Lucy's POV
I've been feeling a pain in my chest as Natsu was literally swimming in my gold. I giggle when he dives head first into a pile of coins. Then I look down at my mating mark (Which is on her hip shaped as a small flame with blue and red inside with tiny stars) Which was now throbbing. I see Natsu staring at his own mating mark. (Which was on his hip as well, which is also why he wears open vests now) "Uh Lucy? Are you doing that?" I shake my head. "Uh, no? Lets go back." "Why?" I help him out of the gold. "Just...A feeling." "Ok, if you say so. But how do we get out of here?" I sigh. "Plug your ears." "Ok?" So he plugs his ears. I take a few steps away from him and roar. He winces and then the walls crack open, light shining through. Then as I continue roaring, the mountain completely splits open. I stop roaring and Natsu grabs my hand. "Lets go!" we rush out of the mountains. Then after we get out from inside the mountains, the mountains seal shut. Natsu looks at the mountain in awe when fire slips from the cracks and melts the edges together before going out. "Geeze Lucy! How much amazing stuff do you have!?" I shrug. "That was it." "Really?" I nod. "Yeah. Lets go home now." "Right" He nods then we transform into dragons and start flying back to Fairy Tail.
We slowly landing in front of the guild. I see Wendy and Carla waving at us. Then I gasp in pain, Natsu doing the same. Natsu is forced to change into a human but I can't. Natsu quickly uses his dragon wings, that appeared when he transformed back, and lands. However, he collapses to his knees and pants while grabbing his chest. "Natsu-san!" Wendy rushes to him. I land but fall to my side. "Lucy-san!" Carla quickly flies inside of the guild.
Wendy's POV
Natsu-san and Lucy-san's mating marks start glowing. What is happening! I rush over to Natsu-san and use my sky magic to heal him, but pull my hands back. I look down at my hands, which were now burnt slightly. I clench my fists then I hear, "Wendy! What happened!?" I turn my head and see Master and most of the guild members. I shake my head. "I don't know. But it isn't good. I look over at Natsu-san and see a light red aura surrounding him. I look over at Lucy-san, who has a light blue aura around her. Then Natsu-san roars really loudly, while Lucy-san does the same. We all hold our ears. Tears start flowing out of my eyes. These roars were saying that Natsu-san and Lucy-san were in agonizing pain. Then they suddenly stop. Natsu-san collapses on his front while Lucy-san passes out. "Levy! Find out what's happening!" "Yes Master!" I walk up to Lucy-san and widen my eyes. "Oh no!" "This isn't good" I hear Gajeel-san say. Then Erza-san walks up and puts an armored hand on my shoulder. "Wendy, if you would explain please" I nod and wipe my tears. "Look at Natsu-san and Lucy-san's mating marks." Erza-san looks at them then narrows her eyes. "What mating mark-wait" I nod. "Their gone." "Which means?" "I got this pipsqueak." I look up at Gajeel-san. "Gajeel, if you would" He sighs. "They aren't mates anymore. Salamander's dragon self got taken away. Then that probably means bunny-girl can't be human anymore." "Natsu's dragon self? Lucy can't be human anymore?" Master says.
Gajeel-san says. "Salamander was able to transform into a dragon because of bunny-girl and then this happened. Bunny-girl was able to transform into a human because of Salamander. Which means that when they were unmated, their other transformation was torn away." "Can you give an example?" I hear Gajeel-san groan. "I guess you could say their combined souls were torn apart and at the same time, their human or dragon self was torn out of their souls." "Hm." Master rubs his mustache. "Gray, carry Natsu to the infirmary. Erza, watch over Lucy" "Why do I have to carry flame brain!?" "Do it!" Erza-san aims her swords at Gray-san. "YES ERZA-SAN!" Gray-san throws Natsu-san over his shoulder and runs inside the guild. Everyone but me and Erza-san walk inside the guild with serious faces. I walk over to Lucy-san and put a hand on her snout. "Lucy-san..." "Don't worry Wendy, we'll fix this." I nod. "Yeah..."

A week later
Lucy's POV
I slowly open my eyes and see darkness. I lift my head and look around. I blow out a tiny flame and then sigh in relief. I was outside the guild, still in my dragon form. I hear the guild doors slowly creak open. "LUCY~!" I look towards the door and see Natsu, who is panting, and see him look at me. "Lucy!?" I lower my head in front of him. "Natsu..." "Lucy!" He runs over to me and hugs my snout. I nuzzle him then close my eyes sadly. "Lucy...What happened?" I open my eyes and meet his. I sigh. "I think....someone forcefully made us unmate." "Wha-how!?" He lets go of my snout and sits down next to me, his back leaning on my neck. I sigh. "I don't know. This is never heard of except for one case..." "Who?" I take a deep breath in. "Igneel" Natsu takes a sharp breath in. "I-Igneel? It happened to him?" I nod. "Yeah." "Tell me more please!" I can't deny his pleading voice and face. I sigh. "Her name is Sylvia"
"Sylvia?" "She was the White Fire dragon, Igneel's mate. She was gorgeous. She loved everyone, except Acnologia. Her fire was the purest white. Her wings were feathers. Long, beautiful white hair with white fur and scales. Her horns made her look like a princess or a goddess. Anyways, Igneel and Sylvia were deeply in love. But another dragon named Samael was jealous of Igneel. His magic was rare. He could erase anything from existence. So he erased Igneel and Sylvia's bond or mating mark. Igneel was really outraged and Sylvia did everything she could to try to get them to be able to mate again, but nothing worked. So eventually, Sylvia gave up. So she took off some scales from her body and gave them to Igneel. She casted a forbidden spell on her and Igneel. It is forgotten to this day but from what I know, it takes one's soul from their body and place it into someone else's. She placed her soul into Igneel. To remember her better, he went to some mages and got her scales turned into a scarf. He also had her soul placed into the scarf. Then he kept it around his neck for years and years and years. Until he gave it to a dragon slayer. Which is you"
Natsu widens his eyes and grips his scarf. "So...she's in my scarf?" I nod. "Yeah. How do you think your scarf protected you from Zeref's magic? Sylvia's magic is so hot, she could burn any magic or anything. White fire is the hottest fire in existence." "Wow~. So wait, is she alive in here or...?" I shake my head. "No. Only her soul is in here. The reason you're able to wear the scarf is because of your connection to Igneel." "Oh~" I sigh. "Natsu..." "Hm?" "You do realize exactly what's going on right?" "Not exactly" I sigh. "Our souls were combined when we mated. But when we unmated, our souls were forced apart." "Which means?" I groan. "You idiot. We can't mate again for another hundred years. You'll be dead by then. I can't become human anymore and you can't be a dragon anymore" He freezes. "Y-you're joking" I feel a tear fall from my eye. "No. I wish I was." He stands up and hugs my snout again. "What will we do?" I nuzzle his small figure and narrow my eyes. "I'll have to talk to mama about that. However....." "What?" I sigh. "I have to leave this world. I'll probably have to become a Celestial Goddess for this one." "TAKE ME WITH YOU!" I shake my head. "No" Natsu narrows his eyes at me. "I, king of the dragons, command this Dragon to follow my every command." I growl. "No." But then Natsu starts glowing, which makes it harder to say no. "N-no." "Lucy" "F-fine!" I growl at Natsu. "Damn it Natsu! I told you not to use that!" "I have every right" "Fine, be that way. I'll be going on a walk, don't follow me!" I stand up and start walking away. "Lucy!" I growl. "Don't follow me" I ignore Natsu's protests and walk to the ocean that was nearby, ignoring the oohs and ahhs from citizens.
I sit down in front of the ocean and look at the moon reflecting off the water. I look at my drooped wings. I sigh. "LUSHI!" I turn my head in time for Happy to land in between my eyes. "H-Happy!?" "Don't leave Lushi! Who's going to cook my fish!?" I smile slightly. "Sorry Happy. But I have to do this" "Why!?" I sigh. "If I don't, me and Natsu are going to die in two years." "D-die?" I nod. I hold out my claw and Happy lands on it. "Lushi~ You won't leave again right?" I close my eyes and sigh. "I have to" "Lushi!" I bring him closer to me and he wraps his tiny paws around my snout. "I'm sorry Happy. I have to. In the mean time, give this to Natsu" I open my other claw up and put a small piece of paper in his hand. "What's this Lushi?" I sigh and close my eyes. "A list. Only Natsu will understand. I have to go alone." "Ok" "Oh, and give this to Wendy" "To Wendy?" I nod and blow out a tiny blue flame. Happy squeaks. I smile. "It won't hurt you. Watch" I whistle. "Here boy!" The little flame flies up to in front of my eyes. "Wow Lushi!" I giggle. "Alright Alex. Follow Happy to a little girl named Wendy. You will follow everything she says ok?" The little flame nods, which now has tiny cat ears. (Just imagine a tiny ball of blue fire with two cat ears.) "You will also provide some fire from you for her to use in time of need, got that?" The tiny fire cat nods. "Don't let Natsu eat you ok? Don't hurt anyone unless in dire times." Alex nods. I look at Happy. "Get on Happy's back, he'll fly you to Wendy." Alex meows and walks over to Happy.
"That's cool Lushi!" I nod slowly and watch as Happy hugs Alex. "Hey! He's the same color I am!" I nod and giggle. Then look down sadly. "Now Happy, I have another little guy for you to bring home" "Really!?" I nod and giggle. "This one you might want to stand back for." "Aye!" He uses Aera and flies onto my head. I close my eyes and concentrate. "What are you doing Lushi?" "When me and Natsu mated, our magic is also combined into one. So I'm using the rest of his fire that's inside me." "Aye?" Alex meows, who also has a tiny flame tail. I blow out a tiny red flame with a tiny swirl of blue fire, which makes the cat have a tiny purple tint. I stop blowing the fire and watch as the small flame form horns, a dragon tail, and dragon wings "Wow~ Its amazing Lushi!" I giggle. "Come here Iggy" The small dragon flies up to me and makes a cute squeaking sound. I giggle. "Now Iggy, you will provide Natsu with fire in times of need. Ok?" I ignore the tears flowing down my face. Iggy whines and lands on my snout and nuzzles the space between my eyes. "Th-thanks Iggy. Now fly with Happy. Ok? Be a good boy." He nods and makes another cute noise. I smile then Happy, Alex, and Iggy fly in front of my face. "Where will you go Lushi?" I look up. "To another world" "Another world?" I nod. "Yeah." "Oh, and tell Natsu I love him." They all nod. "Now go." "Aye! I'll miss you Lushi!" I nod. "I'll see you later. Tell Natsu that I have to visit the Universal Dragon Graveyard." "A-aye!" I look up and spread my wings. "Start flying." "AYE!" Happy and Iggy start flying towards the guild.
I sigh and shake my head. "Watashi wa yunibāsarudoragon bochi e ryokō shitaidesu" I get shot with a multi-colored beam. "LUCY!" I quickly turn my head. "Natsu! Get out of here!" "No!" "Why!?" "Because I love you Lucy!" I widen my eyes then tears escape my eyes, but they end up flying up instead of down. "I Love you too Natsu!" Then I disappear into the portal. "LUCY!" "NA-!"

Natsu's POV
I watch as Lucy gets sucked up in a void or portal thing. "LUCY!" I collapse on my knees and punch the ground, creating a small crater. "DAMN IT! DAMN IT! DAMN IT! DAMN IT!" I continue punching the ground, making a bigger crater every time. "NATZU!" I turn my head and see Happy. "What are you doing here!?" "Here! Lushi told me to give him to you!" I widen my eyes when I see a mini purplish dragon made out of fire. The mini dragon flies up to me and squeaks. "That's Iggy. Lucy made him out of the last of your fire." "I-Iggy?" The small dragon whines and rubs against my cheek. I smile slightly. "So, where has she gone?" Happy sighs. "Universal Dragon Graveyard." I grit my teeth then Iggy squeaks and lands on my head. "Oh god. She didn't." I groan and shake my head. "What Natzu?" I look up at Happy. "The Universal Dragon Graveyard is terrible." "Terrible?" I grab a handful of pink hair and grip it, ignoring Iggy's protests. "The ghosts of Dragons will try to possess you if you talk to one. They will never give your body back and then eventually, your soul will leave your body and you'll just be floating in the middle of no where for the rest of eternity." "Wh-what?! Why would she go there!?" I growl and stand up, with Iggy perched on my shoulder. "To talk to her mom probably. Come on Happy. Let's go back." ""But Lushi-" "I'll find a way to get her back." Iggy squeaks and Happy nods sadly. "Let's go"
