Heyyyyyy guyssss! I'm hyped up on sugarrrrrrrrr cuz i went to a friends house and we ate cookies! Tomorrow I get to see what my part is in my school play and IM SO EXCITED! And today was just a good day for me sooo yaa!! Its like 11:00 here and I should be going to bed because i have school tomorrow but seriously screw it

Everyone loves him. He's popular, he's good looking, he plays guitar and football and he's really nice.
Me.
I have a few friends. I wear glasses and flare jeans, I like to read and draw and I'm very quiet.
Niall and I are best friends. We have been for as long as I can remember. I like him, he likes me, we hangout a lot.
"Kyla are you going to prom tomorrow?" He asked.
"No, probably not." I answered.
"Why not?!"
"I'm just not." Translation: I want to go with Niall but he will have zillions of girl chasing after him to be his date. He won't wanna go with his awkward, shy best friend.
That next night I went home. I was in my basement looking through some books because I wanted something to read. Suddenly a book from the top shelf fell down. I picked it up. It was a scrapbook I made when I was nine. It was a best friend album with me and Niall. I looked through it. It was filled with so many memories. I knew he was at the prom, but I texted Niall a picture of us with frosting on our noses from my 10th birthday. I miss those days. The days I wasn't afraid to be myself. The days when Niall and I would hang out for hours. I really miss that.

I do have a dress in my closet...I went upstairs and put it on. It was a long royal blue dress. I put on some black high heels, put my hair in a braid, did some quick makeup and headed to my prom.
I walked in the door. One girl noticed me. She was staring. I recognized her as a girl from my math class.
"Kyla?!" She asked surprised.
I nodded. Soon, other girls were staring at me. They backed out of the way as I walked towards them. I finally found my way to Niall. He turned his head and his face lit up. He was just talking to one of his friends until I walked up. He came over to me.
"You look beautiful." I blushed.
"Thanks." I whispered. A slow song came on.
"Wanna dance?" He asked.
"Ya." I said awkwardly. That dance made me feel so happy. I think I realized I loved Niall. And I think he realized his feelings too because at the end of that song he leaned in and kissed me.
And that was the start of a beautiful relationship.
