
"Sweetheart but not honey."
"Okay how bout...o-o-o sugar plum or cupcake?"
"Absolutely not."
"But it's food."
"Yeah I don't want to be referred to as food Calum."
"Well why the bloody hell not. I love food."
It got awkward and silent after that... So I turn my head to place a kiss on the corner of his mouth.
"Doll or darling?"
"Favourites."
"Really?"
"Yep."
"Wow, I would've pegged you to have a princess weakness."
"Who says I don't?"
"You continue to amaze me."
"What about you? Don't tell me you have a daddy kink."
Calum doesn't say anything, his face turns red and he does his best to avert his gaze.
"Calum Thomas Hood, you do not have a daddy kink right?"
"Uh-well I don't know. Don't judge me."
"You're so strange."
"What!? I just like the idea of dominance..."
I chuckle.
"Okay..now that we're on this topic of kinks...do you have any other ones?" I ask.
"Uh I don't know."
"Please tell me you hate feet."
"I hate feet." He mumbles.
"Same. They stink and they suck."
"Are you into bondage and that stuff?" I ask after a while.
"Jeez I don't know Evie, you're kinda putting me on the spot here..."
"Well do you or not?"
He pauses and sighs, "Sometimes."
"Actually though?!"
"I don't mind the simple 'let me tie you to the bed frame'."
"You sick fücker."
He laughs and rubs my hip.
"Evie can I tell you something?"
"Of course." I turn to look at him.
"You're still my absolute favourite loser of all time, and you always will be."

"Okay, so, truth or dare?" I questioned while scooping the ice cream with a spoon.
After various knocks came on the door all night and the music getting louder it only wanted Calum and I to hide away even more.
I had run down into the kitchen to grab us spoons and chocolate fondue ice cream, it's good to spend sometime alone with him.
"Truth." He says seriously.
"Would you rather marry Mila Kunis or Katy Perry?"
"Ugh fück you, probably Katy Perry."
"Yeah I have to admit that's a hard decision."
I eat some ice cream and wrap my legs around Calum's waist.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth, of course."
He pauses, thinking hard before eating some ice cream and look down at my legs.
"Do you regret us?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you regret us sleeping together? Do you regret this?" He gestured to us.
"Absolutely not. Why, do you?"
"No of course not, I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for you."
"You'd probably be in Ashton's bed screwing Courtney." I mumbled.
"Stop it, even if you are cute when you're jealous it's an ugly habit on women."
"But it's alright for you to be jealous?"
"Like I said, I'm the male and I must show dominance (I learnt that off the discovery channel)."
"Whatever, male, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to...snort the ice cream."
"You are the most immature girl I've ever met, when you said lets play truth or dare I thought you were talking about the sexual game. But no, you wanna be a child and make me fücking snort ice cream."
"Damn right I do, now get to snorting Hood."
"What do I snort it off?"
"Your hand."
He shakes his head goofily before scooping the ice cream up and placing it on his hand, then he leans down and presses a finger to a nostril, like he's done this before; and he snorts the ice cream.
"OW!" He yells while rubbing his nose violently, I fall back in a pit of laughter and struggle to catch my breath.
"You don't understand! That is so fricking cold! Ow oh my god!" He says while laughing, causing me to giggle harder. Chocolate ice cream dripped from his nose, I pass him a tissue and continued laughing.
"Moving on," he wipes his nose and cringes, "truth or dare?"
"Truth!"
"You can't do truth every single time!"
"Can and will to."
"I just snorted ice cream for you."
"Yes, you did."
"I'm gonna sigh dramatically, give me a moment."
"Alright."
He inhales deeply and then exhales loudly, making it more dramatic.
"Okay, so my question is...what would you do if Luke or Michael asked you out?"
"I would politely decline."
"And why's that? Because you're with me?"
"Well...I don't know. Am I with you?"
"You know how I feel about labels."
"Yeah, I do."
"But, I'm willing to give up that hatred for you."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean if you want to put a label on this we can."
"Okay?"
"Goddamnit Evie, will you be my girlfriend or what?"
