Adrien's POV
" Hey Marinette" I walked up to her, feeling bad that I rejected her so quickly and even heartlessly. I hope that she doesn't hate me or worse break our friendship. I thought of all the worst things that could happen between us until the thought bubble popped with Marinette speaking.
"H-hey Adrien" she stuttered again, waving a small wave. She clutched onto her books tightly.
" So..I'm sorry Marinette that I made you burst out like that yesterday" I apologized. She giggled in response which to be honest, made me feel relieved.
"Well..I-I did cry myself to sleep last night, but I'm fine now" I looked at her curiously. She was crying? I guess why, but all night?
"Forget about I just said" she said as a light pink blush spreads across her face.
"Well I'm really sorry Marinette" I apologized again.
"I-It's fine A-adrien, just to say, I think I moved on now" Marinette says as she looked down at her shoes as if it is the most interesting on earth. Wait...what does she mean when she said that she moved on...Does she hate me now?
"Marinette, what do you mean by saying that you moved on" I said frantically. I just really don't want to lose her as a friend.
" I-I mean..that-" Marinette was cut off by the school bell and she rushed off to class. I wish she could tell me here and now...
Skip to the end of school
Marinette's POV
I saw Adrien at the exit with....CHLOE, the bossy girl. Ugh! She is so clingy.
"ADRIKINS!" Chloe was holding on to his arm and was trying to kiss him on his cheek. And Adrien was trying to get her off of him.
I felt kinda bad for him, but he doesn't really matter to me anymore, only as a "friend."
Only a friend, I guess...
I started to walk back home, but then I saw a familiar black cat running on the roof. I didn't think much of it, I thought he was on patrol. So then I continued walking home.
Adrien's POV
I wanted to ask Marinette what did she mean by "moved on" but of course, Chloe was clinging onto my shoulder. Like almost all the time, I wanted to talk to Marinette for a while. I wish that I have never met her. She's just so annoying and always causes akumas. By the time Chloe left, Marinette also left. So I quickly turned into Chat Noir. Hopefully she'll be more open up and willing to tell me more when I'm Chat. When I got to her roof I knocked on her window.
She noticed me and stopped whatever she was doing and let me in.
"I saw you running on the roof, I thought you were on patrol." said Marinette, she showed more emotions to me as Chat than as Adrien which I noticed at first sight.
"Oh, I wasn't on patrol, I just wanted to check up on my Princess, Princess." I gave her a little smirk and wink.
She giggled.
Gosh, what is this tingling feeling inside me? I kinda wished I didn't rejected her, Ladybug is way out of my league anyways just as what Marinette said earlier. She has the most cutest smiles and gives me butterflies in my stomach. Wait, do I have feelings for her? No way! That's stupid, I'm stupid. I rejected her, and now I want her?! That is so wrong, I shouldn't be the one chasing for her? What's wrong with me!
No One's POV
"Hey you there? Earth to Chat." Marinette noticed that Chat was spacing out and was bringing him back to reality.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine" Chat stuttered.
"Ok then, I'll go down to get some food for us, and hopefully when I get back you'll get your priorities together." She started going down her trapdoor and left the room.
Chat was puzzled. Chat loved Ladybug, but she always rejected him and she's way out of his league. And now he likes Marinette? He just rejected her and she "moved on." He was so stressed out about all of this so he head over to her bed and lie there to get everything together.
When Marinette came back with the food, she saw Chat sleeping in her bed. And she saw tears on his face. Was he crying in his sleep? She wiped out the extra tears rolling off his cheeks. She didn't want to wake him up and left him be. She ate some of the food and left some for him when he woke up. While Chat was sleeping, Marinette was doing her homework for tomorrow.
Later Chat woke up.
"Hey Princess sorry, I didn't meant to sleep on your bed. I was trying to get my thoughts together, but somehow I fell alsleep." He gave a little chuckle.
"It's fine, but may I ask why were you crying in your sleep? Was it of your other life?"
"I-I was c-crying in m-my sleep?" He stuttered.
"Chat, are you feeling alright? You look a little pale."
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just a little lightheaded."
"Oh ok, here's some food if you're hungry."
"Thanks Princess." He purred and went to eat the food.
"You know, if something is on your mind, you can always talk to me about it, right?"
"Y-yeah I know... But I don't know how to tell you. It's a bit complicated..." He trailed off.
"I understand."
"Anyways, I better get going. Ladybug is probably waiting for me for our patrol."
"R-right"
"Is something wrong?"
"N-nothing, I just wanted you to stay a little longer, but I understand that you need to go."
Chat was blushing. Marinette wanted him to say a bit longer. Is that what she meant by her moving on? Did she not have feelings for Adrien anymore, but with Chat? Is that what she meant all along?
"Awe the Princess wants to be with her Knight a little longer. Alright fine, anything to spoil the princess. How about 10 more minutes?"
"Y-you don't have to..."
She was blushing like a tomato. She tried to hide her face in her jacket. But his fingers lifted her chin, so she's looking at him. That made her even more red. And Chat thought it was cute.
"F-fine" she stuttered. Then looked away trying to cool down what just happened.
Chat chuckled. Then wrapped his arms around her neck and placed his chin on her head. They stayed that way for a little, but then somehow ended up cuddling. 10 minutes went by so fast.
"Sorry Princess, but duty calls."
"That's fine Chat."
"I'll see you tomorrow night, promise!" He kissed her forehead and left through her window for patrol.
"I'll see you in 2 minutes" Marinette said to herself and giggled.
"Tikki, transform me!"
Marinette was now Ladybug and was looking for Chat. Then she spotted him sitting on a roof.
"Hey Kitty"
"Hello M'Lady"
"Today's calm"
"Yeah" he sighed.
"What's wrong Kitty?"
"I-I don't know. There's just a lot on my mind tonight."
"I understand" she gave him a assuring smile.
Time Skipped
"I have told you that you look pawtiful tonight."
Instead of a eye roll, Ladybug actually laughed. Chat was a little surprised.
"Awe, did a bug caught your tongue?"
"M'Lady what's happening to you? First you didn't eye-roll on my pun, now you said a pun yourself!"
"Is that bugging you?"
Chat laughed.
"It's not that M'Lady, but you're not your normal self. Was it something I said or was a certain cat was on your mind?" He smirked at the last part.
"Chat don't get me started. It's getting late and I have school tomorrow. Good night Kitty."
And after that Ladybug left. There was now a very confused black cat on the roof. His feelings for Ladybug were dying, but after what just had happened, he doesn't know anymore. Was it possible for him to love both Marinette and Ladybug? He can't stop thinking about those two girls.
He then quickly left the roof and went back to his room. Laying on his bed, thinking about Marinette and Ladybug. He quickly fell alsleep due to the busy day he had today. Still thinking about the two girls...

The reason why May couldn't finish this chapter because she had to go to outdoor school for the whole week. And of course she can't bring her phone.
