You sleepwalk.
Klaus turned sleepily around, and with one eye barely open, he saw your side of the bed empty. He sighed, rubbing his eyes with his fists and he pulled the blankets off himself and got up, blinking in exhaustion. He walked downstairs, to see you walking in circles around the kitchen. He was still fascinated as to how you could possibly walk downstairs while you were asleep.
He very gently directed you towards the stairs, then walked behind you as you walked upstairs, in a daze. You walked into your bedroom and crawled back into bed. Klaus kissed your forehead.
"Sleep tight my love", he whispered, before quickly falling back to sleep.

Only an hour later, Klaus felt an empty presence, and sure enough, when he opened his eyes, you were gone. He huffed slightly, before getting up again. This time, you were in Klaus's painting room, softly touching his paintings.
He lightly directed you back to bed, where you lay in total peace. Klaus knew he should have stayed awake to make sure you were okay, but he was asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

" Morning ", you said gently, as you kissed Klaus's cheek. He smiled softly, relieved you were okay, and safe in bed.
" Hey beautiful ", he said, rubbing his eyes as he sat up.
" You look tired", you said, gently rubbing the bags under his eyes in concern.
"I'm fine", he said lightly.
" Was I sleepwalking again last night?", you asked, biting your lip in guilt. Klaus moved your lip from your teeth with his thumb.
"No. I was the one tossing and turning all night", he assured you. He was unwilling to tell you to truth, as he refused to let you feel guilty all day.
You looked at the edge of your bed, and saw your slippers there. They were only ever at the edge of your bed after you were sleepwalking. You knew you had been, and you knew Klaus was trying to protect you from feeling bad. You also knew he must have woken several times to assist you, as he looked totally exhausted.
" Tossing and turning all night? Why would you be tossing and turning all night? ", you asked, playing along.
" Just thinking about my beautiful wife, and how I'm so lucky ", he said, raising an eyebrow.
" That's definitely going to get you some brownie points ", you grinned.
" That was kinda the plan", he shrugged, his lips twitching.
"I know I was sleepwalking you idiot. You can tell me. I feel like crap that I kept you up, but you can tell me. Thank you though", you said, as you straddled his lap, your arms around his neck. His hand rested on your waist.
" You knew?", he asked in amazement.
"Yeah, I know you think you're an evil genius, but when it comes to me, you're the world's worst liar", you told him. He grinned.
" I'm not that bad", he said defensively.
"You're bad", you argued, as you laughed lightly. " I promise I'll try to sleepwalk less", you told him.
"It's not your fault Y/N", he told you firmly.
" Well it's not like it's yours. Who's else is it?", you questioned. He looked at you softly, opening his mouth to argue. "I'll try to stop", you repeated. " I love you, even when you look like you're about to collapse of exhaustion ", you grinned.
" I love you, even when you're sleepwalking and resemble the banshee", he said teasingly. You laughed, before kissing him softly.
