Aanya and Kaden in the Press conference.

All the information for the Press conference had been mailed to us. Ben was going to be there with me. As for Kaden, I have no idea how are things going to be between us. As I mentioned earlier, its going to be damn awkward but I am going to be highly professional. God please be on my side this time.
I was going through the bulletins about the press Conference when Scarlet informed me that its time to leave for it. Ben was already by the car when I reached there. We entered the car and my driver started the car. While in the car I was getting nervous with the thought of meeting Kaden. What was I suppose to say, 'Hey Kaden. Yaa I know its awkward and all but lets forget it ever happened and continue as we were before that kiss.' Yaa right, like that's gonna happen. Uhhhh!!!
Shit, ok Aanya u need to focus on the situation in hand. God this is going to be fu*king hard. Ben puts his hand on my hand and squeeze it. I smile at him to assure him I am good. He just shakes his head with a small smile playing on his face.
"You know you are 1 stubborn girl." He said.
"I know. But you love me for my stubbornness." I wink at hi and we laugh.
Finally reaching to the place we get out and head to the room where the Press conference is being held. I and Ben enter the room where Zack and Kaden are already in there. Zack came to me as soon as he saw me. There was no one in the room except us four and some other workers setting up everything. Zack bowed in front of me and took my hand and kissed it and then winked at me.
"How are you Ms. Williams. I missed your company for the past week." He said with a heavy voice.
I laughed a little at his failed attempt to be a English man and said, "I am good Mr. Reynolds. I saw how much you missed me. You would come to certain café across my office building, obviously missing me. Yeah?"
He just stared at me with wide eyes but quickly covered it with a smirk. "Nothing goes past you Aanya"
"Ofcourse it doesn't, when it considers my best friend." I said giving him a teasing smile.
"Right, so come. Let's have a seat." He said, changing the subject. Haha.. I am not letting it go just yet.
He leads me to Kaden. I am sure every1 in the room can hear my heartbeat cause its beating wildly. I seat next to him with Ben on my right and Kaden on my left and Zack sits besides Kaden. Kaden tries to talk to me when Mr. Richardson or should I call him Thomas came and stood in front of the table.
"Kaden, Aanya good to see you two. So you guys are ready?" Thomas asked.
"Yes Thomas. We are very much prepared." I say.
"Of course Thomas. We have it all under control. You just relax." Kaden said, while shaking his hand.
"Perfect. So let's begin. Mary let them in." he orders Mary and she goes out of the room.
I was casually talking to Ben when I heard Kaden calling me, "Aanya. I need to talk to you." He was trying to start a conversation with me but I didn't want that. So I just ignored it and continue to talk to Ben. When he tried talking to me again, reporter's started filling the area.
When every1 is settled down Thomas is the 1st one to speak. "Hello ladies and gentlemen. I have organized this press conference so you all could get an over view of how the project is going on. Now, we just have an hour for this so please start with your questions. Mr. Kaden Ford and Ms. Aanya Williams along with Zack Reynolds and Ben Carter will answer your questions. So lets start."
Not after a min reporters start to ask us question.
"Mr. Ford and Ms. Williams. How is the project going so far.?"
"Its going in a great form. We are pleased that we are able to incorporate our clients ideas and satisfy him" Kaden answer without a blink.
" When do you think will you be able to finish the project.?" The other reporter ask.
"Well, from the way its going on right now, I think we will be able to handover the project completely within a year." I answer his question.
"How does it feel to work with Ms. Williams, Mr. Ford?" one of the reporter asked.
"Its been a good experience. She is very professional with her work. That's one of her qualities that I like in her. Her great sense of design. Its my pleasure to work with her." Kaden replied seriously.
"Its seems you are quite fond of each other. We heard you guys studied in the same high school. Is it true?" Reporter asked.
Kaden was about to reply but I cut him and answer, "We are fond of each other only professionally. If we aren't we wont be able to work together. And about being together in one high school, although it doesn't matter but yes we used to study in the same school."
Kaden was looking at me but I just kept a straight face. He wont get a emotion on my face today that's for sure. After almost crying in front of him the other day, I have no intention to show him any emotions. He deserves this. I wont give him my heart again only to be broken by him because of some1 more good looking than me.
The questions came and we answered. It went for another hour. Thomas concluded the press conference with a overview of our work and we bid our goodbye. Ben was having a word with some if Thomas's employee while I decided to wait for him in parking lot. After waiting for 10 mins I just leaned on my car and closed my eyes, enjoying the pleasant weather.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, I smiled thinking its Ben but I was wrong. "Aanya, I need to talk to you." I scowled at hearing his voice and slowly opened my eyes with a frown. Kaden was standing in front of me looking a little hurt. HURT?? Like he would ever be.
"What do you want Kaden?" I asked irritated that I didn't successfully ignore him.
"I don't know. I want you to talk to me." He said.
"Kaden please, haven't I made it clear yet that I don't want anything but professional. So just forget everything else." I said firmly.
"I already knew you would say something like that. So no I am not here to talk about anything personal. I just want to discuss things that concern the project. So I was thinking if we meet up and discuss." He said.
"Not at any of our home." I said. I don't have any fond memory at any of our home. I don't want to be there with him alone.
"That's ok with me. How about tomorrow 3 o'clock at Starbucks near my office.?" He said. His eyes were shinning with hope. He said it is for the project. How much ever I hate him but I cant say no to that.
"Fine. Lets meet tomorrow." I said with a fake smile.
As soon as he left Ben came and I glared at him. He just innocently at him. I was quite suspicious about it. There was something he wasn't telling me. I made a mental note to enquire him.
I dropped Ben and headed home. I was tired with all the things that happened today. I ordered a pizza. After eating I decided to end this day. I was really hoping tomorrow when I and Kaden meet for once nothing go wrong. With that thought I closed my eyes.

I know this is not that good of a chapter but I promise its going to be interesting.
Some1 from the past is going to enter or should I say re-enter their lives, but with a twist (that possibly can be some1)..
