[Alexa's POV]
Every day I see her.
Always sitting on the wall across the street, in the exact same place, the exact same position. Always dressed in all black, always with her headphones on.
Despite walking past her every day on my way to school, I haven't ever spoken to her, yet she fascinates me somehow. Since the first time she caught my eye, I haven't gone a day without thinking about her.
It's been almost sixty days.
I wish I had the confidence to go over, to start a conversation, even just to sit next to her, but something about that wouldn't feel right - at the same time, though, how could it feel wrong?
Sometimes we make eye contact. Other times, she stares at the floor, studying the concrete just centimetres below her feet. Part of me aches to know what's running through her head, but another part of me worries it would scare me.
I feel like I know her better than I do, but not like I've made a single assumption about her.
What should I do?
I don't know whether to act on how I feel.
