Chad smacked the back of my head, making me snap out of my trance. I held the spot then look at him, beside him was Urijah who has a death glare towards me "If you want to train with the best, you gotta forget the rest" Chad said with his arms crossed over
I scoffed then followed by a smirk, I shook my head while continuing my handwraps "The best huh? Why didn't you win that interim title?" I asked then looked at Chad. He has a blank expression on his face then I stood up "Know your words" I said then walk past between the Two of them
I put on my left gloves and found out that I can't put on my other gloves "Fuck it" I yelled then remove it. I made sure my wraps are stable then start to hit the bags only with my wraps. I felt my wrist start to hurt but didn't budge
I elbow the bag many times before the bag was held by Urijah "Jade, stop it. Stop it right now" I finally stopped. Not because I was scared, but because I don't want to push Urijah's limits, it's something not pretty nice to see
"Step aside" I snarled, not even looking at him. He didn't budge and continue to hold the bag "Fine" I said then start hitting the bags again. After throwing a low kick, he step in front of the bag and tapped his cheek
"Hit me, come on. Hit me like I'm Conor" I yelled then I did. But I hit the bags behind him, I remain my arm connected to it then breathed heavily. Like earlier, he didn't flinch "When Justin Buchholz comes around tomorrow and discovers what you're doing, he would probably forget that you're a girl"
"Look how many fucks I give" I said then walk away. I went to the speed ball but only to find it locked. I turn to him then he shrugged his shoulders "Really?"
"I'm the leader around here, your attitude isn't needed" he said then I walk over to the bench where my stuff are and pack them "Jade-"
"I'll be meeting Justin tomorrow right? Okay" I said, not really paying attention to him and sling the bag over my shoulders "Have a nice night, Urijah" I said then stormed off.
I went inside my car but when I got in, Chad was waiting inside
"I've never picked a car since highschool! Your car is nice by the way, never knew the exterior was like this" I yelled, due to him scaring me, I accidentally toss my bags outside. This dude just talk outta nowhere and you expect me not to be scared? Fuck that!
I fell outside my car then stood up immediately. He turns to me then tried to hold in his laugh "You alright?" he asked
"Why are you in my car? How did you got in?" I asked, freaking out a bit then fix my posture "I don't like you already" I said then fix my bag, I put a few things back in since it's open
"I picked the car lock, don't worry. It's not scratched, this car shouldn't be scratched" he assured then pat the door
I put my hand out to him and shake it, warning him "Don't.Touch.The.Car" I threatened with my eyes closed, disbelief railing around me "Get out the car. Don't touch anything more, get out"
"Fine, fine. Jesus Christ-car freak" he said then mumbled the last line
"I'll show you who's the freak if you keep talking. Butt off, now" I demanded then he get out. He has his hands up behind his head while doing so. He closed the car then sat down on the hood
"I just want to sleep, can't I get that?" I said then a different voice boomed out
"It's been a week already, stop being such a drama queen" Shayna joked then mess my hair up. I put my head on the roof of the car and Ronda laughs
"The last time you broke up you beat Bethe, but you spend time in the gym. You guys don't need to worry about her, she's just an asshole on the beginning" Ronda said then sat down on the roof of my car, right beside Shayna
"Give her like-" we all look at Ronda, waiting for what she'll say while looking at her watch "-give her 25 minutes" I messed up her hair and I sent her a glare "Believe me-it's currently 10 minutes passed" she said then jump off the car. She gave me a hug then whispered "I'm sorry" I tried getting off her hug and she immediately put me in a Guillotine "If you won't get your head off his ass then, I won't hesitate putting you out" she yelled at me as I struggle getting out
I kneed her guts instead then took her down, I went on top of her and push her down with my other fist on ready to strike. She put both of her hands behind her head "Ronda, it's 27 minutes" Shayna joked then remove her eyes to her watch
"Come on Jade, use your skills in more reasonable stuff" Ronda said then smiled at me
"You pissing me off is a reasonable explanation" I said then get up, I lend my hand to her then stand her up "You guys know me so well sometimes it's pissing me off"
"Everything pisses you off after every breakup you go through" Shayna said then I nodded
Suddenly, my mood changes. Just earlier I want to beat all the people that breathes but now, I have my sights on Oreo ice cream "I just want to go home, I'm tired" I said then walk past Ronda, her smile fell and moves aside "You cheer me up, don't worry" I said, less scarier than earlier then give all of them a assuring smile
I opened my car again and toss my stuff on the backseat "Sorry for being a bitch right now, I'll go back here tomorrow. I'll be more professional and all that-" I said then hug both Shayna and Ronda before continuing, whispering on their ear with my eyes closed "-thanks for cheering me up guys. I don't know how to repay you guys for always being there by my side, even though I act like a kid" I said then let go but they both pulled me back in
"You don't have to be tough to show people you're okay, it would look bitchy" Shayna said, making me laugh "Be yourself and show what you really feel, it would lessen the pain" she added then I nodded
"I know everything's hard right now, for us and especially for you. But you get your ass up that horse" I nodded then gave both of them a pat on the back. I got inside my car and rolled the windows down "I'll be here in 7:30 in the morning" I said, looking straight at the road and drive off
I arrive at my temporary home, which is a penthouse and saw that all my stuff was already delivered. You know what pisses me off? Conor didn't even let me explain and deliver all my stuff, he didn't even face me. That's a load of crap, if Conor's a crap his sudden attitude is a golden crap
I grab the boxes, which were filled with my clothes. While I'm unlocking the door, a voice called me from the elevator behind me. A very-very familiar voice, I turn around and saw his coach. I rolled my eyes as he step out the elevator then I continue unlocking the door
I opened it and tried closing it but he put his arm on the gap "Jade, we need to talk" he said then I push it more, earning a painful groan
"Look asshole, I don't know how you did it but you can keep texting Nate" I yelled then drop the box "I can't blame you, Nate has charisma and is fun to talk with. You can go and turn all gay for him, I wouldn't even mind" I yelled then I lean my body to the door
"What are you talking about? I don't even know his number!"
"Jackass, you can break me and Conor up but never-ever slut shame me!" I yelled again then tried pushing the door but he still won't budge "Leave!"
"It wasn't me! I swear Jade! It wasn't me!" he yelled but I didn't believe him "Jade! I know we got into a wrong foot, but I would never break you and Conor apart! He's like family to me and I can't do that to him-"
"I'm done with your bullshit, if you won't leave in 5 seconds I would call security!" I yelled but he keeps talking
"It wasn't m-"
"5!"
"Jade! Conor's on a bar right now-"
"4!"
"I need you, he needs you! He can't do this! He would be in trou-"
"3! Leave!" I yelled then twisted his arm "Leave now!" I yelled then I close the door right after he pull his arm out. He keeps yelling but gave up a few seconds later
