"Oh? Anong nangyari? Ba't parang nakakkita ka ng multo?" - Verrall asked me the moment I came back from the rest room area.
Hindi multo ang nakita ko! EX ko piggybear! EX!
Dali dali kong kinuha ang bag ko and grabbed his hand. "I don't wanna eat here anymore." - sabi ko sabay hila sa kanya.
"What are you talking about?" - he asked, confused by my sudden change of attitude.
"We need to go. Now!" - I forced him to stand up but he wouldn't move a step.
"Bakit? Malapit na order natin oh!" - he complained as he tried to look past me for the waiter.
I followed his look and what I saw wasn't the waiter, but my EX walking out of the rest room area and towards us.

"Nevermind the food! Tara na PLEASE!" - I begged him and made him look at me instead of behind me.
Now, in his line of sight, parang hinahalik ko si V.
"Bakit ba ha? Anong problema?" - he asked me dumbfounded.
I looked at the pillar behind V which reflected what was behind me.
Nakita ko si Kieth na naka-shades at papunta na sa kung saan kami.
Namilog ang mga mata ko. ASHFGFKKBKHDBHDSJ!
Ano na gagawin ko ngayon?!
Papalapit at papalapit na siya sa amin!
At sa bawat hakbang na ginawa niya, parang unti-unti nang sasabog sa kaba ang dibdib ko.
Aish! Bahala na!
Thinking the unthinkable, I wrapped my arms around V's neck and look at him dead in the eyes.
"Kiss me."
"Wha--?! R-Right now?!" - he blushed so hard and panicked like a high school boy.
But I didn't have time to deal with it!
So I pulled him in and kissed him myself.
His eyes went wide and he tensed up at the moment, but he eventually calmed down and pulled me closer.
The kiss lasted only a few seconds but within that time, I felt someone stop right behind us.
I didn't dare look. Nor did I even open my eyes.
Hanggang sa naramdaman kong may lumampas sa amin.
We broke our kiss and the first thing I saw was the person who passed us.
Dressed in white and holding a pitcher of cold water. A waiter. He went to the table right after ours' and poured water.
WHA---
"Umm.. Ma'am? Sir? Your order is here. Would you perhaps want a take-out instead?"
Lumingon ako at nakita ko na ang huminto sa likod namin ay yung waiter na inorderan namin ng pagkain.
Madali kong binaba ang mga kamay ko and we both stepped away from each other.
"A-Ah yes... take out please." - nauutal na sabi ni V.
I stood there. Glued to the spot.
Where'd he go?
Hindi ako umimik at dahan dahan kong tinignan ang resto. I scanned everything with my eyes but....
Wala na talaga siya.
He just.... vanished.
Oh don't tell me nababaliw na ako! NO! I know he was here! Narinig ko pa boses niya!
Pero bakit ba bigla lang siya nawala?!
"Mira."
I was snapped out by V's voice.
Tumingin ako sa kanya and I saw his still flushed face while holding a paper bag.
"Diba sabi mo alis na tayo?" - he held out his hand for me.
I looked at his hand and then back at the resto. As if I was hoping to see even a glimpse of him but there was nothing.
Tumingin ako ulit sa kanya ang took his hand. "Oo nga. Tara?" - I smiled at him and he smiled as well.
We went out hand in hand and drove to my apartment.
"Ano ba talaga ang nagyari kanina ha Mira?" - V asked as we pulled into the parking lot.
Hindi kami lumabas. We just stayed inside the car.
"We.... kissed. Obvious ba?" - I answered.
Alam ko kung anong ibig sabihin niya. I just hate to talk about it right now.
I made a move to open the door but he grabbed my hand.
"Mira. Tell me." - he had this serious and hurt expression.
I saw my EX, V. That's what happened!
I saw my damned EX who broke my heart and who's family threatened to kill me 8 frickin' years ago!
Is what I wanted to say.... but instead....
"Out of order yung rest room nila. I needed to GO really bad. Now, would you please let me poop?"
