It took forever, through harsh territory and severe climate change that Dan and Phil were able to find another place to stay, in a little town called Blacde to stay for the night.
Dan and Phil walked up to the counter
Dan hit the bell
a lady with fine lines on her face appeared before the boys.
"Yes may I help you?" She asked in a Russian accent
"Can we stay here for the night?" Dan asked trying to use his good looks and charm to win this lady over since they had no money
The lady glared at Dans smiling face and quickly threw a room key at Phil which he caught.
"Here you go, but keep this one out of my sight" she said pointing to Dan
"I don't like him"
She then disappeared
Phil hit Dan on the back as he began to laugh
Dan shook his head
"Come on let's go" Dan said has he hit Phil in the back of the head
"Ow"Phil said as rubbed his head and followed Dan to room 215
Dan and Phil sat their bags down in this old tiny room with floral wall paper and two beds, it looked like something from 1912.
"So tell me why would Veronica want to kill you since she's clearly a vampire now?" Dan asked as he looked through his bag
Phil sat down and shrugged
"I think it's my brothers doings, he's asked her to kill me so he can have the throne and the only way to do that is with this amulet"
Phil pulled a green amulet out of his pocket, Dan was flabbergasted.
"How long has that amulet been on you?" He asked
Phil laughed
"Since I ran away, I kept it because I knew it could be used against me"
Dan shook his head
"Didn't you say that Veronica was the only one who knows we're the amulet is?" Dan asked
Phil got wide eyed
"Oh no that's why Veronica attacked me"
Dan face palmed
"What are we gonna do now since there is a maniac trying to kill you?" Dan asked
Phil shrugged
"Try to get back to the castle and get my mom and dad to help us"
"Hey why don't we just brake the stupid amulet?" Dan asked reaching for the amulet
Phil slapped Dan's hand away
"No we can't just brake it, it's got to be broken by a certain someone a "chosen" one I guess you could call them"
"Whose the Chosen one?" Dan asked
Phil but the amulet of Corgon back in his pocket
"No one knows, but they do say the Chosen one has to sacrifice his or her self for something or someone" Phil said
Dan snorted
"That really helps this situation out a lot thanks Phil" Dan said sarcastically
Phil giggled
"Come on its getting late, let's go to sleep" Phil said
Dan got in his bed and Phil laid down in his
"Good night Phil"
"Goodnight Dan"
"I love you" Dan said smiling
Phil smiled
"I love you to"
Then they both fell fast asleep
Later that night🌙
The door of their room slowly creaked opened, the light from outside in the hallway hit Phil in the eyes which made him open them wide.
Phil sat up and rubbed his eyes, he decides to get up and close the door but before he can close it he hears a little girl say
"Do you know where Amazake is?"she asked
Phil opened the door all the way and right in front of him was a tiny girl with brown curly hair, she was also wearing a white night gown and look to be about 5 years old
"No do you mean the drink?" Phil asked
The little girl just looked at Phil with her giant green eyes and began to walk
away
Phil looked at her confused
"Wait come back!" Phil yelled as he ran after her, but even with his vampiric speed he didn't catch up to her and she was gone
Phil sighed and decided to go back to his room

4 am
Veronica slid in Dan and Phil's room silent as a mouse
"Now where is that amulet?" She asked herself
She looked around and in the corner of her eye she saw a glimmer of something in Phil's pocket
Veronica smiled
"You sneaky, sneaky vampire, clever of you to keep it on you"
The walked over to Phil and slowly grabbed the amulet from his pocket, she was half expecting him to wake up and grab her wrist but he didn't
But she did she some blood on the corner of his mouth
She smiled
"Late night feeding I presume?" She asked
Veronica looked at the green amulet and rubbed it's smooth form
"You know I could kill you with this right now and I want to so bad but sadly only a few know how to work it, your brother and a few legendary vampire hunters just to name a few, that's why I'm going to give this too him and then after he uses it on his little brother I'm going to kill him and become human again"
Veronica put it in her pocket and slowly went out of the room, silent and secure.

Morning
Dan sat up and stretched
"Wow that was probably the best night sleep I've had in a long time"
Dan looked over at Phil and saw that he was still fast asleep
"Oh yeah Vampires usually sleep during the day" Dan said to him self
Dan got up and decided to go outside to get some fresh air
He looked back at Phil and smiled he then left the room
Phil laid in bed, his breaths slow, a drizzle of blood fell from the corner of his mouth

Dan walked outside as the sun hit his face and made him smile.
He decided to go take a morning stroll and maybe find a bite to eat.
There was no restaurant to be seen in miles so Dan had no choice but to catch something.
He knew that werewolves were professional catchers and hunters... But Dan couldn't even catch a cold if he wanted to.
In the corner of his eye Dan saw a rabbit eating some grass, He bent down and slowly walked over to the rabbit growling.
Dan then pounced and landed right on his face.He could hear the bunny laughing at him which made things even worse.
Dan sat up and wiped the dirt from his face.... The rabbit was gone.
The best thing to do was to go back to the room and check up on Phil

Dan walked into the room to discover that Phil was still fast asleep which was odd
He walked over the sleeping form that was Phil and shook him
"Phil wake up" Dan said
Phil groaned and sat up
Dan was shocked by his appearance, his eyes were blood shot and he had bags underneath them and then another stream of blood fell from the corner of his lips.
"Did you have something to eat while I was gone?"Dan asked
Phil wiped the corner of his mouth and looked at his fingertips... Blood
Then all of a sudden nausea hit like a train.
Phil stood up and had to find a place to vomit before he threw up on the floor
Thankfully there was a bathroom in their room and Phil ran straight to that
Dan watched Phil as threw up streams of this black like substance that could only be one thing.... Blood.
Dan rubbed Phil's back and gave him a towel to wipe his mouth.
"Do vampires ever throw up....blood?" He asked
Phil stood up and went back to his bed
"Not unless their really sick" Phil said
"What could have caused this?" Dan asked
Phil scratched his head and thought about what happened last night... He then got wide eyed
"The Amazake-babaa" Phil glared
