"Are you sure you want to go and see her right now?" Stiles asked me as we walked down the stairs of my house.

I had the strongest desire to go and try to visit Lydia for some reason. I think it had a lot to do with what Stiles and I had been talking about earlier but I'm just not sure. I know that the odds of actually getting in to see her are slim, but I wanted to at least try it.

"I'm sure." I said simply.

Stiles nodded, "Alright."

We stepped through the entryway of my house and I pulled the door shut, inserting my key in the lock and twisting it to ensure the safety of all the belongings inside. I dropped my keys in the small handbag that Lydia had given me and quickly approached the Stiles' dads car.

Stiles opened the door for me and I slid up onto the seat, buckling my seatbelt as he closed the door. I glanced at the screen of my phone to see if I had any missed calls or texts from anyone but all I saw was the photo of Stiles kissing my cheek that I had set as the background. I haven't heard from Liam or Scott all night so who knows what the hell they're even doing.

Moments later Stiles hopped up into the car and started it up, surprisingly his dad is letting him use it while the jeep is getting worked on. I'm not sure if the jeep even has any hope left in it but maybe it will pull through. It's sort-of sad that it's having problems, mainly because we've had so many memories in that thing and it would be a shame to have to tell it goodbye. I'm sure that it can get fixed though.

Stiles backed out of the driveway and eased onto the street, turning on the radio and letting the music fill the otherwise silent car. I really hope that we can get in and see Lydia tonight. I haven't seen her since she'd been admitted and I feel terrible for not visiting her sooner. I know that if the situations were reversed she would have come and seen me by now, granted I have had sort of a lot going on lately so there is a reason as to why I've been severely lacking in the best friend department.

My hand reached up to the side of my head, just behind my ear and I scratched at my scalp. That particular spot has been bothering me all day. I'm not sure what it is but it just itches. Stiles placed his hand on my thigh and gave it a gentle squeeze, "Back to crazy town we go."

"This place still gives me the creeps." I muttered to Stiles as we waited outside of the gate of Eichen House.

I couldn't sleep, and after Stiles' heartfelt declaration of love all I wanted to do was save him and all my friends because they meant the world to me. He believes in me and that means I need to do something to help, rather than do something to destroy. Which is why I wanted to visit Lydia. I had a dream about someone shouting at me to break the glass, and for some reason I feel like it was tied to Lydia... which meant that I had to go and see her.

Stiles nodded as he glanced around the empty courtyard, "This place will always give me the creeps."

"We need to find a way to get her the hell out of here, because it's not safe for her to be in this psychotic hell hole." I sighed in exasperation.

For some reason Natalie signed Lydia up for treatment here and I wanted to scream at the women for making such a bad decision. If only she knew that sort of shady shit that went down inside these walls. I've never had a good experience with Eichen House, nor do I think I ever will. It's run by people that should be patients here. I have a feeling they have Lydia in the closed unit, because they no doubt know what she is... which means she's down with all the real crazy people.

The gate buzzed and slowly slid open, Stiles and I glanced at each other wearily before grabbing each others hands and stepping inside the gate. I have no idea if anyone else has came to see Lydia yet, or if we will even be allowed to see her. With the way that her mother was acting when I tried to see her at the hospital, I can only imagine how she'll act here. This place will make anyone crazier than they already are.

Stiles was leading the way and I couldn't help but flinch when I heard the gate slide back to being closed... meaning we were trapped in here. I squeezed Stiles' hand and swallowed thickly, this is it. I'm actually going back inside of Eichen House, willingly at that. Stiles glanced at me and quirked an eyebrow, "You okay?"

I nodded, "Yeah, just a little nervous."

"It's okay, I won't let anyone hurt you." he assured me with a small smile.

I chuckled, "I'm the one with the supernatural abilities, I think I'll be the one protecting you."

"Stop trying to steal my thunder." Stiles said while rolling his eyes.

We had reached the entrance to Eichen and he pulled the big double doors open so we could walk inside. The lobby was dead silent and eerily empty. I swallowed the lump that was forming in my throat and followed behind Stiles as he made his way to the front desk. The guy working had extremely gelled hair and a smirk that could only be described by the word icky. I took a step closer to Stiles, simply because I didn't like the way that this guys eyes were trailing up and down my body.

"We are here to see Lydia Martin." Stiles stated evenly, obviously not playing around.

The guy tore his gaze from my chest to Stiles' face and smirked, "She isn't allowed any visitors."

"Well, maybe you can make an exception because this is kind of important." Stiles retaliated, not taking no for an answer.

The receptionist glanced back at me but continued to speak to Stiles, "I'm under strict instruction to not let anyone see her."

I opened my mouth to say something about this guys disgusting behavior but before I could, the sound of heels clicking on the tile floor drew my attention. I whipped my head in the direction of the sound and saw Natalie walking towards Stiles and I with a questioning look on her face. I sighed, "Crap."

"What are you two doing here?" Natalie asked, and Stiles sighed in defeat the moment that he heard her voice.

I decided to speak up first, "We came to see Lydia. We are worried about her."

"I was just telling them that she isn't allowed to have any visitors." the guy from behind the desk butted in, and I wanted to lean across the counter and smack him upside the head for being a pain in the ass.

Natalie bit down on her lip as her eyes darted between Stiles and myself, "Nobody has tried to come and visit her.."

"Probably because of how you acted at the hospital." Stiles stated flatly, not amused with this conversation in the slightest.

She sighed, "I'll allow them to see her, maybe their presence will help her snap out of this trance she's in."

"Mrs. Martin--"

"She's my daughter and if I want them to see her, then they will see her. Now it may not be for very long but maybe just a short visit will suffice." Natalie cut the guy off with a stern look.

My eyes widened considerably, because never in a million years did I think I would see Natalie Martin standing up for Stiles and myself... but it just happened. Stiles glanced at me and mouthed the word "wow" before Natalie looked back to us.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her hesitantly, I didn't want to get downstairs and then have to walk all the way back up because she decided that it wasn't in Lydia's best interest to see us.

She nodded, "I'm as sure as I can be about this. I don't know what else to do with her, maybe hearing you two talk will jolt something inside of her, bring her to her senses or something."

"We can try,"

The walk to Lydia's room was spent with me clutching on to Stiles' arm tightly, and keeping my eyes squeezed shut as the patients in the room shouted things at us. Thankfully, because I am a chimera I'm able to cross the mountain ash that is lining the halls in this place. The main reason I was so uncomfortable is because every time we come here something bad happens and I'm just waiting for something bad to happen again.

Natalie stopped outside of a room and she looked at the two of us, "She doesn't look the best right now, so try not to let it get to you."

"Okay." Stiles nodded as Natalie opened the door and allowed us access to my best friends room.

When I saw her laying on the bed with her eyes wide open and glued to the ceiling, my stomach dropped. It was still Lydia, that much was obvious but she didn't look like herself. She wasn't smiling and her makeup wasn't on and her lipgloss was shining and I honestly felt like the floor was just falling from underneath me. I have never seen Lydia look so lifeless and it's throwing me for a loop.

Immediately I took the seat beside her bed and said, "Oh Lydia..."

I could feel tears brimming my eyes and I blinked rapidly to try and make them go away. I am not going to cry in front of Natalie, the only reason she is letting us in here is because she thinks that it may help Lydia in some way. Stiles stood behind me and placed his hands on my shoulders.

I know it's crazy to think that this girl is my best friend, but she is. Even though I used to hate her and everything she stood for, but now she's like my sister. I can't imagine a life without her constant teasing about how much black I wear or having her there as a shoulder to cry on if I need it. Lydia Martin truly is a queen, like she always thought she was, but I could never see it until recently. Other than Scott and Stiles, she's the one who's always been there for me.

"Hey Lydia," Stiles said softly, "your teachers gave us some of the stuff you guys are working on. They wanted us to hold onto it for you. I saw something about the, uh, Riemann Hypothesis. Um, things like, nontrivial zeros, zeta functions and a lot of other stuff that goes totally over my head. Maybe you can wake up and explain it to me?"

Lydia's eyes never blinked and she just continued to stare at the ceiling. I wanted to scream because this is not what was supposed to happen. Lydia was not supposed to get hurt and Lydia was not supposed to be sent into Eichen House. Theo managed to ruin everything once again.

"Come on Lydia, you have to come back to us--" I was saying this to her as I grabbed her hand but the moment that our skin came into contact I felt a sharp wave of pain shoot up my arm and into my head. Everything went black and I fell to the floor, covering my ears from the harsh screaming that was now echoing around in my skull.

I sat up with a gasp, completely unaware of my surroundings and where I was at. The first thing that I saw, was that I was laying on the ground, because I was currently looking at a wall. A glass wall. A wall that I recognize to be part of Eichen House. I winced as I pushed myself up into a standing position and I froze when I saw Lydia standing a few feet beside me. She was holding her hip, looking outside the wall at something.

"Lydia?"

She spun around at the sound of my voice. Her eyes went wide and she nearly collapsed when she saw me, "Kasey?"

I pushed myself off the floor and ran over to her, wrapping my arms around her and giving her tight squeeze. She did the same and held onto me tightly, obviously she was surprised to see me, but also relieved at the same time.

Hesitantly, I pulled out of the embrace, "What's going on?"

"You're in my head." she said slowly.

I blinked rapidly as I glanced around the room, it looked just like the room that I had been in before when Lydia was laying on the bed practically lifeless-- the only different being that Stiles and Natalie are gone and Lydia is wide awake. How in the holy hell did I end up getting inside of her head?

Lydia grabbed my arm, "Kasey, I need to get out of here. Meredith is trying to help me use my voice as a bullet to break the glass but I just can't do it."

Break the glass

I was right, when I heard that in my head it had been Lydia related. Wait-- did she just say Meredith? As in Meredith Walker?

"Meredith?" I questioned in confusion.

She nodded, "Meredith Walker. She's been helping me try to wake up."

"You do need to wake up," I stated simply, because we needed her help with everything that is going on right now. It doesn't do us much good having her paralyzed in a bed in the basement of Eichen House.

Lydia sighed, "I'm trying."

The sound of a gun clicking echoed around the room and Lydia's eyes widened, "Did you hear that?"

"I definitely heard that." I said slowly, not liking the direction that this little visit was taking.

I turned around and saw that the cement wall had turned to a glass one, and there was a scene unfolding on the other side. Malia was on the ground, attempting to scoot away from something or someone, and she was trying to use a rock to shield herself. Lydia and I both bolted to the wall, hitting our hands against the glass trying to get Malia's attention.

"Malia!" Lydia shouted, continuing to slam her hands against the glass.

I noticed a shadow on the ground, moving towards Malia. It was of a woman holding a gun and Malia's eyes widened even further as she began to tremble in fear. I swallowed thickly, not liking where this was going to end up going. Lydia glanced at me, "Is this real or in my head?"

"How the hell am I supposed to know? I just got here." I stated in a panic.

"Lydia, I think you know what a Banshee premonition feels like." Meredith's voice floated into the room and Lydia winced at the words.

A premonition? So, that means that this is actually going to happen to Malia? I mean, yeah I'm mad at her at the moment but I don't want her to die.

"She's going to die." Lydia said to me in a panic.

My eyes widened, "How are we supposed to stop it? Lydia--"

A sudden jolt of pain in my chest caused me to attempt to sit up and scream. A sound that I wasn't familiar with came out of my lungs and the male nurse who was sitting beside me covered his ears. I have no freaking idea what is going on but there is a pain in my chest that I can't bare to feel. I went to rub at my chest but my hands were restrained. My eyes widened when I realized I was laying in a bed in the basement of Eichen House, strapped down.

"You're awake?" the guy said, I recognized him to be the guy from the front desk.

I blinked rapidly as I glanced around the room, "Where is Stiles? What's going on?"

"You had a seizure, you were hurting yourself. We had to restrain you. Your friend that you came here with is upstairs." he said slowly, placing his hand on my thigh.

I jerked away from his touch, but didn't move very far because of the restraints. I'm a fucking werewolf hybrid why can't I bust out of these leather straps? Unless-- no, there is no way that he knows that I'm a werewolf and he restrained me with wolves bane. How would he know that?

"I'm okay now, please let me go." I said in a panic, not liking the way that this situation was shaping up to be. What if they keep me overnight? How am I supposed to survive another night in Eichen House? I barely did it before, I know that I can't do it now.

He shook his head from side to side slowly, "Miss McCall, you are now officially a patient at Eichen House."
