Natsu and Gray were going through some difficult times. Gray was the eye of all the new Fairy Tail members and Natsu just watched from afar, he couldn't stand to see Gray with anyone else but him...he was jealous. Gray was one of the many guys who was attracting more members to the guild. Natsu didn't understand why his Gray was attracting more girls into the guild.
Lucy: Natsu.
Natsu: Yeah?
Lucy: Its only for a couple more days.
Natsu: But its just makes me upset to see him enjoying it.
Lucy: Natsu, he loves you.
Natsu: It doesn't seem like it. He smiles at them...and he makes me laugh but he makes them laugh even harder.
Lucy: Natsu. Come on. You can't be that serious.
Natsu: I just want him here. Not with them.
Natsu was furious and he marched out of the guild, Gray saw this and he excused himself to follow Natsu. Gray caught up to Natsu and Gray hugged him from behind.
Gray: Hey Natsu. Wanna go get something to eat?
Natsu: I don't know why don't you ask your new admirers?
Gray: What?
Natsu: Those girls.
Gray: Natsu.
Natsu: This has been going on for almost a week, and they want you. And you seem to want them too.
Gray: Woah woah. Natsu, you're getting the wrong idea. They were just-
Natsu: No.
Gray: What?
Natsu: No. I'm done.
Gray: What do you mean by that Natsu?
Natsu: I will never go back to you then.
Gray: Are you breaking our relationship?
Natsu: No, I just want some time to myself.
Gray: Natsu, I love you.
Natsu: I love you too. Its just that I need time to accept this.
Gray: Okay. I'll give you some time.
Natsu: Thank you Gray.
Natsu kissed Gray's cheek and Gray just stared at Natsu walk away. Gray couldn't believe that he and Natsu were going to be separated. He wasn't ready for this obstacle in his life. Gray loved him and with that he let go of his love. He wanted to fix his mistake. Natsu got home and he run to his room and landed on his bed. He covered his face with his pillow and he started to cry because he couldn't believe that he did that to his Gray. He turned on the radio that was by his bed side and he heard a song come on:

Natsu started to cry even more, he couldn't do it. But he loved Gray, but he didn't want Gray to be with those girls. He stayed in his room for the entire rest of the week. Natsu couldn't see Gray in the state that he was in. Natsu was in a stage of complete silence, he was in his room and he was in total insulation. Wendy had to do something for her older brother. She picked up the phone and dialed Gray's number.
Wendy: Gray!
Gray: Hey Wendy, its been awhile that I've heard your voice.
Wendy: Please come over!
Gray: What's wrong?
Wendy: Its Natsu.
Gray: What's wrong with Natsu?!
Wendy: He's been in his room for the whole week! And he's been so quiet its like he's in a stage of silence.
Gray: I'm on my way over there!
Gray hung up the phone and he ran out of the guild. He finally got to see Natsu. And he was smiling for the first time ever since he was able to see Natsu.
Gray: I'm coming for you Natsu. Don't worry.
Gray got there and he was about to knock and be wondered what Natsu was like now. Natsu being silent was a challenge he wasn't ready to face.
Wendy: Gray! You're here. Come on in. You have to fix Natsu!
Gray: Wendy, he just stopped talking and I doubt anything drastic changed in him-
They get to Natsu's door and it painted black. Gray looked at Wendy and she just shrugged it off and he knocked on the door.
Gray: Hey Natsu? Can you talk for a bit?
Natsu: Gray?
Gray: I'm here Natsu.
Natsu: Gray!!
Natsu runs out of the room and hugs Gray. Gray smiles and hugs Natsu, Natsu snuggles his face into Gray's chest and he smiles. Gray kisses Natsu's head and hugs him tighter.
Natsu: I missed you!
Gray: I did too. Wendy told me that you stopped talking for a week.
Natsu: Yeah, I was thinking and I was being jealous about those girls from the guild.
Gray: They don't come up to me anymore.
Natsu: Really? Why?
Gray: Because I told them that I'm only at your service and they could find someone else for recruiting new members.
Natsu: You're not gonna leave me alone anymore?
Gray: Of course not! I just want you back to your old self because you were scaring Wendy and she had to call me in order to get you out.
Natsu: Really, I'm sorry. I'm sorry Wendy, for scaring you.
Wendy: Well all that matters is that you two are back together.
Gray: Yeah.
Natsu: Right. Gray.
Gray: Yes Natsu?
Natsu: What was it like at the guild without me?
Gray: Its was silent, no one was attending to the new members and everyone was worried about you, you know. Sting almost killed me because he heard about why you weren't at the guild. And Happy, he was lonely.
Natsu: I'm gonna go tomorrow to see everyone. And Happy is gonna be excited to see me again.
Gray: Well I am.
Natsu: Gray.
Gray: What? It's true.
Natsu: Thanks.
Gray: For what?
Natsu: Being the one thing that makes me smile.
Gray: Am I honestly the only one who makes you smile? Because you have family back at Fairy Tail.
Natsu: Hey. That's not fair.
Gray: I know its not. But from now on, if you have any problems, please come to me first and we'll get through it together.
Natsu: I promise that the next time I have a problem, I will come to you first. Okay Gray?
Gray: I'm completely fine with it. Just please be careful from now on Natsu because I don't want you risking your life since it would be my fault.
Natsu: Okay, I won't risk my life even if it is to save yours you dumbass.
Gray: You better be joking.
Natsu: I'm joking.
Gray: Good because I want you here with me and you're going to be safe and sound.
Natsu: Gray. Come on, its not like I'm gonna die some day.
Gray: You never know. Natsu you don't know that.
Natsu: I'm sorry I mentioned something like that.
Gray: Natsu, I just got you back. Let's go home.
Natsu: Okay.
Gray wrapped his arm around Natsu's waist and Natsu looked up at Gray and he smiled at Gray and Gray kissed his forehead. Gray was haply to have his Natsu back but there was still a question in the back of his mind.
What will become of his future with Natsu and will he be facing even harder challenges along the way?
