------------------- Chapter 3 --------------------------
The first two periods of the day have blown by so fast like a speed boat. Its already time for third period. I walk down the crowded halls, everything feels sticky from the on and off going rain storm. Come on California, make up your mind. I don’t want to keep striping off my sweat shirt but then putting it back on because of the cold wet rain.
While I keep to myself, Ingoing eye contact from unwanted people. I bump into someone’s warm chest.
“I’m so sorry” I mutter without looking at the person.
“its okay, Rain girl” A familiar voice says.
I tilt my head up to get a glimpse of the guy. Omgawd, its Mustang guy, Keaton I think.
“Oh my…Hey!” I get lost into his green blue-ish eyes. They are the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen .
“Where you going?” He grabs my crumbled up schedule that has been through a lot this morning.
“Oh gym” I reply to his question.
He smirks. “Well sorry to break it to you Rain girl, but gym is on the other side of school”
How stupid am I? I’ve been to this school before! This is only my 2nd year here.
“Oh well, I don’t know what I’m still doing over here, so um bye” I turn away quickly trying to hide my face with the sleeve of my light blue sweatshirt. He probably thinks I’m the stupidest thing he has ever seen in his life.
As I walk into third period gym, everyone is sitting on the bleachers chatting off how their first day has been or their new crushes this year. Jeez, people these days. I don’t have a crush so far, but so far I have met some attractive guys and for my first day, this one must be the suckiest one ever.
A waving hand shots out of the crowd, I realize that the hand belongs to my best friend Kate and the waving is waving towards me to join her. Finally something good happens in this dreadful day. I powerwalk over to her and sits beside her.
She fixes her bright red straight hair that falls perfectly way past her shoulders almost near her belly button. She has perfect high cheek bones with a pink color to them. How can someone so flawless be my best friend?
“So Chloe, I got my eye on someone” She winks at me. Oh great. Who is it this time?
“Oh my, I didn’t know you were turning lesbian because of me?” We both laugh “So who is it?”
“I don’t remember his name” She pouts with her bottom lip sticking up. “But he is so adorable! You would love him!”
See what I have to deal with? I love Kate to death. I’ve known her since 7th grade, When nobody would even take a minute to Acknowledge me, She would come speak to me and eventually we began doing everything together after that.
“He has the most beautiful...”
*WHHIIISSTTLLEEEE*
“Get in a group of four and space out the groups in the gym” A husky overweight gym coach says.
Nobody needs to be told twice as everyone emerged off the red dusty bleachers and into their groups. Kate grabs my arm and shoves me into a direction of people I don’t even know. I look behind me to see all the groups click together, Boys shoving each other, Girls swooning over them and we the guys notice they would giggle and blush. The typical high school life.
“Hey, need two more people?” I hear kate ask.
“Um sure” A deep voice says.
I could feel Kate smile behind me. I turn around to face my new group members, and one of them is of course, Wesley.
“Hey stranger” He winks and waves at me. Only me. Kate just stands there confuse and then goes straight to suspicious mode.
“I met him this morning” I blurt out for no reason, I guess just to get it out there.
Kate giggles and says “Well I’m Kate and this is” She points at me before she tells them my name I shush her. I don’t want them knowing my name. I don’t know why, but I would like it to be more of a Mystery.
“I’m…I’m” I try to think of a name, my last name would be fine, I guess. “I’m Marie” I try to fake a smile, I don’t think I worked. Wesley looks at me with uncertainly but seems to brush it off of his mind.
“I’m Wesley and this is my best bro, Drew” He points to the blonde beside him. I wouldn’t have even notice Drew there if no one had pointed him out. Drew has blonde hair with a tad bit of brown in it. His hair was spiked in the front by his forehead; you could see her muscles about to explode through his deep blue t-shirt. Omgawd, I was totally Eye raping him now. Ops!
Wesley looks back from Drew and I and Raises an eyebrow. Ah shit. Nothing is going on Wesley, Nothing! I mind screamed to him but of course he couldn’t hear it.
“Everyone get one partner in your group and does the trust fall”
“I call Chl--!” Kate caught herself “Marie!” She yanks me in front of her and positions me to fall into her arms.
“Now fall!” She demands.
“Chill your little tities” I comment and chuckle.
“At least they are bigger than yours” She nudges me in the back. Oh whatever.
I fall backwards gracefully into her arms as air blows my hair in my face. Kate catches me. Oh thank god. I trust her and all but when it comes to her, she can be distracted easily.
“See, that wasn’t so bad huh?” She smiles and shows off her pearly white teeth.
“Well now I can trust you little hoe” I joke around
“Is that so little tities? Let’s see if you can catch me or your small tities are a comfortable cushion to land on from falling” Oh it’s so on.
Kate walks in front of me and soon falls and luckily I caught her. Some of her red hair got into my mouth.
“Like the taste of my hair? I used peach mango smelly one” she sniffs her beautiful red hair.
*WHHIISSTTTLLEEEE*
“Now switch partners and do what you did with your first partner”
Kate looks to me and then to Drew and Wesley. She notices Wesley staring at me and walks over to Drew. “Wanna be my partner?” She bats her little eyelashes. He nods in agreement. Ah fuck Kate. You made get stuck with Wesley. A part of me was jumping up and down in excitement but the other part didn’t want to embarrass the living shit out of me in front of him.
He walks behind me and I assume that he is ready, So I go ahead and lean back on my heels and fall. And fall with no one grabbing me instead I face smack onto the tile of the floor. Owe.
“Shit!” I yell out loud. “You were supposed to catch me idiot” I feel my face going red, I dont know if its because im embrassed or Angry, or even both.
“I wasn’t ready! You should’ve kept your small tities from getting to excited for falling into my arms”
UH. EXCUSE ME? Was he listening in to Kate and I’s conversation?
“Maybe you should have been focusing less on my small tities and more on the assignment” I let out a sigh. “Sorry, but can you help me up?”
He grabs me right arm and pulls me up. The bell rings. Ah thank you my saver bell. I run over to the bleachers grab my backpack and Kate’s. I hand her backpack to her and we bolt out of there. I can never look at Wesley again without getting embarrassed. What Is wrong with me? He is just a guy, a stupid guy, and really cute stupid guy….Ah fuck. Get your head out of the clouds Chloe. Your day is already halfway over and you’re gonna need to make the best of it.
