one day tyler asks him if he's okay.
sure he is. that's a dumb question. why wouldn't he be?
he asks tyler what he means by that.
tyler stammers for a couple seconds, then says that something seems off. about josh.
huh. what could be off about him? doesn't he act like this all the time?
apparently not. tyler looks at him strangely and repeats, again, if he's okay.
josh says of course he is. what seems off about him?
it seems tyler's prepared for this question, because he practically lays out a list of things. ouch. guess there's a lot of things wrong with josh.
1. he's too quiet. sure, he's always a bit shy, but now it's gotten worse, apparently.
2. nervous. any time someone speaks to him, he looks pale and looks for a way to get out of the conversation.
3. when's the last time josh remembered to take a shower?
okay, that one's a bit unfair. he showered yesterday. or two days ago. or...
look, he's just too tired to shower.
(he's too tired to do a lot of things.)
maybe tyler's got a point.
