"Bloody hell." Fiona and Justin both said it in unison.
"Surprise!" Said the two people standing in front of them with sly smiles on their faces.
"Surprise!! Are you freaking kidding me? What the hell have you two done to this place? And you are telling me surprise." Fiona shouted at both of them.
"Fiona, relax. Grace will clean this up!" Justin tried to calm Fiona down.
Fiona responded with a look that said, 'Are you kidding me?'
To which he just shrugged. Fiona gave him a warning glare, which made him shut up.
She moved towards the man, who had a shocked expression on his face.
"Look, Mister, I don't care if you are Justin's best friend. But I definitely know that you have destroyed my home, and you will clean this mess up within an hour."
Beside him, Em was smirking.
"Girl, you are helping him. You are not getting away from this." To which she tried to protest.
"I don't care if you are my best friend. You are also equally responsible." This shut her up.
"Now, you two listen very carefully to me. You both only have an hour to make my home look spotless. And if anything goes wrong, you will both be banned from my home. I don't care who is at fault; anyone who makes a mistake will be punished. So your time starts now."
Fiona was leaving the living area but stopped before seeing Justin standing there having a silent conversation with James.
"Justin, if you tried to bail him out or help him with his work, I wouldn't think twice before banning you both from entering these premises. And you will definitely be more than welcome to stay with your brother, Aaron."
With that, she left the room.
Justin's eyes were wide open. He followed Fiona into their bedroom with an amused expression.
"Did you actually tell me that you will ban me and my best friend and your best friend from our home?" He asked, laughing.
"Well, for your kind information, I wasn't joking when I said I would ban you as well. No one gets away from destructing my home."
"Well, it's my home too. So my decision should also count." He stated.
"When vandalizing is considered, then your decision will never be considered. And if Grace heard about today's incident, she herself would throw you out." She said it with her most innocent smile ever.
Fiona does know his biggest fear. Grace could be another scary woman, except for Em, who could scare the shit out of Justin. She would have cut him into pieces if it involved him in the vandalization of their home.
"You know I was never planning to help those two."
"That was before I warned you."
"Oh yeah." He said it nervously while rubbing his hand on his neck.
But before she could leave to change her clothes, Justin grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms.
"You know, I really liked how bossy you were out there with our best mates. I never knew that an innocent girl like could scare the shit out of anyone. And you are actually making them clean our living area."
"Well, there are lots of things that you don't know about me. And no one gets away with destroying our home, irrespective of the fact that our best friends are the ones at fault." She cracked a grin.
With that, she left to change her clothes.
When Fiona came back, she was once again amused, but this time by her looks. She wore cute bunny PJs and a loose top.
"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like this?" She brought him back to reality.
"How can you look so adorable while wearing a cute nightdress." He said to her.
She blushed.
"You know, if any other girl were in your place, she would be fussing over her looks to look good in front of people who were outside."
"Well, then I am not like them."
"And I am glad about it," and with that, he kissed her.
But their kiss was soon broken by a knock on the door.
"I will just open the door." Justin said to her.
"Dude, your place is spotless, so can the love of your life remove the restraining orders. At least mine, if not hers." James said.
"Excuse me, mister. I could say the same, you know." Em was glaring at James.
"Hmm, first I need to inspect the living area." Fiona said professionally.
They all went to the living area. "Good job, guys. You guys are more than welcome to barge into our place whenever you want." Fiona said, looking impressed.
"Yes," James and Em both did a fist pump in the air.
"So finally!! As we have not been introduced formally, I am James, your hubby's diaper buddy, aka his best friend. And also the one who would gladly love to share his embarrassing secrets with you." James moves his hand forward.
"Nice to meet you, James, and I will gladly take you up on that offer." Fiona shook his hand laughingly.
"Are you my best friend or her, dude?" Justin asked jokingly.
"Hah, sorry, bro. But your wife seems much more fun than you, and I won't think twice before spilling out your embarrassing secrets to her and, by the way, nice catch. By looking at her, I can say she is a keeper." James said.
But before Justin could say anything, Em spoke up.
"Of course, she is a keeper; after all, she is my best friend." Em smirked and linked her arm with Fiona's.
"You know you are the first person on this planet with whom I had a fight at first sight." James glared at me.
"You know, you were certainly the last person with whom I had a fight at first sight." Now Em was throwing daggers at James.
