Tony set up the bbq with chicken drumsticks, burgers, sausages, kebabs and more burgers while Ziva covered their table in all sorts of party food and drinks. The girls where happily playing when Jimmy, Breena and Victoria rang the doorbell, Tali rushed up to open the door before Kai could stop her
"Kaida" Tali yelled at her as she opened the door
"What's wrong" Ziva asked rushing in "who opened the door" Ziva demanded when she noticed it open "Tali?"
"It wasn't me Ima" Tali lied
"I can't walk" Kai stated going back to her game
"Tali what did we say about opening the door to strangers" Ziva asked carrying Tali to the steps
"Not to open it" she smiled
"So why did you open it" Ziva asked sitting her down
"Because it was Victoria" she wriggled trying to run to her
"You have to get me or Abba to open the door, okay" Ziva told her
"Sorry Ima" Tali said
"It's okay Tali but you need to sit here for 3 minutes" Ziva said walking over to their guests who where awkwardly standing at the side watching Ziva.
After the Palmers arrived it didn't take long for everyone else except Jenny and Bishop to arrive, as soon as Tali was allowed off the step she ran to play with Kai and Victoria, Kai couldn't really walk properly so she stayed on the sofa and Victoria and Tali had to bring the toys over to her.
Fornell introduced Emily to Vances son and daughter Jared and Kayla. The door bell rang as everyone was walking into the garden "Ellie" Tony smiled
"Hey Tony, where's the birthday girls" she asked hoping that 'she' wouldn't be noticed
"They're on the sofa, who's this" Tony asked crouching down
"This is Olivia" Bishop said hoping Tony wouldn't press further
"Who is she" he smiled
"my daughter" she mumbled
"You have a daughter" he grinned confused
"Yes, she's one and no Jake doesn't know" she rushed praying he would leave it at that
"Okay, the girls are with Victoria on the sofa if she wants to plays with them" Tony smiled finally shutting the door.
Tony explained to Ziva quickly then carried on serving people at the barbecue.
"Ima" Tali said pulling on Ziva's top
"Yes Tal"
"Kai's hungry" Tali told her
"Okay, thank you I'll bring food soon" Ziva promised kissing her forehead and sending her back to the other room. Ziva set up Victorias, Kai's and Tali's high chairs at the dining table, she put a plate of food on each then sat Kai, Victoria and Olivia in them. Tali promised to sit sensibly at the normal table so Ziva got her a couple pillows and tucked her in at the table.
When they finished eating Ziva took the three girls out of their highchairs and let Tali down from the table. Ziva bounced Kai around on her hip as she was getting agitated, there was a quiet knock on the door, Ziva wouldn't have heard it but she happened to be walking past.
"Shalom Ziva" Jenny greeted her kissing each of her cheeks
"Shalom Jenny" Ziva replied kissing back, Kai smiled at Jenny from Ziva's hip
"How are the girls" Jenny asked
"They are good, Kai needs physical therapy and Tali has a broken arm" Ziva told her leading her inside "how are you alive" Ziva asked sitting down with Kai on her lap, Kai fiddled with Ziva's necklace
"It was Heather who got shot not me" "Heather and I where identical, you and Tony wouldn't have been able to tell us apart" Jenny said eating a sausage roll
"Gibbs would" Ziva said feeling stupid
"Yes, he could always tell" she smiled
"Why didn't you tell us you where alive" Ziva asked
"Trent Kort wanted me dead" "then I didn't know how to come back" she said sipping her Coke
"I am glad you're okay" Ziva said leading her outside to everyone else, Jimmy was with Bishop and the other three girls on the trampoline, Kayla, Jared and Emily where sitting on a picnic blanket talking and the rest of the adults where spread out along the garden.
"Hey guys, Jenny's here" Ziva announced playing with a Kai, everyone chatted happily Kai fell asleep on Ziva and the other girls ran around together.
After playing for 3 hours everyone gathered in the girls playroom so the girls could open their presents. Tony and Ziva got them two stuffed toys, two new backpacks for when they started daycare and loads of movies like the lorax and ice age.
Jenny bought them six stuffed beanie boos to share, the Fornells got them an adorable light up bunny, a plastic container for sweets with a white bunny on top and two tsum tsums that where Minnie and Mickey Mouse.
McGee and Abby put their money together to get them a kiddie cam each, a tamagotchi each, cute people coat hangers and Abby managed to find baby versions of her caf-pows but they where refillable.
The Vances got them everything Lilo and Stitch themed, two matching drinks, two different stuffed toys and the Lilo and Stitch movie.
Bishop and Olivia got them matching frozen watches, hairband hearts, pens and a huge box of littlest pet shops.
Clayton got them rocket pencils, coloring pens and identical stuffed bears in pyjamas, the Palmers got the girls the same matching bears but slightly lighter and in pink pyjamas instead of blue, a couple shopkins blind bags and lots of toy food.
Anthony DiNozzo Sr (Tony's dad) got them at least 20 barbie dolls.
Then finally all that was left was Gibbs and Ducky, they opened Gibbs smallest present first which was some dolls for their dollhouse then they opened Duckys present which was two AG dolls and eventually they opened Gibbs last present which was a handmade (by him) white bunk bed with pink sheets for the two AG dolls.
The girls loved their presents, Kai was obviously still restricted to one place so Ziva let them open the toy food, Kai was the cashier person and Victoria, Olivia and Tali where customers. As soon as everyone left they went straight to sleep.
