Beth's POV
Waking up, I was finally with Jake again. I know it sounds pathetic but I can't be without him.
"Morning, babe." I said rolling onto his chest.
"Morning." He said and smiled.
Quickly, I kissed his cheek and jumped off the bed.
*Ring Ring*
Jake picked up his phone and answered it.
Jake's POV
My phone had rang and I picked it up.
Hello?
Hey, Jake. Start your plan. Go on the date...
But it's morning.
Look at the time... it is 11:38.
Oh, I just woke up.
Yeah, I can tell. Start the plan!
Okay, will you be at your house?
I'll pick you and her up at the restaurant after dinner.
Okay.
Okay, bye.
Bye.
I hung up the phone and looked at Beth. Her eyes softened when her eyes met mine.
"It was Rhett. He wants me to start the plan." I said to her.
I saw her eyes fill with rage.
"What the hell is wrong with him???" She yelled.
I walked towards her and held her. Slowly, she relaxed in my grasp and held me.
"Beth, it will be okay." I said.
"Yeah, you're right." She said shaking her head.
I grabbed my phone and called the police station.
Hello.
Hey, my brother Rhett is planning on murdering Beth. He was the one who stabbed Jane.
Oh, okay. Where is he?
He will be at the diner. Probably in a red car. Later tonight.
Okay. Keep us updated.
Will do.
Bye.
I hung up the phone and set it on the counter.
Jane's POV
Waking up, I saw Brett holding my hand.
"Well, Morning sunshine." Brett said to me.
"Morning." I said sitting up in my bed.
He squeezed my delicate hand and kissed my cheek.
"Hey." Beth said as she walked in the room.
"Hi." I said to Beth excited she came.
"So, how are you doing?" She asked me.
"I'm still a little achy but otherwise good. How are you?" I asked Beth.
"I'm fine." Beth said smiling at me.
Beth's POV
After Jane and I talked for a while, nausea hit me.
"Are you okay?" Jane asked me when she saw my face filled with discomfort.
"I think so..." I said before I felt bile rise in my throat.
Quickly, I ran over to the trash can, knowing I couldn't get to the bathroom in time.
"Beth?" Jane called for me.
I was on the floor next to the trash can letting it out. Once I was finished, I got off of the floor and saw Jane's face filled with concern.
"Are you okay?" She asked me.
"Uh, yeah." I said.
She looked at me and Brett just gave a smirk. I knew what he was thinking... he thinks I'm pregnant.
"Okay, well I need to go." I said to Jane and Brett.
Jane nodded at me and waved me goodbye. I waved back and walked out of the hospital. Jake said he would meet me here.
"Hey!" Jake yelled pulling up.
"Hey." I said as I got into the passenger seat.
"We need to go to Walmart." I said to him.
"Okay." He said as he drove off.
As we arrived at the store, Jake looked at his phone.
"Something wrong?" I asked him.
"No." He said quickly.
"Okay, well you can stay here. I'll be back." I said getting out of the truck.
"No, I'm going with you." He said.
I could tell he wasn't going to budge so I let him.
"Okay, let's go." I said as I grabbed his hand.
We walked into the store and Jake had no idea what was going on. Once we got to the pregnancy tests, Jake had a look of shock.
"Are you?" He asked confused.
I shrugged my shoulders and looked at the tests. After grabbing one, we headed to the checkout.
"Beth?" Jake said as we were leaving the store.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"I love you and I have to do this for you. Please forgive me." Jake said.
"What are you talking about?" I asked him confused.
Then someone from behind me threw a black bag over my head.
"Jake, what the hell?" I yelled as I kicked the man in the groin.
He yelped in pain and quickly took the bag off to see Jake running to the truck.
"Jake!?!" I yelled as I ran to him.
"Beth, stop. Go with him. It will be safe there. Call me when you hear anything about being pregnant." Jake said as he got in the truck.
"Please, Jake." I said but he drove off before he had to answer.
Then the bag went over again and I kept struggling although the man knew my strengths now.
"Just stay still. It will be fine." A man said bringing me to a van.
I trusted Jake and I'm hoping he did this for a good reason. Getting in the van, I wrapped up the Walmart bag and put it in my coat pocket.
Jake's POV
I know Beth will be mad I did this but it was for her safety. There was no time to explain because I have to keep her safe.
Rhett had texted me wondering why I wasn't at the restaurant. Later, he had texted me while leaving the store. He had said he is coming for Beth and I. Knowing I didn't have much time, I had to have them take Beth away. Rhett would be able to get her even if she is protected by police. I had to get her out of state.
