I couldn't sleep that night, I was still in shock. He obviously didn't mean it or maybe he didn't realize what he said. Yeah ! That's it, right?
I couldn't help, but replay his words over and over in my head. "Love ya!"
I haven't said it to him , I was waiting for him to say and he said it . . . So what do I do? My answer to myself is nothing, shut up and wait for him to say it again.
"Amanda, are you okay?" A voice interrupted my thoughts.
I looked up at my dad and nodded my head. He slowly walked out of the room probably wondering what's wrong with me. I wonder that too sometimes.
It's morning now, we're eating in silence or at least were. I washed my plate and went into my room.
I sat at my desk and opened my note book.
My everything, I wrote.
My phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey." It was James, of course.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Is it wrong to want to talk to my girlfriend?" He questioned.
"I guess not."
"Sorry, I just like hearing your voice. Your laugh, your stupid jokes." He continued.
"My donkey laugh and terrible puns, nice."
"Exactly."
"What are you doing?" I started to walk around my room.
"As of right now i am eating some chicken."
"I ate food."
"Come over here."
"No, I can't."
"Well then."
"I'm fine here."
"Manda dear."
"Yes?"
"Shut up. Anyway, Dave asked if you were okay since you were M.I.A and I told him that you were hiding in his closet. So, he went to his closet and now he's looking for you." He started laughing hard.
"You're going to choke!"
He started coughing and I laughed at the sudden coincidence. He cleared his throat and I heard him and Dave fight since I wasn't in his closet.
James talked about what's been going on and he informed me how his mom was doing. I felt really bad for her, I can't even imagine how the other boys feel. James though is fighting hard for me , I just know it.
"So then Tom went to talk to the girl and we all cheered when she gave him her number which embarrassed him." James finished his fifth story.
"You guys are mean." I laughed.
"No. We are supportive."
I walked around my room about five times, into the living room, the kitchen and grabbed some food from the fridge , back to my room.
"What about you?" James asked.
"Uh, I don't know." I panicked.
"You don't know?" He questioned.
"Yeah, repeat that question."
"How are you handling everything?"
"Oh. . . I actually don't know."
"Babe, I want you happy. What can I do? "
"James, i'm not a happy person."
"With me you are."
"Yeah, but -"
"No! I'm coming over fuck what your dad said." I could hear him move around.
"No! James please don't."
"You're breaking!"
"No!"
"Baby!"
"No pain at all. I promise, please stop worrying."
"You can't tell me to stop worrying, that's the worst thing to tell me because that's going to make me worry more. You're my everything and if you're in pain so am I, whatever you're going through you won't be going through it alone, I can guarantee that."
"I love you." I whispered.
"Well, I love you." He replied.
"What?" I gasped.
My heart started to race and I felt my butterflies in my stomach.
"I'm so in love with you it's crazy! I want to kiss your lips every day all day, I would be by your side all day if you'd let me. I want to scream from the rooftops that you're mine because you are. You're all mine and I love you."
I rubbed my water eyes and let out a small chuckle.
"Meet me outside in ten minutes." I grabbed my sweater.
I hung up and ran to my dad telling him that I was going out. He gave me money even though I didn't need it and waved good bye.
I opened the door running out immediately bumping into something.
"James." I gasped.
He held me in his arms with a smile.
"I fucking love you." He said before smashing his lips onto mine.
His soft lips moved against mine slowly, he was showing me how much he loved me. He held my face in his hands and rubbed his thumb over my cheek. My arms wrapped around his neck while his hand at my waist.
All mine.
"All mine." He said against my lips.
Yup, this is my guy.
