Avery
I was in my room, packing my clothes into a suitcase. I was going to spend a couple of weeks with Michael in Australia. He had insisted on me coming, especially after he found out about the whole cutting thing. I guess he was still worried about me, even though I insisted that I was fine now, he still wanted me to come. I didn't mind though, it would be fun to go on a trip with him.
I finished packing and walked downstairs. He was sitting with my parents, in the living room. They all stood up and walked over to me. My parents hugged and kissed me goodbye and walked us out to the car.
"You take care of her." Mom said to Michael.
"Don't worry, I will."
He put his arm around me to help assure her that he would.
"Let us know when you get there." Dad said.
"We will." I said.
I kissed and hugged them one last time and then got into the car. Michael backed out of the driveway and we were on our way to the airport.
"I'm so excited." I said.
Michael smiled and reached over mad held my hand.
"I'm glad, I am too. We're gonna have fun."
"Will we get to hang out with the boys at all?" I asked.
"You really wanna hang out with those losers?"
I glared at him and he laughed. He should know that I would.
"Yes, I wanna hang out with them. I haven't gotten to since I was on tour with you guys, which was almost 6 months ago."
"I know and yes we can hang out with them. Calum practically lives at my house anyway."
"Okay good." I said, smiling.
"But we're gonna spend some time together just us two, right?" He asked.
"Of course, silly."
"Good, because I'm planning some good stuff. Like you'll love me even more for it."
"Oh really? Can you tell me?" I asked.
"Nope, it's a surprise."
"Aww, please?"
I tried the pouty face on him, because he did it to me all the time. It didn't work on him either, apparently, because he didn't tell me.
We arrived at the airport and got all checked in. We walked to our gate and then boarded the plane. Michael took the window seat, because I hate sitting by the window.
Flying always made me nervous, he knew that and he held my hand. I put my headphones in and turned on my music. I just laid my head back and closed my eyes. At some point, drifting off to sleep.

Michael
I was so happy that Avery had come with me to Australia. We had so much time to make up for us being apart and I was determined to make it all up to her.
I was horrible with planning things. I mean heck, my idea of a perfect date was getting popcorn and going to some movie or something. I knew that she would be fine with that, but I wanted to do something special for her. So I had enlisted the help of Ashton, he had helped me think of something really special.
I was going to take her to the beach and have a picnic, while watching the sunset. I know it's super cliche and cheesy, but that's almost how I am when it comes to romance, so it's either this or the movies. I felt like this would be a little more special.
"So where are we going?" She asked.
"Just out. You don't have to dress up or anything, but you might wanna wear a dress." I said to her.
"Okay, does it need to be fancy?"
"Nope." I said.
I could tell that she was confused, but I couldn't tell her. That was the whole point of it being a surprise.
"Do I need to curl my hair?" She asked.
"Do whatever you want, I don't care." I said.
She rolled her eyes and walked out of my room. She closed the bathroom door and I knew she would probably be a while, so I just turned on my Ps4 and started playing Destiny.
I hadn't been playing 20 minutes when she walked back out. She was wearing a sun dress with converse and her hair was curled. She looked beautiful.
"I'm ready." She said.
"Wow..." I said.
She turned her head to the tv and groaned.
"You're playing this without me?" She whined.
"Yeah, I just did it to pass the time while you got ready. We can play it tonight."
"Okay good." She smiled.
I turned the game off and took her hand as we walked out of my room or man cave, whatever it was.
We got in the car and I drove to the beach. Calum and Ashton were there and had already gotten everything set up.
I parked the car and we got out. We walked to the beach and down to where they had set up our picnic. Avery covered her mouth with her hands and gasped.
"Oh my gosh, Michael." She said. "You did this, for me?"
I nodded my head. "Yep, well with a little help. Ashton and Cal helped me set it up. You should really thank them. You would be eating popcorn at a movie instead if they hadn't helped me."
She chuckled. "Well that would've been fine, as long as you were there. But this is just so sweet."
She kissed me on the cheek and then we sat down on the blanket and started eating. They had gotten us pasta with bread and even a salad. I really owed them for this one, they outdid themselves.
"I didn't know you had this in you." She said.
"What do you mean?"
"This just, it's not really you."
"Is that good or bad?" I asked.
She laughed and nodded her head.
"It's good. It's nice to do stuff like this sometimes."
"Yeah, I guess it is." I said. "I just wanted to do something special for you. I'm gonna make it up all that time we lost together."
"Aw you don't have to worry about that. I'm just happy to be back with you."
"So am I, but I'm still gonna make it all up to you."
"Okay, well I won't argue with you." She smiled.
When we had finished eating, we just sat and watched the sunset. I know this was all super cliche but it was so nice. Just being here with her. I could just sit here forever. With her by my side, I could just stay here and never leave.

Okay I know this chapter isn't that exciting, but I thought it would be cute because I haven't had that many chapters with them together. This was also just a filler chapter, because I didn't know really what else to add and I need to end this at some point lol.
I'm also aware that this is super cliche, but I thought it would cute so just go with it. Okay byeee!!
