"What are you doing here" asked Kinuko.
"Shinigami are God's of Death not your personal guards. How do I know he won't kill you?" He replied.
We carried on walking. Soon we arrived at a dead end, the drunk man grabbed Haruku and pushed him into the wall. He walked towards Kinuko, I panicked an grabbed my Death Note. I looked at the man.
"What are you doing? You'll die!" Said Ryuk.
I stood an thought. Meanwhile the man had Kinuko against the wall, he reached into his pocket. He had a knife. Haruku pushed himself up from the ground.
"H-h-help her" he said, he was obviously weak.
I looked down to the floor. What was I supposed to do? There was only one thing I could do. I pulled my Death Note out of its bag and began to write. He was slowly moving the knife towards Kinuko. He didn't look like he knew what he was doing.
I began getting weak again, the man fell to the floor. I could feel my legs crumbling away. I fell to the floor, and looked up at Kinuko and smiled a shinigami smile (which wasn't much of a smile).
At that moment I began to feel human again. What was this strange feeling? Whatever it was, it felt amazing.
