I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I shot up, blacking out for a second and then regained focus. The smell of breakfast drifted up the stairs and into my room calling me!
I jumped out of bed and quickly threw on the clothes I laid out the night before.
"Today’s the day" I told myself, walking down the stairs.
"Hey honey I hope you’re in the mood for eggs." He asked teasingly.
"Ha-ha dad real funny!" I said throwing a plastic spoon at him.
Mollie came in the kitchen, and went straight to her spot at the table. She looked all grown up in her outfit, some tight skinny jeans and a loose shirt and straight hair. She looked like mom.
"Hey sissy, you ready for school?" I asked her.
"What do you think?"
"Um...why so mean?" I asked her
"Why so many questions?" She half yelled.
"Girls that enough." My dad said with a stern voice.
I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I had curly hair, skinny jeans, and a T-shirt that said "I'm kinda a BIG deal" on it!
