ANGELA'S POV :-
Suddenly, Mr. Jerkhead stopped walking. I looked up only to find ourselves standing besides his long car. He then safely put me on the ground and opened the back passenger door of his car for me. I immediately got inside the car and he too did the same. For the entire ride, I kept looking out of the window. I was too embarrassed to even look at his face. But from the corner of my eyes, I saw him constantly staring at me. I ignored the fact that he was watching me and continued pretending to look out of the window.
Suddenly the car came to a halt in front of a huge mansion or may I say palace. I looked around to find Noah already out of the car and running towards my side of the door. Like a gentleman, he opened the door for me and offered his hand for me to take. I placed my small hand in his huge one and got out of the car,
"You know that you don't have to act like you are a gentleman in front of me. Your such stupid acts are not going to work on me, Mr. Noah." I said, looking directly in his eyes. For a second, I felt like I saw hurt in his eyes. But no, it can't be hurt. This man can never get hurt. He always hurts others and plays with their feelings. He can't get hurt by my words. After all who am I to him? Nothing but someone he has to tolerate since he can't get his money back. I don't know why he wants to marry me, but I definitely know that there will be one of his selfish reasons behind this marriage. But no worry, sooner or later I will find it out.
He didn't say anything in return, but just intertwined our fingers and started walking towards the door of the mansion. I quitely followed him. When we reached at the door, Noah ringed the bell and we patiently waited for someone to open the door. Finally a woman, maybe in her early fifty's, opened the door. Another woman, looking few years younger than her, was standing besides her. Behind them, two elder looking men, may be in their early fifty's, and one younger looking man, may be in his late twenty's, were standing, along with three other women, out of which two women looked a year or two younger than me and the third one was looking a year or two elder than me.
The woman who opened the door immediately engulfed Noah in a hug,
"Oh my son. How happy I am to see you!" The woman told Noah and finally released him. She then turned towards me and asked me,
"You might be Angela, am I right?" She said and I just nodded my head in agreement. She then suddenly engulfed me in a very tight but motherly hug. I don't know why but I had this strange urge to hug her back and so I did the same. The woman finally released me and smiled widely at me,
"Oh my God! How beautiful you are!," she said lookikng at me and then turned towards Noah,
"Great choice, my son. You don't know how much happy I am, just by listening the news that you are getting married. I very soon want to see my grandchildren running in this house," she said, playfully tapping at Noah's arm. My cheeks started getting red and I tried very hard to stop them but I can't. I guess that Noah noticed my embarrassment, because he immediately squeezed my hand, which was in his hand, to make me feel somewhat comfortable.
"Mom stop it!" Noah told the woman. Oh, so she is his mother.
The woman just giggled like a teenage girl and pinched Noah's cheek,
"Oh look here who is getting embarrassed but no worry, I will stop now, my son," she told Noah and turned towards me,
"Angela, I am Ava, Noah's mother and I welcome you to our family," she told me and then pointed at one of the two older looking men,
"And he is Kristian, my husband and Noah's father." She told me.
Kristian waved at me and gave me a really very heartly smile and so I too did the same and he nodded his head at me.
"You are really a very pretty girl." Ava told me. I smiled at her and she too did the same. Suddenly the other elderly looking woman lightly pushed Ava aside,
"You are taking so long. Now it's my turn," the woman told Ava and hugged me tightly. After releasing me, she finally introduced herself to me,
"Hello pretty girl. I am Anna, Noah's aunt or you can say Ava's sister. And he is George, my husband, Kristian's brother and Noah's uncle," she said, pointing at the other older looking man. Wait! She said that she is Ava's sister, but she also said that her husband is Kristian's brother. Oh my God! I am really very confused now!
Like she can read my mind, she immediately answered my query,
"Yes, you are thinking right, pretty girl. Me and Ava are sisters and we married these two brothers," she said pointing at the two older looking men. Oh how cute it is! Isn't it? Two sisters married two brothers and came in the same house and are living together happily.
"And he is Dean, my and George's son," she said pointing at the younger looking man. Oh so he is Noah's cousin. I smiled and waved at him and he too did the same.
Anna was then about to introduce the girl, who looked one or two years elder than me, but she immediately stopped her,
"No aunt, I will introduce myself to my pretty sister-in-law," she said, playfully pouting like a kid and then came and stood in front of me,
"Hello miss beauty, I am Ashley, Noah elder sister," she said and hugged me. I hugged her back and she finally released me,
"And those two are Rose and Jasmine. They are Anna's daughters and Noah's younger sisters," Ashley said pointing at the other two girls, who looked younger than me. "And yes, they are twins," Ashley continued. Yes, the two girls looked exactly the same. They too smiled and waved at me and so I did the same.
